Ironically, as this was the first Star Fox game I ever played I was able to get these controls, I somehow had a worse time learning how to control Star Fox 64 on virtual console.

@@hectorluis7630 Fun Fact: the only reason this game was made is because Miyamoto wanted a flight game that can viewed at multiple angles for the sake of (spectacle). However it takes away accessibility, so you work harder to perform well.
Thankfully there's a minus button, if you can't use the two screens.

And that was the true story on how Slippy ruined Star Fox Zero, prompted Platinum Games to become a 2nd party developer for Activision and forced Nintendo to release Star Fox Guard rather than finish the game properly.
But in all due honesty, its a fun game ... until you play through that AWFUL gyrocopter level where you spend half the chapter trying to figure out what the hell you're suppose to do. At least the fan-service level with Bill, Katt, tons of giant spaceships, a battle-station you can blow up from inside and a Star Wolf dogfight ... almost made up for the gyrocopter. At the very least Nintendo could've added a new level that connects the game to Star Fox Adventures.

Star Fox Assault's land missions controls better than Star Fox Zero as a whole!

Star Fox Assault Good controls, stiff on foot missions, clunky tank missions Star Fox Zero Bad Motion controls on every flying, tank submarine mission.. In conclusion.Star Fox Assault would've been better with only flying missions like Zero minus the motion controls.

Played the WiiU Starfox for 5 Minutes, threw it out the Window and plopped the N64 one in. Ahhh, nice to play a game with GOOD CONTROLS.
Seems crazy at first but OK once you get used to it.
Way more accurate than any other Starfox game - in the sense the movement and the firing are independently controlled as opposed to the target that only points in the direction the vehicle is facing.
Very awkward at first but once you get your mind / coordination round it - its a superior control system to the other games.
Not knocking the originals though as they are Classics.
Just saying the Wii u version controls seem weird but they are instinctive once you master them
I haven't laughed this hard in a long time; that was pretty good!
Even though I was a fan of the controls, I still don't understand why there wasn't an option to disable them; there's only a handful of instances where they're REALLY needed, and even then some very minor tweaks would make the game possible without them.
The voice you gave Falco just makes me laugh anytime he makes a noise, and when slippy told him that he socks just made me burst put laughing on with the I'm sorry from fox.

I've only played maybe 1 or 2 games with actually decent and responsive motion controls... Star fox Zero is NOT one of them.

I keep seeing people ask why things were falling so let me explain. think of it like this in space if you push (or boost) something it will not stop until it hits something so both must've had some type of propulsion pushing the forward. So the mist probable cause is that they weren't falling but just floating (the bird pilot's ship must've been pushed by an air realese while transforming)

Could some explain to me why a star fighter capable of VTOL needs to transform into a helicopter?
It doesn’t do that in game. The gyrocopter is an entirely separate vehicle deployed for stealthy missions and hacking. I assume that it’s due to G-Diffusors being easily detectable on the enemy scanners or something.
It is still a dumb idea.
***** You are in a futuristic space fighter capable of VTOL and should have stealth technology because future. Also people play Star Fox to blow shit up, not be quiet and hack stuff.
***** That is true for a lot of missions in MGS5 and when you play the old ones on highest difficulty you are practically screwed if you are caught.
Y'know what's even dumber? Introducing us to the helicopter controls by having us fly STRAIGHT into enemy territory via wormhole with NO backup, no other vehicle to use and still expect to make it back alive since we're flying solo.
I mean, it's not like it's deep in enemy territory where the quickest way in/out is through a portal, and the bad guys were trying to steal back their superweapon through said portal and thus would be a shitload on the other side waiting to secure and reprogram that weapon, right? And, if they cut off the portal there'd be no way your team could save you in time. But that's not gonna happen right? Did I mention we barely know how to pilot the helicopter?
And this is why, when I play Star Fox an emu, I do it with a joystick.
idk about anyone else but, it just peeves me to see brawl fox and falco with adventures slippy and peppy. XD
