As someone who had a teacher tell me in my teen years not to consider being an artist, I get really touchy when it comes to judging art. We want to be super careful as parents to not judge our own art and to not judge our children’s. It’s ok of course to evaluate it and work on making it better, always, but stead clear of judging it whenever possible!
