Seanie B This is gonna be a long one, forgive me. First things first- - Jacob could talk to you -Who here remembers Gus? -Miss you pop :( -Travel videos coming soon! -Hurley Oh, and also, “smells like carrots” ;) Now that that’s out of the way... This was incredible. I watched your zoom stream, got to talk to you personally, that was amazing. I felt like a small group of us got to experience something that countless million LOST fans will never have the pleasure of saying they were apart of it. You made it special. The video itself, was incredible. The editing was pure eye candy. I laughed, I learned a few things I didn’t know before (which was surprising), I got emotional. I believe you hit every note you set out to. My only regret is that in the vast sea of RUclips, this video will be missed by countless millions of LOST fans who will never know it exists. I hope the youtube algorithm pushes this video and maybe it even goes viral! I am sorry for the loss of your father, and I am glad to see things are going good in your life currently. Keep doing what you love, keep traveling and keep editing. I can’t wait to see what you bring to us all next. Thank you :)
Perfect summary of the greatest and most impactful story in film or television. It was like finally coming back to an old friend after many years apart; some great insights on the whole show and The End, but most special of all was your full conclusion on what the show was truly and ultimately all about - it was truly overwhelmingly moving. It’s great to see you’re well, you’ve moved on in life and you’re having incredible new adventures but you’ve also never forgotten. Powerful stuff. Thank you!

This video was amazing and worth the wait. Felt like I was time travelling back to when I watched the episodes the first time. Thanks so much brother. It was so fun. Still miss Gus! Wish I could win the amazing prize to get a message from Jacob. Can you do a runner up prize. It's so amazing you got in contact with Jacob. Take care and wishing you all the best. Thanks brother
My husband and I used to watch it every week. He died before the last season and I would tell him after every show what had happened. But after the final episode, I was crying so much that couldn't recap it to him for days!
They where all lost, they had lost they’re families, when every person dies it signifies that they are not lost anymore and they found they’re family. The island is the sign of lost and in the end is a sign of finding the family they where lost with. That’s what made the best finale show of all time. They where never lost in a island, they where lost real in life, the island is being stuck if they’re struggles in life and death in the island means they’re not lost no more.
True! You know what is super interesting...nine times out of ten, when I am watching a tv show, one of the actors is from LOST. HTGAWM, Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, This is Us, Law & Order SVU, and the list goes on and on. Usually they are not main characters, but they will be in one episode and it is always a very nice surprise.

Juliet's "It worked" at the vending machine is also what she wanted to tell Sawyer right before she died. James made Miles get the message from her after they buried her.
I agree Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn are the stand out performers of Lost. I think just under him would be Matthew Fox and Henry Ian Cusack. Matthew Fox in particular I think grew so much as an actor over the course of the show. His performance in season 6 is just beautiful.
This show always had the most profound emotional impact in my life. It taught me that we’re all special in ways we don’t even realize and how important that makes us to each other. Thank you for making this man, it took me down memory lane and helped me remember how much i loved this show. If there is any other show I’d recommend, it’s DEFINITELY “Dark” on Netflix. It approaches its story with the same importance to its characters and it is the best science fiction series I’ve ever seen so far. May the Force be with you, always.

I understand that the producers said that the show has completely run its course but a miniseries covering Ben Hurley and Walt on the island would literally be the best thing that's ever happened.
Person Of Interest is a sequel to the Hurley & Ben show -- when Ben goes out into the world of the flash sideways, he changes his name to Harold Finch.
On Amazon (UK), they’ve edited this line out, along with the scene with Hurley and Ben outside the church. I have no idea why but I’d love to know the thinking behind omitting such pivotal scenes.
Ryan N. Can’t find anything that explains it. Weird to cut two pivotal scenes without explanation. I feel like both of the cut scenes were pretty important.
I watched Lost for the very first time in 2022, every episode in order back to back over a week long period. I went in with no expectations, having avoided any backstory other than knowing it was about a group of people that survived a plane crash on an island. I'm so happy I waited and went in blind because I found the final episode to be perfect. The entire series had such an emotional impact on me in a way that is hard to describe because it transcended entertainment and left me happy/sad and soulfully longing.
I also watched it this year for the first time. Actually I finished the series yesterday, although over a period of only 3 months 1/2. An amazing show with amazing story and characters.
Yes, yes, yes. I've binge-watched the entire series about 5 or 6 times and I still get the tingles as each character starts to remember, and the ending was just perfect.
When I was 8 years old. I was walking to school and was hit by a lady driving a 76 Monte Carlo. She was doing over 70 miles an hour. I died that day. Right there on highway 80. I was with God which seem to me like about an hour. But in this time it was only a few minutes. When I awoke in the hospital I spent over two years learning how to walk but again had to learn how to talk again and feed myself. Even though I'm one-hundred-percent positive there is a God I'm still very confused sometimes about what it's supposed to happen. I've always had this feeling that I'm not supposed to be here. I think about it all the time but I still do not know why God gave me a second chance to he here. I have always connected with the show. I've watched it over and over again. I really connect with every part of it. I do not have all the answers. But I do have a lot of faith in God's mercy.
I'll be rewatching this series for the rest of my life. It never gets old. I just finished it for the 4th time and I already cant wait to experience it again
I'm about to rewatch after about 4 or 5 years and I'm so excited, I have a bad memory and I'm hoping parts of it will feel fresh again like the first time I saw it!!
*You saying "one of the most complex love stories on television of all time" means you've watched every television series in history to make that call lol ~*

I disagree I haven't seen the show in a long time, but I always remember thinking that Jin could have done much better than to go back to a person who couldn't even be faithful to him. Cheaters really don't deserve 2nd chances
Wow...how did this go from just wanting to have fun with nostalgia to giving me all the feels! This was beautiful and made me appreciate the show and the ending in a whole new way. This may have just been a tv show, but it reminded me of all the friends I made memories with while I watched it, all the tears and exciting moments...it was beautiful and you took me back to the island! Thank you Seanie B 🥰 This was worth the wait
I started watching Lost a few months ago, under the direction of my dad who watched the show when it was first airing. I was initially opposed, thinking that Lost would be some weird Survivor rip-off without the reality show aspect...after finishing it, it's now my favorite show of all time. It has everything. The mysteries to keep you hooked for each episode. The plots that let you appreciate the craft. And of course, most importantly, the characters that create the heart and soul of the show. I never expected to get all the answers, and I'm actually glad we didn't. Part of what made Lost so special is that we as the audience were lost. Season 3's cliffhanger finale isn't amazing because we know how it all turns out. It's amazing because we *don't* know how it turns out. The mystery of these characters isn't interesting because we know everything about them, it's because we're lost when it comes to their personalities, and discovering everything about them as the show goes on. The finale has such an impact because it's this culmination of events. Yes, the flash-sideways world is "fake"... but it doesn't lessen the impact of these characters. We get to see full circle how they came to be the people they are now, and it's a testament to the journey the audience has gone on, discovering these characters and these plots, without undoing any of that impact because they're dead. I loved the finale because it gives us answers, gives us character wrap-ups, but at the same time does not takeaway the character developments and those mysteries. Maybe it was just being stuck at home, but I really felt like Lost is the closest there is to a perfect TV show. I already felt that at the end of the finale, but your video really helped me appreciate that more. I look forward to your future videos, and thank you for making this one.
I TOTALLY related to what you said Thomas! Especially the Survivor rip-off part at first haha :D Loved reading your comments, thanks so much for watching my video! More LOST content coming out in December btw, so stay tuned!!!

Yep, I actually didn't really like Jack for the first 5 seasons, but season 6 he turned it around 100%. Absolutely legendary, and a believable transformation.
WOW Seanie Boy! Beautiful insights! Fantastic production quality and editing! Thank you so much! Your work affects people! Thanks for the hangout today. We look forward to what you do next!
The Jack and his father moment made me choke up too, i lost my dad about 5 years back. Coming to this channel was like a ritual after watching a Lost episode for me, and the ending didnt feel right without a recap. This was really satisfying, and oddly now time has passed i think i might be happier with the ending. Maybe it's time...time to go back. Thanks Seanie B
Someone sent me the link to this video a week ago. I finally got around to watching it today, 25 years to the day that my father died. Coincidence or fate? So that bit had me in pieces too.
I love this show. I remember being 7 in 2004 and watching the Pilot episode... But I was 7 lol. I didn't watch it until May 2016, two weeks after I graduated high school. I watched it in two whole weeks. It was so good that I watched it again 10 months later. Such a master piece.
indeed brother rewatched entire thing during quarantine the concepts, the cast of characters, the bonds and adventure this show was amazing Although last 2 seasons were meh and kate was a big yikes
@@Mistyfgdf same watched over the beginning of quarantine and ended up crying and I’m so nostalgic to go back to watching it again for the first time and that feeling of awe and suspense every episode
I never wanted to watch this show, but during covid I binge watched it. It was such a ride! I loved it from beginning to end. My mom died less than a year ago, and the series finale had me sobbing...even hours after.
Finished the recap last night. This is seriously the best LOST video I'v seen on RUclips. It brought me back to the feels of LOST. And dang, that last part at the end is so incredibly beautiful, I had a tear or two. Incredible Seanie B 🙏
I’ve talked about how I would have always loved a recap and here it is. You certainly did not disappoint. Your editing skills are so professional now. You’ve come full circle. I just need to add that the quotes, music and suitcase full of pictures was such a powerful way to end the recap. Thanks for giving us closure. Well done.
Thank you so much Jilien that really means a lot to me :) and that ending scene was actually the first thing I added to the recap, and so happy you liked it! 🙏🏻😊
3am and im crying watching this recap of the ending just like i was when i watched the ending on livestream at like 3am over here 10 years ago. full circle. man i really miss this show :(
@@TheSeanieB yeah this was a great video!! its been so long since ive last re-watched lost. btw youre totally right about how with every re-watch theres always scenes and detailes that i keep forgetting about, too. theres just so much happening and so much going on all the time haha

Literally just finished watching Lost for the very first time and my mind is blown. This show is arguably the best TV series ever created. Nothing being produced today even comes close. John Locke was my favorite character from the first time I saw him sitting cool, calm and collected while everyone else panicked. He was awesome and so were the others! What an amazing show that will be pondered over for years to come. (My only wish is that they NEVER REBOOT THIS SHOW. They will only tarnish it. Writers in Hollywood today would wreck the shows legacy like they've done to soo many others.)
Bruh, a reboot would be awful, I fully agree! All the stories would revolve around how oppressed they are, their gender roles, and garbage that even most liberals don't want their media suffocated with.
Missed opportunity for me, I wish the death of the MIB went down like this: MIB: it's too late Jack, you cant stop it.... Jack: dont tell me what I cant do. *kicks him off the cliff* The final transformation of Jack into Locke
Honestly, I couldn't even get to season 3. It raised too many questions and gave no answer so people wouldn't botter watching, that's what happened to me.
@@MrFeupinha They did answer nearly everything. The only things I didn't like, personally, were the supernatural explanations. Like, the magical hot tub that brings Sayid back to life. Or that Richard could live forever because he drank magical water. Or that Jacob and The Man in Black couldn't kill each other because some woman said so with magical words. Everything else had wonderful answers, imo.
Ex Machina Lost for me is the best, the ultimate, the holy grail example of how to use it as a get-out-of-jail card when you don't know how to end your saga of a story. Saying this as a previously big fan of the show. I watched it a lot of times. Me and my friends waited like a bunch of bitches for each episode, pulling our hairs for each new season. We were a walking commercial for it. The addition of the supernatural stuff is definitely the spit in my eye, the thorn in my left ass cheek. This is a bad joke, a laugh in the face of the devoted fans of the show. The show NEVER mentioned supernatural stuff in the first episodes. I truly expected a science based answer to the Mysteries that were unraveled right and left, thickening the plot more and more. Supernatural crap is the best plot holes patch. Its like God. It solves anything. why? because. take it on face value and get fucked. LOL, amazingly, I still recommend to see it. for the lure, for the atmosphere and for the great value production and good actors and interesting characters you actually care about and can relate to. I can even recommend to watch it up until the 4th season just for the story with Desmond and Penny. Very emotional and interesting. that was my favorite season.
@@vela-6 Yeah i figured they might've done that eventually, but when they were coming out was too much time for me. Might check it out now that i van binge watch it.
Hi there! Newly christened Lostie here who’s been putting off LOST related RUclips content up until now! I really enjoyed the show, so I was excited to see what people had to say about it since it debuted such a long time ago. While I wasn’t there for the initial run of the show (and the apparently chaotic theorizing and community building that occurred), it makes me happy to see that people still care about it, despite the bad rap it got for its finale. Thank you for making this video and emphasizing all the points on why I personally enjoyed LOST and will remember it until the end of time. This show has become special to me, and I think it’s great that it’s an experience I share with so many others. (I would like to make a request: would it be possible to re-upload the last part of this review/montage as a separate video? I think it serves well as a standalone tribute to LOST (and by ‘well’ I mean I teared up), and would like to share it with others! Thanks again)
Undoubtedly the best show I have ever watched. So glad I went in this with no spoilers and opinions from others despite the occasional complaining from my dad who lost interest towards the end of the series. This was probably because he stuffed an ipad in his face literally every time we watched or falling asleep mid episode. When you miss the details, you miss the entire point of the show, underlying themes, and connections. Had to explain so much shit to him I gave up after awhile lol. This had to be a similar representation of people who probably didn't pay attention or practice reflection to appreciate the show for what it was at its core. All the subdelties, characters stories, fantasy, life lessons, and incredible talent from the crew and cast, this became more than just a show but an otherworldly experience.
This was amazing, with a beautiful ending montage! Thanks for giving us the closure with LOST a lot of us have waited 10 years for. See you in another video, brotha!
Really happy you enjoyed it Danieldo! Thanks so much for watching the whole thing, I know it was long haha, and YES! See you in another video! You will see really soon ;) Sub to get them!
@@gamblerfls I've seen the whole thing 3 times now, it does get confusing at points, but I feel as though everything was answered, stop being a negative twat, star wars has nothing to do with this either? Also, he didn't ruin it, he set up the first one really well and clearly had a plan in mind that was completely fucked over by rian Johnson in the second film, JJ tried to salvage what he could but ultimately knew he took the helm of a sinking ship.
I always felt a little frustrated that Locke and Boone never seem to interact at the end in the church after they seemed to have quite an important relationship on the island.
@@dominicgunderson If we didn't see it how do we know it happened? I can imagine anything happened. It's not the same as actually seeing it portrayed. I could skip watching the whole show and just imagine stuff happening.

Great job Seanie B, to me Lost is the best series of all times, it was 10 years ago and will always be, nothing gets even close. Thanks for the final recap. Who cares what made you do it 10 years later. "Everything happens for a reason" 😉👍🏻
I used to watch your videos every week with my brother in anticipation for the next episode. Finale aired my junior year of high school. Here I am ten years later, as a resident physician (yes, inspired in part to pursue medicine by Jack’s character) getting emotional over the first RUclipsr I watched do TV series recaps before it became big. This was worth the wait. Thanks for the memories Seanie B!
I’m so happy I found this :) I love LOST. I was a teen when I watched it and it was already over. I never got to be part of any community for it. I’ve watched it so many times it’s impacted me heavily and continues to as I get older.
Incredible job... I’m so glad that I have been apart of this journey with everyone in this community. LOST for me, like many of you, has had a lasting impact on my life. I’ve looked into the heart of this story... and what I saw was beautiful.
I can’t believe this, I thought about you yesterday, remembering Lost and your recaps, and today I decided to look you up again only to find out that you just uploaded this final recap, this is so weird!!!!!! I just can’t believe it. Hi from Argentina. I’m so glad to see you well and back at it. Thank you
That's crazy! I actually have heard that from a few other people, I agree with Brendan below, it's fate! Really want to visit Argentina someday soon :)

For me, Lost will always be an iconic show. An emotional and impactful experience, every time I watch it back. After watching this recap, it is incredibly detailed and respectful, to all involved who made Lost become a timeless classic. I will recommend to anyone, to watch this video after their own experiences with Lost. Great job Seanie B! Props on the editing too!
Totally EPIC! Quality is top notch! Comedy all hits! Emotional moments edited amazing! The final moments of this was amazing! I had LOST off my mind for years and this just brought back sooo many years of memories of watching it. But seriously the production you just made, sound, lighting, everything, was better than anyone else out there! Lots of recap videos online and explaining videos, etc, but nothing matches this right here. It was 10 years of waiting, and totally worth every second. No question this is only the beginning for you, and I can’t wait to see all the success you have with this channel if you keep it up!
Thank you so much KM, I really appreciate your kind words! Means a lot to me that you watched the whole thing too as I know it was long AND sticked with me for as long as you have :D Any suggestions for future videos to make to grow my channel?
Seanie B it’s just about consistency and quality. You put this kind of quality into consistent videos people can watch it will grow like mad. My only suggestion is don’t make people wait so long for future videos lol
I'm looking forward to watching this. I started my second rewatch of the series a couple months ago with my 12 year old, and he loves it as much as I hoped he would. It's crazy I didn't have any kids when I first watched this show and now I'm talking theories with my boy like I did back in the day. It's been a pretty great conversation starter about some difficult things too. We've talked about how people we look up to aren't perfect, our heroes are human and make mistakes just like us. And about forgiveness for ourselves and the people we love. I think that's a conversation I'm still having with myself thanks to this work of art.
Thank you so much for this man, I just finished watching this show for the first time today and I feel like Ihave rediscovered myself, this is pure art
Didn't know you ended up making this video. Found it while searching for your old videos for some nostalgia (used to watch your older recaps while the show was still on the air). Extremely well done, as usual. Lots of stuff I didn't catch, even to this day, which shows you're still one of the best LOST content creators. Thanks for all of the research and time you put into these over the years. The Egyptian/Mesopotamian topics in general were really interesting. I wish the show had delved into that instead of making it more of a background easter egg in the end, because there was always so much symbolism throughout the series and I had always thought that's where it was heading. It was nice to see that the connections were there after all, just wish they brought it to the forefront a bit more. As far as people not understanding the ending, I think a lot of that was just a meme (or at least I hope). I feel sorry for anyone who actually thought they were dead the whole time, as I thought the show was pretty clear in explaining that away. I loved the final episode then, and I still love the final episode now. Ultimately, they didn't need to answer everything. We dug too deep into the lore, when really it's a basic story of saving the world, and the journey the characters go on throughout the series. It was a fantastic sendoff for a group of characters we spent so much time with.
A lot of work was put into this Sean, I just found you and thank you for putting this together. Lost is still one of the greatest series i have ever watched, and i watched every episode weekly, for every season and boy was that hard some weeks with the cliffhangers they left you on. This definitely touches you deeply, if you're open to receive the depth of its meaning and I'm so glad I made the commitment to stick with it and let the process unfold. It was truly worth it in the end. Anyway, thanks again for this amazing recap, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours and I'll see you in another life brother. peace
I’m on my fifth watch-through of Lost right now and I decided to just search Seanie B on a whim today.... you don’t understand the amount of happiness it brings me to see that this video is HERE!!! Well done Sean, and I’m so excited you’re back!
I love the explanation about The Source and the part where you intercut it with Juliet telling Sawyer how to get the Apollo bar out of the vending machine. So....the whole explanation for what they did to save the island was essentially "Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again?" lol, any tech support professional could tell you that! Love it hahaha.
Beautiful...absolutely beautiful! The love, care attention and detail that went into this was amazing! I was a huge fan of Lost, and this video has made me appreciate it even more. I am genuinely thankful to you for taking the time to make this. :)
Thank you, thank you for this video. LOST is by far my favorite show I've ever watched. It's changed my perspective on life, what relationships truly mean, and what moving on (and letting go) could potentially be like. The storyline is so complex that I'm still learning about new things that I didn't notice or think of before, even after watching this series 5 times already. And that is why I love this show so much. It's not simplified and tied up in a neat little bow, it doesn't give us all the answers, but it left me with so much wonder and joy. The producers didn't want this show to affect everyone the same, because we're all not the same. They wanted us to interpret it the way WE wanted to (that being said "whatever happened, happened" and THEY ALL DIDN'T DIE IN THE CRASH sorry not sorry to anyone who believes that) and the fact that they incorporated religion into this interpretation made this show truly magical. I cry every time I watch the finale too (so I really related to you at 1:49:00). That scene in particular, yes, is pivotal in understanding the entire point of the flash-sideways, but I just get so choked up (I actually full-on sob but it's fine) watching the interaction between Jack and his father. Jack crying, realizing, accepting, and Christian just being by his side while he lets go. The man of science becomes a man of faith. Again, thank you for this recap.
Omg I can't belive this. I watched LOST for the first time like 5-6 years ago and I was so glad to have found your videos back then, because I did not understand a thing about what was going on! So excited about this one 👏🏻 welcome back!
@@TheSeanieB Been waiting 10 years...:) Thanks again for filling in the gaps that weren't clear. After discovering your video on the reason for the gap, your story is very touching.
I know this video is over a year old but you did come back after 10 years so maybe this will actually happen lol but I think if you made a video explaining the entire story of Lost from beginning to end it would absolutely kill on RUclips because there's yet to be a video thoroughly explaining the story that's longer than 5 to 10 minutes on RUclips and you clearly know your stuff!

Dude, Seanie B! Thanks for this. I just had a flash back or sideways randomly looking for your old channel. Well done, and many thanks for the work you did with this and all those episodes another life ago.
Haha, I came back to check and Seanie you made the recap. Excellent! Thanks so much. You legend! I really enjoyed watching all your recaps, thank you so much.
I watched the whole show one year ago, unspoiled but knowing people hated the ending and adjusting my expectations for it... I _fell in love_ with the show. The ending confused me a bit but after watching videos explaining the purgatory concept, I loved the ending too. Like...I _love_ the ending. I think it's perfect. This show will forever have a special place in my heart, and I'll certainly be rewatching it in the future. It's rare I stay loyal to a show for more than a season, let alone six long seasons. The characters are astoundingly complex and relatable. My favorites have to be Kate, Desmond, Charlie, and Ben, but I adore them all. Also, Ana Lucia deserved better. Apparently no one cared about her or even hated her but she was my favorite character for a while and I'll always be upset at her death.
Love that Jenny and I totally agree with everything you said! Such a special show :) Ana Lucia did deserve better, and I forget if her death was because the actress was moving on to movies, sucks when that happens :(
LOST is the first ever show I binge watched on Netflix as a 17 year old. I remember always looking forward to a new episode and just feeling incredibly sad when it ended. Back then I did see the man in black as pure evil but rewatching now, ten years later… I feel like you in that he really just wanted to leave the island and live his life. He knew the truth and Jacob didn’t want to see that! this show is so great and will always be one of my favorite. I really wish people talked about it more…
Amazingly well put together video my friend! Hats off! On another note: People have consistently gotten this wrong for over 10 years, MIB IS NOT THE SMOKE MONSTER, THE SMOKE MONSTER IS MIB. MIB IS DEAD. He didn't get transformed. We were never told what it exactly is but it is not and has never been a person first. To be fair, I thought it was pretty clear in the show, until I thought back to when I myself was calling Locke MIB instead of the smoke monster, but that's literally what it is. I think the show runners confused us because the first time we see Jacob and his brother, we take the brother for who he is at face value at the time because we don't know his backstory and how it's really the smoke monster telling Jacob it wants to kill him. After "Across The Sea", everything before makes way more sense, and even explains Jacobs demeanor during that introductory scene. Brilliant show! But still we're all wrong when we call fake Locke MIB. It's the smoke monster.
@@AndreRay1127 That's his body... what about his spirit? ;) Mother said it's a fate worse than death. MiB said that Jacob took his body. Mother made the rule that they can't kill each other. If the MiB wouldn't be Jacob's brother, he should just be able to kill him himself.
Incredible job!! This will always be one of my favorite shows and this recap was all the feels! I can tell how much work you put into it - it was worth the wait!
I wasn't expecting that at the end at all.. and I can't even begin to describe how emotional it made me. LOST was the only show that had ever brought me to tears, and it did so on multiple occasions. I've been, in a way, obsessed with it ever since I started watching a few months ago. I finished it a while back and there hasn't been a day since that I haven't thought about it. All the characters, all the messages, all the wonderful scenes and beautiful motifs and just absolutely everything in this show in general... it was so memorable. I can honestly say it's changed me as a person. I've tried to be a more kind like Jack, more brave like Kate, wise like John, philosophical and analytical like Ben, caring like Claire and Charlie, a good leader like Sayid... this show taught me so much about life and about myself. Seeing those memories in that case was beautiful and it really brought me close to tears, which hasn't happened since I finished the last episode of the show in which I sobbed like a newborn baby. Thank you. I never knew about your channel until now - hearing there is more LOST content had sparked my interest!! Thank you so much for creating this wonderful piece of work, and I hope you have a lovely day!
not blaming u, it was quite convoluted. but i had liked it, i would be like 20 or so when it came out. although a lot of stuff might have been put there as filler to give it more seasons, it was mind blowing stuff.
I'm really glad you decided to do this. I used to watch your videos as soon as they pop up, they were so awesome and really explained much of the show's mysteries.
Recently rewatched the series and remembered your great recaps. The first thing i did the was look for your final recap... Couldn't belive it never happened. THEN BOOM the announcement was made. You definitely made up for the wait! Honestly great edits and cuts i was laughing or crying the whole time. Amazing series amazing recap! Thank you Seanie b, welcome back!!!
Thanks so much Blu! So glad you watched my old videos too back in the day :D Really means the world that you watched them and liked this film and watched the whole thing!
Ohhhh man, I am so happy after seeing this. You brought back so many good memories. I remember watching your recaps after every episode. For me this is by far the best series ever and I am glad that you made this final recap. Now I have no choice but to watch it all over again and I am looking forward to it. Thank you once more.
Seanie B - Dude, this was such an amazing video. You've re-ignited my interest and love for LOST. And, best part, you've changed my understanding of the ending and really made me appreciate how good this show was. THANK YOU!
This was honestly well worth the wait and loved every second of it (which meant i noticed all the subliminal flashes too!), so thanks again SeanieB for bringing us this final recap, as it also brought us all back together with the show, to remember. You were part of my Lost journey when it aired, as I'd watch your videos with just as much concentration straight after the episodes 😀. Brilliant work with the editing, flow, recap and also the scenes you would perfectly fit into various parts during this video. I also learnt a few things i didn't know! I seriously got so many goosebump moments whilst watching this, and your summary of the show at the end is the perfect reason why to this day, Lost its still my favourite series of all time, and there will never be anything quite like it. I also wanted to mention one thing which made the show what it was, and brought out all those emotions, and that was the absolutely stunning music from Micheal Giacchino! I can't wait to rewatch the show again now and look forward to your future Lost content. As an end thought, does anyone else feel they could have done more with Mr Eko, as he was such an interesting character (although his conflict with Locke took away from the Jack / Locke dynamic a little)?
Thank you for making this video! LOST has a special place in my heart and it will always mean so much. I’m happy I can go back to it and feel everything all over again. ❤️ see you in another life
This was such a fantastic video! To this day, it baffles me that so many people still believe they were dead the whole time. Your experience with the final episode is incredibly similar to mine. When I first watched it live, I was not a fan. For me it wasn't about not getting enough answers - it was simply because the explanation of the flash sideways was not at all what I was expecting. And I didn't understand it enough yet. But I went back and re-watched the series, and re-watched the final season, now knowing what was really going on. And after finishing the last episode again, I didn't just like it - I loved it. I loved it because it was a kind of way for these characters who suffered so much to have some sort of happy ending, while not taking away or diminishing what really happened to them on the island. Eventually, it even became my favorite episode. About 9 years ago, I learned to play the full 8 minute closing music from the show, "Moving On", on the keyboard. I recorded it and put it up on RUclips. (After so many years, I've long since forgotten how to play it. But at least I have it recorded.) A few years later, I created a two part, full length "music level" in the game Super Mario Maker of the same piece of music - which I also put up on RUclips. (When I remade it for Mario Maker 2, years later, I uploaded it with still shots of the entire scene that accompanies it in the show.) So yeah, I definitely like it. Back in December 2010 (only 7 months after the finale aired, coincidentally), I went through an extremely trying situation. Without going into specifics, I was feeling great distress over an unchangeable situation in my life. But despite my repeated efforts to explain to my family what was really going on, no one would believe me. So I felt like I understood the plight of John Locke well - the frustration of *knowing* something important, but having no one believe you. (Many years later, all of them did come to see that I was right when they finally saw it for themselves. So, again like Locke, they eventually realized I was right - but far too late for it to help me in any way.) And on the topic of "constants": When I was at my lowest, most desperate point, memories of and a hope regarding someone very special to me (whom I had grown up with before having to go separate ways) were returned to me. Even though I still wasn't yet able to have her in my life in any tangible way, just the returned memories of, feelings for, and hope of someday getting the chance to be with her pulled me out of that despair - and has been the primary driving force in my ability to endure the still-present trying situation during all the years since then (14 as of now, in December 2024). After feeling like I'd lost my connection to the ones actually in my life, she (though still *not* physically in my life) was the connection I needed - a reminder that someone whom I cared deeply about and who long ago made me feel good about myself still existed in the same world as me. And boy, if that's not a constant, I don't know what is. :-) Edit: Thinking back to that time, it was only after I was able to get her phone number and call her, at least leaving a message, that my mind was finally able to rest, have a measure of peace - because I was finally able to tell her what I'd never had the chance to tell her before. And then even more so a few days later, when I was actually able to talk to her over the phone and tell her again. Funny how similar it was to the end of The Constant, I now realize. So you're definitely right that we all have constants in our lives, relationships that help us get through the hardest times.
What a year 2020 has been, I used to watch your videos back in the day, nice to see you doing well. The part about your father hit close to home, my father in-law passed away nearly 2 years ago also due to a brain tumour so I feel your pain and loss. All the best.
I watched Lost during its original live broadcast run. Now my girlfriend and I are watching the series, and it’s the first time for her. It’s amazing to share my favorite TV show ever with her and witness her first reactions to everything. Thanks for this great recap.
I greatly appreciate all the time you put into this video, and all the time it must have taken editing in detail and producing nearly two hours of content. I really, really appreciate that there aren't mid-roll video advertisements all over this. Thank you, thank you!
Really appreciate it Robert and thanks for watching it! Decided to add just a few ads in this video, even though I could have made a little more money, I feel like it would have taken away from the viewing experience, and that was most important to me!
Oppss you did it finally!!! I waited this many years. You just dissapeared like a ghost at that time. To watch this final recap I need to rewatch all the seasons again. I was graduate student at that time. Time flies very fast...
Just finished watching the show for a second time 11 years later and enjoyed it much more! Totally agree with everything you said at the end. Thanks for making this video it was excellent 👌
Thank you EVERYONE for your patience, love, and encouragement. What a journey it has been! I love hearing from you and will try to respond to every single person here!

Thank you!
Can we put this to rest? Or is there still more unanswered question we still need more counselling on lol.

My husband and I used to watch it every week. He died before the last season and I would tell him after every show what had happened. But after the final episode, I was crying so much that couldn't recap it to him for days!

God bless..hope you are doing well.❤👍🏾
They where all lost, they had lost they’re families, when every person dies it signifies that they are not lost anymore and they found they’re family. This show touched me in a way I can't explain. It was beautiful to me.
Totally the same!
Agree, it will never be the same

Crazy that a show that ended 10 years ago still is relevant in our lives.
Many of your favourite movies are probably older than that
@@busTedOaS Yes but not relevant, not still learning about it 10 years after.
So true Lo!
I feel the same way Thajilah! Crazy, right? :D
Me after finishing this almost 2 hour video. “ We’re gonna need to watch this again”
HAHA love it! thanks so much for watching it Silver!

WE HAVE TO GO BACK!
Juliet's "It worked" at the vending machine is also what she wanted to tell Sawyer right before she died. James made Miles get the message from her after they buried her.
Wow. That was a trip. Beautiful ending.
They were all lost. But they found each other.
Thanks Dream!!!
Totally agree with EVERYTHING you said!!!
I loved them all...Josh Holloway and Jorge Garcia were my favorite
This show always had the most profound emotional impact in my life. It taught me that we’re all special in ways we don’t even realize and how important that makes us to each other.
Thank you for making this man, it took me down memory lane and helped me remember how much i loved this show. If there is any other show I’d recommend, it’s DEFINITELY “Dark” on Netflix. It approaches its story with the same importance to its characters and it is the best science fiction series I’ve ever seen so far.
May the Force be with you, always.
Loved reading that heroes! I totally agree with that sentiment :) And thanks for the recommendation, I need to watch it!
Second that heroes as a lost fan dark is brilliant but the German sub with subtitles not the terrible American English dub it’s the worst
The show really impacted me too. I now think more about life in a philosophical way which make me hate this world. World needs people like Hurley.
grow a pair!!!

I understand that the producers said that the show has completely run its course but a miniseries covering Ben Hurley and Walt on the island would literally be the best thing that's ever happened.
Would be awesome if they did that Evan!
Person Of Interest is a sequel to the Hurley & Ben show -- when Ben goes out into the world of the flash sideways, he changes his name to Harold Finch.

"You disrespect Locke's MEMORY by wearing his FACE." Still the best line in fiction today.
Very true, oops! Still love that line so much!
On Amazon (UK), they’ve edited this line out, along with the scene with Hurley and Ben outside the church. I have no idea why but I’d love to know the thinking behind omitting such pivotal scenes.
Chris O'Toole Does it say why somewhere?
Ryan N. Can’t find anything that explains it. Weird to cut two pivotal scenes without explanation. I feel like both of the cut scenes were pretty important.
In *all* of fiction? Wow.
This show was so important to me, and you did it the greatest honor with this creation.
Thanks so much Kat, really means a ton!
Those edits alone deserve an Oscar. Great video man
Wow, thanks Nik! Really appreciate it man :D
Tv hasn't been the same for me since this
Yes, yes, yes.
Totally agree Azra, it's so good!
I'm about to rewatch after about 4 or 5 years and I'm so excited, I have a bad memory and I'm hoping parts of it will feel fresh again like the first time I saw it!!
@@alim.9801 I'm aboout to go rewatch again now and i hope you enjoy it

JIN AND SUN IS ONE OF THE GREATEST MOST COMPLEX LOVE STORIES ON TELEVISION OF ALL TIME AND THEIR FINAL SCENE IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL/HEARTBREAKING.

I think Desmond and penny was the most intense

Haha Whitnie, but I’m really happy to hear that :) Loved reading your thoughts, thanks for giving that to me!!!
SimplyWhitnie -I felt the same way about i now appreciate the show/ending in a whole new way.

The island is the sign of lost and in the end is a sign of finding the family they where lost with. That’s what made the best finale show of all time. They where never lost in a island, they where lost real in life, the island is metaphorical being stuck of they’re struggles in life. Death in the island metaphorical means they’re not lost no more.
The transformation of Jack was probably the most important thing for me in the series. It's what propelled Jack in my top 10 characters of Lost

Yep, I actually didn't really like Jack for the first 5 seasons, but season 6 he turned it around 100%. Absolutely legendary, and a believable transformation.

Missed opportunity for me, I wish the death of the MIB went down like this:
MIB: it's too late Jack, you cant stop it....
Jack: dont tell me what I cant do.
*kicks him off the cliff*
The final transformation of Jack into Locke
Hahaha definitely a missed opportunity 😂🤣
That would’ve made it better

@@samadams84 for real? Or you suppose? Sounds about right though, I doubt he had love for the story, so only a handsome check would've convinced him.
@@coldsilence2 yeah its true
Such an underappreciated and misunderstood show. Lost count of the amount of times I've heard "stupid show, they were all just dead"
Ex Machina
Lost for me is the best, the ultimate, the holy grail example of how to use it as a get-out-of-jail card when you don't know how to end your saga of a story.
@@MrFeupinha I still say season 6 was a massive disappointment. Not sure it's worth the binge. But I love the show anyway.
Lost is the best storytelling I have ever seen in any show
Agreed :)
Go and watch Dark. ;-)
@@Nikioko Dark is amazing! Best mindfuck journey that I can barely act I understand.
Show just kept piling up questions while giving zero to none answers. That's JJ Abrams signature btw, which also ruined Star Wars.
Good point, I bet they filmed that but didn't have the time to add it, although they should have!
same with, Sawyer and Kate or Sawyer and Sayid
They have all of eternity to catch up.
They did interact, it just wasn't shown. We see the church scene through Jack's perspective.
@@dominicgunderson If we didn't see it how do we know it happened? I can imagine anything happened. It's not the same as actually seeing it portrayed. I could skip watching the whole show and just imagine stuff happening.
That guy really made a video 10 years after he went silent on RUclips?
THANK YOU MAN ! THANK YOU! You brought me joy and your passage on earth influenced mine !
Let’s all just take a moment and appreciate the work Seane B put in to create this 2 hour long masterpiece! 👏👏👏
They where all lost, they had lost they’re families, when every person dies it signifies that they are not lost anymore and they found they’re family. The island is the sign of lost and in the end is a sign of finding the family they where lost with. That’s what made the best finale show of all time. They where never lost in a island, they where lost real in life, the island is metaphorical being stuck of they’re struggles in life. Death in the island metaphorical means they’re not lost no more.
I cant believe i watch this 10 years later. Thank you Sean for this. You all everybody!
Haha love it, thanks so much Mrtvi!
Well done, Seanie. You've created something that embodies the spirit of LOST. See ya' in this life!
Thank you, really means a lot! Haha love that :)
This is absolutely incredible. Makes me want to watch the show all over again. Great video Sean!
Appreciate it LT17! Definitely do watch it again :D
Seanie B I started that day. Onto S1 Ep12 😀
This is the best video I’ve ever seen. It checked all the boxes. Amazing recap, analysis, and tribute to my favorite show ever made. Thank you so much for making this! I’ll see you in another life, brother
Never watched lost and was always confused by this , watched this and now I’m gonna watch the whole series. Thank you man
Great job Seanie B, to me Lost is the best series of all times, it was 10 years ago and will always be, nothing gets even close. Thanks for the final recap. Who cares what made you do it 10 years later. "Everything happens for a reason" 😉👍🏻
Thanks so much Jose, and I appreciate you sticking with me and being loyal :)
Ten long years. Welcome back, Seanie.
Thank you Paul, so happy to FINALLY deliver :)
Really appreciate it Romiks! So cool to read all of that :) Wish I had kept up with TV recaps as it took off, back in the day just made them for fun!
My favorite part of the whole series is when Hurley is getting drilled by Dr. Chang and is like "okay dude were from the future"
I totally agree, literally LOL'ed :D

That is so awesome to hear A I ! I can't wait to do that with my kids someday :) Let me know when you watch this whole video!
Rest in peace Locke! I'll see you in another life brother!
I've been alive for 30 years and that Google maps thing was the craziest shit I have ever seen. Duuuuude!

What happened to your follow up videos? It's been over a year
I’m on my fifth watch-through of Lost right now and I decided to just search Seanie B on a whim today.... you don’t understand the amount of happiness it brings me to see that this video is HERE!!! Well done Sean, and I’m so excited you’re back!
What an awesome coincidence! Thank you so much Guy :) New LOST content coming in Dec.!
Thanks so much Natalia :) And LOLOL so true, that's what it could boil down too ! :D
Beautiful...absolutely beautiful!
The love, care attention and detail that went into this was amazing! I was a huge fan of Lost, and this video has made me appreciate it even more. I am genuinely thankful to you for taking the time to make this.

Thank you so much MrAraag and sorry for the long delay! More content coming soon :)
Thank you! I really enjoyed LOST. I will watch again.

Billiam just started a deep dive on it on his channel. First seasons analysis is 3 hours long.
@@megatamerernie513 he's just done a 6 hour video on seasons 2 and 3, plus additional focus points. It's brilliant and the great thing is, still seasons 4, 5 and 6 to come.
@@megatamerernie513 I'm sorry but billiam while being a great guy and he's quite funny... When it comes to the nuances and lore and mythology of the show he's not very knowledgeable at all. He knows more about the celebrity/drama/writers strike/cast problems than the actual story

Such a special show :) Ana Lucia did deserve better, and I forget if her death was because the actress was moving on to movies, sucks when that happens :(
That was EPIC! Thank you so much for answering so many of my questions!
No problem dazraf and thanks so much for watching it!
I really wish people talked about it more…
This entire video is exactly why Lost is the best show hands down. Well done 👍🏼
Thanks so much taylor, really appreciate that :D
Amazingly well put together video my friend! Hats off!
On another note:
People have consistently gotten this wrong for over 10 years, MIB IS NOT THE SMOKE MONSTER, THE SMOKE MONSTER IS MIB.
"MIB IS DEAD" how do you know?
@@kuhpunkt Because his dead body washed up after he was thrown into the source. Jacob put him to rest with his mother.
@@AndreRay1127 That's his body... what about his spirit? ;)
Mother said it's a fate worse than death.
MiB said that Jacob took his body.
Mother made the rule that they can't kill each other. If the MiB wouldn't be Jacob's brother, he should just be able to kill him himself.
@@kuhpunkt Fair point. I forgot he said that. "He took my body. My humanity."

Really appreciate that Laurie :) Thanks so much for watching the whole film!
I used to hate this show. Now I think I was a dumb 10 year old who couldn’t follow the plot line. You just gained a subscriber sir.
not blaming u, it was quite convoluted. but i had liked it, i would be like 20 or so when it came out. although a lot of stuff might have been put there as filler to give it more seasons, it was mind blowing stuff.
same for me, but now i'm 29 and still can't completely. 1:41:14
Biggest issue I think is the time between seasons and epsisode's. If you binge it, it is easier to follow

Seanie B - Dude, this was such an amazing video. You've re-ignited my interest and love for LOST. And, best part, you've changed my understanding of the ending and really made me appreciate how good this show was. THANK YOU!
Love hearing that Wiki! Thanks so much for watching it :)
Really appreciate your comments Chirag :) Loved reading that! Totally agree about the music too, goosebumps!
Thanks so much Stephen! And really sorry to hear about your father-in-law, I definitely know how excruciating that probably was for you :(
This is the video that I didn’t know I needed! Cleared up so much stuff!
So glad to hear that Dani! Thanks for watching the whole film :)
This show changed my life in a way nothing has ever before.
