You mention that several of the actors appear on Hawaii Five-0, but you neglect that about as many also appear on Once Upon A Time/Once Upon A Time In Wonderland.
So I'm Re watching Lost for the 2nd time and I know there are loads of unanswered questions but I have 1 that's been bugging me for the past few days. Wondering if anyone has a good answer? So... Whitmore has been trying to find the island for all these years and Whitmore clearly knows Elouise Hawking. He sends Desmond straight to her in the basement of the old church. Why does Whitmore never just use her to get there??? Is there maybe a difference in actually crash landing on the Island versus simply traveling to the island like in the sub using the correct bearing???
There are a lot of actors that were on Lost that were on Once Upon A Time too. Also, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kistis (who created Once Upon A Time) were producers on Lost since the half on season1.
Re video game references you left out... There's a Swan Computer with the numbers on it in Half Life 2: Episode 2 (part of a trade with the producers of Lost who put a clip of folks playing Half Life in the TV show), and there's an entire island that you will crash on to due to a storm when you approach it in Just Cause 2 that has both a hatch and the smoke monster.
Was hoping to see you mention the movie "The Wedding Ringer" in which Garcia is in, and at the end of it they are on a plane and Garcia turns to the camera and says " i have a bad feeling about this flight" :( oh well!
In one of the last episodes of lost, Benjamin lynes picks up a book and a porno mag (which both belong to Sawyer), the book is Benjamin disraeli’s autobiography (the only Jewish/British prime minister)
Two fun facts: Katy Sagal, who played Helen, went on to play “Married with Children” (how cute!) and Julie Bowen, who played Jack’s wife Sarah, turns up in Modern Family, as Clair, a great part!
25:50 Deftones also has a song entitled "This Place Is Death". the album featuring that song was released about a year after the air date of the episode with the same title
Great source of Lost info. BTW, I think the show was intentionally made as confusing as it was to make fans have to watch the show multiple times to try to understand what they watched.
Imo the confusion is the whole point... life doesn't make sense, except for the love we find within it. Every character was lost in life in their own unique way, but found themselves on the island through the community they build together. When you let go of all the details and just experience the show emotionally, it becomes so much more brilliant.
to me the narration is WAAAAAY too fast. You are talking to fast for me to understand what you're saying. lol.. I had to play several of the facts 2 times to catch everything.
102: when Desmond was beating up Ben, Michael Emmerson (Ben) actually got punched in the face by accident and had to cover his black eye for the remainder of the series.
The most awesome couple in lost is Kate and Jack ,,, I can't explain how great this show is,,,, only word to describe this show is awesome ,,, there's no other show that can compete with this🤘
If you miss Lost, just do what I did. I named my contacts on my phone after the characters. (Including profile pic) So now I can text Desmond "Hey brotha"

Speaking of Lost easter eggs in games--Just Cause 2 has an entire island as a nod to the one from Lost. Including any planes flying above it crashing, the hatch, the smoke monster, etc.

The only problem I have with this show is the fact it was way to short
23 it's the most used number from that list is because is Jack's number, you know, at that lighthouse and the others numbers corespond to other main characters 4-Hurley 8-Sawyer 15-Sayid 16-locke. 42-Jin (btw they are not în the corect order)
World of Warcraft (wotlk) also has a reference to LOST. It's in the Sholazar Basin. There's a hatch in the jungle and when you click it, it reads "4 8 15 16 23 42"
Some other facts are:
- the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42 combined = 108

I had just turned 2 years old when the show began. My birthday is September 20th, and I was born in 2002.
Good question
Jack could not have been played by anyone but Matthew Fox.
Now that you have done LOST can you please do 101 facts about Fringe please?
Antarcticaball yes,please do😊😊😊
This tv show is the best ever made. There’s no doubt about it
There are a lot of actors that were on Lost that were on Once Upon A Time too.
Waiting for a mention of once upon a time, the creators of OUAT were writers on lost and several of the same actors starred in both
Lots of "Lost" easter eggs in OUAT too.....Apollo bars, the lost numbers, McKutchen Whiskey to name only some!
Same. I was waiting for a mention too!
I actually have the lost board game! It’s very confusing
Things You forgot:
Ocieanic 815 was a 777.
The wreckage used was from a former delta L1011.
Was hoping to see you mention the movie "The Wedding Ringer" in which Garcia is in, and at the end of it they are on a plane and Garcia turns to the camera and says " i have a bad feeling about this flight" :( oh well!
He's also in an episode of Californication in the same season where Maggie Grace (Shannon) plays Hank's temporary love interest.
In one of the last episodes of lost, Benjamin lynes picks up a book and a porno mag (which both belong to Sawyer), the book is Benjamin disraeli’s autobiography (the only Jewish/British prime minister)
I get that the channel is called "101Facts" but man... 108 facts would have really made it come full circle. Love the video, though!
When the little girls speech bubble said "I'm a writer for LOST" I LOST it
I couldn't read many of the speech bubbles they all went by too fast was kinda annoying lol
Garcia (Hurley) at the end of The Wedding Ringer is on a plane and says I got a bad feeling about this. A reference to Lost. 😀
Mack 1830 also Star Wars , which his character is a fan of..
Two fun facts: Katy Sagal, who played Helen, went on to play “Married with Children” (how cute!) and Julie Bowen, who played Jack’s wife Sarah, turns up in Modern Family, as Clair, a great part!
You forgot to include that matthew fox was cast for the role of sawyer before ended up getting jacks instead.
That's not true.
Not true. He read for the role of sawyer first and then they had him read for the role of Jack
You should try to do a reference to "I wanna marry harry" in every vid
“The Constant” is the best episode by far
25:50 Deftones also has a song entitled "This Place Is Death". the album featuring that song was released about a year after the air date of the episode with the same title
I'm sorry, "The then popular reality TV show, Survivor." THE SHOW IS STILL POPULAR AF OMFG.
I love the "I'm the Doctor " line by Jack reference to "Doctor Who"
I'm feel disappointed that there were not 108 facts LOL
Mira Furlan, although playing a french character on the show, was actually croatian.
The picture of the actor you have for Henry Ian Cusick is actually the actor for Paulo, Rodrigo Santoro.
to me the narration is WAAAAAY too fast. You are talking to fast for me to understand what you're saying. lol.. I had to play several of the facts 2 times to catch everything.
dang i was coming back to make this comment! i forgot that I already wrote it 4 years ago lol
this show started the day after i was born same year and evrey thing
You should have added the fact that a lot of actors from lost also appear on once upon a time.
Well, of course, OUAT was created by two writers who wrote 21 episodes of Lost.
i feel like a lost farcry game would be amazing
102: when Desmond was beating up Ben, Michael Emmerson (Ben) actually got punched in the face by accident and had to cover his black eye for the remainder of the series.
JKaw on Lost is like mixing mustard with ice cream
The most awesome couple in lost is Kate and Jack ,,, I can't explain how great this show is,,,, only word to describe this show is awesome ,,, there's no other show that can compete with this🤘
22:06 that photo isn't of Henry Ian Cusick, it's of Rodrigo Santoro. His character's name was Paulo, I guess
22:07
Narrator: say Henry Ian Cusick
Video: shows Rodrigo Santoro
If you miss Lost, just do what I did. I named my contacts on my phone after the characters. (Including profile pic) So now I can text Desmond "Hey brotha"
Can you make 101 facts about Person of interst?
I really liked that series!!!
Person of interst would be awesome. should not of ended it.
YAY, SAM! Thank you! I've been waiting for a 101 facts on LOST! High five, good sir!
23 was jacks number written by jacob on the wheel
Speaking of Lost easter eggs in games--Just Cause 2 has an entire island as a nod to the one from Lost. Including any planes flying above it crashing, the hatch, the smoke monster, etc.
Senses Fail the same band that wrote Lost and Found ALSO wrote another song on that same album titled All The Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues
P.s I love Senses Fail
I remember when i first started watching this beautiful masterpiece. Me and my brother started together. It got good very fast, I can recall getting mad at my brother because i happen to logon Netflix while at work and seen my brother had watched 5 episodes without me so I went into settings and logged out of all devices. 😂😂
5 episodes though?
The only problem I have with this show is the fact it was way to short
A lot happened in the 6 seasons though.
My favorite show!
I think a lot of people can agree with #42 such a great episode.
23 it's the most used number from that list is because is Jack's number, you know, at that lighthouse and the others numbers corespond to other main characters 4-Hurley 8-Sawyer 15-Sayid 16-locke. 42-Jin (btw they are not în the corect order)
You mixed up almost everyone.
World of Warcraft (wotlk) also has a reference to LOST. It's in the Sholazar Basin. There's a hatch in the jungle and when you click it, it reads "4 8 15 16 23 42"
22:08 That's not Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond), that's Rodrigo Santoro (Paulo).
me: *sees video in recommended*
FRICK YES THIS IS WHAT I NEED. NOT FOOD, NOT WATER,
JUST THIS.
