I can not begin to describe with words how awe insipring this composition is. What a truly epic recreation of a vision in his mind coming to life. This is a veritable master class in the design, layout, and creation of a slab landscape. Thank you for filming this bonsai master create his vision. I am truly grateful you guys keep putting out amazing bonsai content.
Beautiful composition! Thank you for explaining it in so much detail! Having attended several classes at Mr. Klein's bonsai garden, I can honestly say he is one of the best teachers there is. No ego, very supportive, open minded and armed with horticultural knowledge. Cheers
Feels like watching a movie..... the excitement and surprises result slowly building up from start to finish a❤😊. I'd like to see the updates in the near future. Thanks for showing this forest/coastal style of bonsai.. you're definitely right it's like an artist doing his craft. 👍
Incredible creation. Forests are my latest obsession. This video was very inspiring... Winter is coming, getting ready to collect a few beech trees up on the Apennines here in NW Tuscany...
Was already planning of doing a forest planting here soon but this gave me plenty of ideas.. one question why not polish the rock on the area intended to look wet? In combination with oil? It would alow for a more permanent effect and reduce maintenance requirements for the stone i think...
Lots of super helpful information in here thank you. Just one question please, is Kato a cement or clay or polymer? I seem to be finding various things it could be but not anything like what you seemed to use. Is it a brand? Would love to know what it is you used with the sphagnum moss for the dyke. Thanks
It could be 3 possible areas #1 under watering or #2 over watering, I had a similar problem with mine years ago I noticed #3 > (high heat of summer can stress out bonsai trees) resulting it's leaf's turning yellow I had to move mine to shaded area with less heat but still gets lots of sunlight, in my experience with bonsai trees the high heat from summer can really stress them out and I always water mine after the sun goes down to help it recover I hope it helps you.
@@jonbasiloni4112 Good suggestions. I always move struggling trees into a "morning sunshine only" zone. Ulmus will like that. They can endure a lot in full sun when healthy and thriving, but give them soft conditions when struggling. Avoid all additional stress by hot direct sun and/or wind so all leaves keep their strenght and next year it will go bonkers. Best of luck
50 minutes of pure excellence! Thank you Bonsai Empire team 👍🏾🇬🇧
Glad you enjoyed it!

One of the best forest creation videos I have seen. I love the rock feature. The wisteria is also beautiful.

One of my favorite style when doing bonsai... Thanks a lot for the new knowledge.
Thinking one word this video truly is: inspirational! Sadly winter is coming and I can not do anything in garden for a while....
Natural looking slope as if it has always existed under the wind, sky, and rain. It's only going to get more settled as it grows!
Beautiful forest, and a great teacher and explainer. Best bonsai video i have seen in a long time🙏👍

Thanks! Its Keto - a Japanese riverbed clay. So basically a clay that we mix with a bit of substrate to create 'organic walls' to retain the soil.
@ thanks heaps for the information. Much appreciated!
❤
Very beautiful! But I think some of the trees are just too good looking to be part of a forest. I would have kept two or three for individual bonsai.😊
Hello, what trees are these?
Fagus crenata - Japanese beech
Maybe someone can help me I have a Chinese elm and the Leaves turning yellow but i do everythink correct
