Aizen gaining "tainted" or a false enlightenment is quite fitting for his character as he is all about deception and illusions. So it makes sense that the enlightenment he gained was not true and more akin to an illusion, staying true to his character.
Love how in the Deicide chapters, Kubo drew some sketches at the end of each chapters. One of them depicts a chrysalis, one of them depicts Aizen coming out of the chrysalis, one of them depicts Aizen and a snake (Gin), one of them depicts the snake got decapitated by Aizen (now a butterfly), one of them depicts a cat (Rangiku) mourning over the snake (Gin), while the butterfly (Aizen) is standing in the background and suddenly a black ray appeared. One of them depicts the butterfly getting destroyed with a crescent moon in the background.

His truly creepy ascension form. It's ironic then that he totally lost all control and was reduced to screaming threats and making delusional assumptions before finally being sealed. It really showed how power can be unpredictable and dangerous especially in the hands of someone as lonely and egomaniacal as him. A double edged sword. Ichigo's honestly somber assessment of him was entirely correct.
I don’t think enough people realize just how OP the Hogyuku made Aizen. It made him so OP that Ichigo had to use Mugetsu/Final Getsugatenshou, a technique that would cost him his shinigami powers, in a fight he was already winning. I think it is cool that what allowed Aizen to reach a true state of transcendence, aka becoming one with his sword, was facing a opponent with equal or even greater power. Shows us that he was indeed right in his decision in regards to assisting Ichigo’s growth, even if he had gotten to full of himself by the time of their battle. If he had not reached that level, they would most likely not have been able to defeat Yhwach.
I feel like the last transformation Aizen underwent, where he gained more eyes, harkens back to the biblical description of Angels. Unlike common belief, the Judeo-Christian depiction of angels is alien and horrific, almost like they crawled out of an H.P. Lovecraft story. And Aizen, in this case, was like a fallen angel in which he wished to be more but instead was thrown down and humiliated.

Why do people assume the first Butterflaizen form is a hollowification and not a quincy "divine form"? Both the chrysalis and butterfly forms have quincy motifs built into their designs. And Quincy are all descendants of the Soul King's son, so why wouldn't a fragment of the Soul King's body be able to bequeath Quincy powers to a soul? Also the butterflaizen form was the first form in which Aizen gained an "eye" not unlike Ywach's transformations. Aizen's demonic transformations were likely the first round of hollow transformations. After all prior to that point he had refused hollowfication, thinking he did not need those baser instincts that define hollows.
Personal headcanon: Aizen is the Soul King's son. If Yhwach is the father of Quincy, Aizen is the father of Shinigami. I know there's no evidence to it but then again, it's my headcanon.
he also has multiple pairs of wings which is symbolic because the seraph with their 6 wings are found around gods throne like that every transformation of aizen has elements that are symbolic in certain religions showing he is getting closer and closer to god(soul king) with each transformation resembling a kind of spiritual enlightenment of some sorts. just look at his last transformation it is like that of the biblical angels

I was wondering if the Hogyoku making like the Soul King? Any chance you could do video on soul king too? I am little confused about him as well
Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard once heard butterflies are associated to death in Japan like skulls are in the west so wouldn't Aizens transformation be becoming absolute death? Like THE reaper instead of a reaper

Another step to his evolution that’s fascinating is the “What If…” form from Bleach Brave Souls 6th anniversary where it gives Aizen fully evolved. Like Ichigo he seems to have fully fused with Kyoka Suigetsu and the Hyogyoku. The design is absolutely amazing with all the mirrors and symbolism with a mirror flower, detached arms, and other design pieces. detached arms, and other design pieces. I don’t think the Hyogyoku gave him a messed up form because it disliked Aizen loosing to Ichigo but rather his mental state deteriorating from ego and denial and causing the evolution to be flawed and rushed. The “What if” design being what a good evolution would’ve led to Overall his evolutions to the messed up and painful hollow-esqu forms is fascinating.
before cacoon form sasuke survived attacks on his own. he was fast enough to escape yamamotos flame, strong enough so getsuga only scratch him. aizen said that himself when he achieved peak of his shinigami power
I hope BLEACH can continue the manga Hell Arc. I also wish for that can get more arcs after Hell Arc. I got some ideas like West Soul Society Arc, Heaven Arc, High Dimensional Being Arc. Wish Kubo could see my ideas : Hell Arc : about go to hell and fight the evil soul reapers and devil clan for saving world peace, and the final boss could be Satan the King of Hell who in charge the whole hell. West Soul Society Arc : about they go to British and crossover with Burn the Witch, and fight the new enemy called hybrid beings. This Hybrid beings are mixed with dragon cell, vampire cell, hollow cell, and zombie cell, created by a mad scientist. Since ESS we have Mayuri, so WSS side has a mad scientist would make sense. Heaven Arc: about to fight angels, archangels, fallen angels from heaven realm. If we have a Soul King in east, maybe there's a Angel King in west. Angel clan characters/enemies coul be Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Lucifer. High Dimensional Being Arc : about they go to 4D or 5D realm to fight the new enemy called higher dimensional beings, and reveal that there's a true God who created Soul King, Hell King, and Angel King.
I think the new brave souls form aizen has is closer to true enlightenment and his shikai is fused with the hogyuku it’s probably a hypothetical form he’d have entered after being defeated by ichigo I also think that form would be way stronger than muken aizen
Thinking about it I think this fight was a let down. All suddenly the final getsuga is one of the most important form to go against Aizen’s final form. The whole Aizen story to me felt so short. All happen in 1 day. I know Ichigo’s went to the realm to trained for years but for Aizen to go down within a hours of transforming to me felt rushed. Idk what they could had done but to me it didn’t feel earned.
That's always kinda been me too. I love the themes on display in this stretch of the story, especially with the hindsight of Ichigo embracing his monstrous side slowly throughout the series and getting closer to an enlightened state os his own. But either as a consequence of the Anime's dismal adaptation rate or just how Kubo told/had to tell this portion of the story, the whole section felt like Both Aizen and Ichigo got crazy powerups out of nowhere and then it was suddenly over.
well. when it was first revealed i thought "what the h*** is that?! why!?" after a few months i settled though, now i think it looks alright. i guess i reacted that way because the form was just so foreign to me.
I disagree with the enlightenment part althoughi believe it plays a factor since Japanese culture does use it. I think the 3rd eye is simply the Hyogyoku's eye. That that final transformation wasn't necessarily something Aizen wanted but what the Hyogyoku forced upon him from his and it's own desire not to be 2nd the a mere human. I think this because Aizen speaks out loud how the Hyogyoku can't seem to accept it either. If this was something that Aizen wanted that line would not have been necessary.
My friend pointed out that when Aizen has that all black face, that his real face was split in the middle and you can see it on either side of his face. Super gross tbh lmao
Someone send this video to ProzD

High Dimensional Being Arc : about they go to 4D or 5D realm to fight the new enemy called higher dimensional beings, and reveal that there's a true God who created Soul King, Hell King, and Angel King.
I pray that they animate it
Whats is it in manga or assumption

I think the new brave souls form aizen has is closer to true enlightenment and his shikai is fused with the hogyuku it’s probably a hypothetical form he’d have entered after being defeated by ichigo I also think that form would be way stronger than muken aizen
Been hearing that ProZD might voice Ywach. Pls tell me it ain't so.
@@SingeScorcher yup true
Could the third eye be a form of the Almighty. Instead of multiple arises in one eye he gets a separate eye because he isn't getting it from soul king
well. when it was first revealed i thought "what the h*** is that?! why!?" after a few months i settled though, now i think it looks alright. i guess i reacted that way because the form was just so foreign to me.
in which episode aizen absorbs hogyoku?
What if kisuke unlocked the hogyoku form without any evil intent
hated how ichigo was so easily able to gain a power beyond aizen
it was to big a power jump that came out of nowear
I disagree with the enlightenment part althoughi believe it plays a factor since Japanese culture does use it. I think the 3rd eye is simply the Hyogyoku's eye. That that final transformation wasn't necessarily something Aizen wanted but what the Hyogyoku forced upon him from his and it's own desire not to be 2nd the a mere human. I think this because Aizen speaks out loud how the Hyogyoku can't seem to accept it either. If this was something that Aizen wanted that line would not have been necessary.
Hugyoku: Imma make you gang orca
10:35 🤣
My friend pointed out that when Aizen has that all black face, that his real face was split in the middle and you can see it on either side of his face. Super gross tbh lmao
thats the most obvious thing about his monster transformation
Oh nahh blud thought ichigo had a hevenly restriction he is NOT toji 😭🙏
