Nah it wasn't very good, it was super obvious they were making it up as they went along, its a mystery show but all of the mysteries had horrible reveals, a lot of the original characters changed and majority of the new characters sucked. a show like breaking bad is so much better
It started off good and got worse after season 2. Then season 4 was good again, but it should have ended then. Season 5 and 6 turned into a magic show and Jack's character development made mo sense.

I thought the ending of LOST was pretty great actually (by ending I mean the whole last season), but you had to understand it or at least try to understand it and make up your own version of what it all meant. It seems to me a lot of people here say the end was crap just because they read it on the internet or someone told them so.
Yeah people need to actually think about it rather than hate something because you're confused by it!

I just finished the show yesterday and I don't get why people were unsatisfied with the finale. I think it's heartbreakingly perfect. It just fit, I've never experienced a finale like it. I seriously don't get all the negative talk about it.
@@Lifeofpablo1230 everyone dies eventually. The story of the island ends after man in Black is killed and Jack sees the plane taking off. The rest is the souls of everyone reuniting in a place where time doesn't matter, and they move on together.

Never seen a show like LOST and probably never will. It's a masterpiece of TV series.
These were so creative and the best. Jin parking the van in the Sopranos ending is hilarious. Nothing compares to the Newhart ending. Even here it is still the best ending in televison. They matched the set exactly.
Best series I’ve ever seen. I know it’s not flawless and eventually plotholes and story lines got convoluted but it Was enthralling. So captivating. Not only the crazy mysteries and stories but the characters were perfect.

Some of my friends asked the hardest question about this series. What is it about? I mean it's impossible to say without spoiling or use a good 10 minutes explaining. First it was about getting of the island but it developed in to something crazy beyond season 5.

Lost didn't pave the way for Television heck it didn't pave the way for anything.The Sopranos is the most influential show ever,all of the TV shows that came after it were inspired by it's brilliance.The Sopranos paved the way for what a tv show could be.Without The Sopranos The Wire,Breaking Bad(and BCS),Mad Men and countless other tv shows wouldn't exist.Lost was a good show but it wasn't groundbreaking in any way.A lot of stuff that Lost did was taken from The Sopranos for example Anti-Hero main characters and the whole idea of an entire episode focused on one or two characters,which Lost did a lot and a lot of the episodes were totally redundant.

LOST was one of the 3 best shows on at that time. The other two being Heroes and Prison Break.
Lost is for me what Star Wars was for people in 1977. I just love it. It taught me people are two kinds: a person of science or a person of faith. Even the finale proves that...if you hated it, you're a person of science who tries to find a logical explanation for everything... if you loved it, you're a person of faith.
If you loved it you're an idiot who would probably be entertained by someone jingling their keys in front of your face.

Most people don’t understand Lost because they didn’t watch it properly, not paying close enough attention. It’s so annoying - the way they don’t understand the most important and deep plot points.
It truly was a show that could only be fully appreciated if you watched it live when it originally came out.
It’s totally a bingeable series, but if it’s your first time seeing it, it doesn’t have the same impact the old school way of waiting week to week. Being a LOST fan was something different, something totally special.. it just added to the experience of it all. No show will ever be quite the same or do what LOST did quite as good as it did it.
The ending is weird but it's better than HIMYM and Gossip Girl

Lost was supposed to conclude after 3 seasons... but got prolonged because of ABC's greed. TV Series are like boxers, they turn sour if they don't retire soon enough. Still Lost is an extraordinary experience and a stunning ending

Ironically, when LOST first aired, I avoided watching until episode 10 ("Raised by Another") because I thought it was just going to be another Survivor ripoff. I'm glad I gave it a second chance.

LOST was truly the greatest TV show that has ever been created. It made me think in many ways that i had'nt done before. It was (over the past 6 years) the only thing i used to watch on TV, i really cant believe its over. if i could turn back time to before i started watching it. i definently would watch it all over again!! Thumbs up for the complete collection!!!!! =]

all that they have existed for and all all that they have sacrificed for became the acclamation of what lost fans wanted the most, what benefited the characters they have known and loved for years, a simplistic yet very intricate feeling of a supreme closure, an ultimate oneness, the only happy ending that would truly Be sufficient enough to move on.

The ending wasn't bad, it's just that not enough mysteries were explained leading up to the end that is the disappointment. Also a lot of the answers are hidden in the show, they want you to figure it out yourself. From what I gather: the light inside the island was like a small star made of similar energy to the sun and is the source of all electromagnetism but it has a consciousness, the light became corrupt by evil, so it needed someone to kill the smoke man so it could be healed.

What the **** were you expecting. You wanted illogical answers to illogical mysteries. They already stated the end was planned out for a while now. This show was meant for us to interpret. Who gives a shit why the source made MIB turn into smoke and not Jack or Desmond. By the end, you realize it was all meant for us to put together and that the show was never about that. Just them leading their fates into something great which they portrayed amazingly imo

Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse DID NOT know how it would end (just saying).... Many of the writers actually came out and said what was going on in their writers rooms... I wont go into what was going on, but it was hell, unprofessional, and hostile... 9 times out of 10 Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse didn't even know the content of the current episodes let alone future ones.

I really loved "Lost". What a great show from beginning to end. Hopefully I can see the actors/actresses on other shows and making something of there careers. I'd have to say Hurley was my favorite because he's awesome. You can't say 'no' to a fat guy who buys a chicken business and continues to eat at his own fast food business to relieve stress.

The light also controls time and fate, but mostly it was the only thing generating positive energy into the world, if it ever was destroyed all of the good inside people would die and the darkness would take over. Basically the island was the balance between light and dark. It's hinted that at some point a human entered the pool of light and became fused with the island, that's why it has an intelligence, able to communicate with people through dreams and hallucinations. I could be wrong though.

The plane crashed because Desmond didn't push the button soon enough. The island is kind of weird to explain, other than it's electromagnetic properties, the flash sideways were purgatory for the characters after they eventually died, like a waiting room for heaven.

Don't give be this crap about a perfect ending. People can talk themselves into finding great substance in contemplating their own naval lint.
The end sucked. Face it. It was very irresponsible. The show could have made history and been a benchmark. Instead, it was "sorta great, except for the conclusion. Worth watching once." And it's really true. So much that mattered the first time, is irrelevant thereafter because half the plot is just a tease with no point. What an abysmal failure
@thewewguy8t88 We don't get whatever show this is over here in the UK, or not that i'm aware of, if infact it did get hyped up on maybe adverts saying that they're going to show alternate endings I could see why that would annoy you being a Lost fan, but I don't think it's something to get angry about. Lost didn't need any alternate endings, the way that it ended cleared everything up while still leaving some mystery like it's supposed too.
@Damon242 I have an apple and an orange. I decide to eat the apple. I don't really care about oranges. They're very meh. I could do without there being oranges in the world. But I spend several days arguing with someone I don't know in favor of how awesome oranges are, even though I don't really like them. I do so because some of my friends love oranges and I want to fit in, and don't trust my own taste enough to argue the merits of why I prefer apples to oranges.
