Bhaya Binu Hoyi Na Preet...

भय बिनु होइ न प्रीति | Bhai bin hoye na preet
as they say ,the entity of the ocean existed because if kings of "ikshvaku vansha" ,who were ancestors of lord Raam .
that was not the time like today as we have very individualistic approach but debt of father even after death , delt by the son ,and vice versa ...this was society that offspring in continuty of the existence ,hence with all might and right ,
lord raam kept requesting to give the way to move ahead ,but the arrogent response of the Ocean got lord raam in Little anger .....
this was very literal lifeless explaination of the context of such a profound episode of "Raamcharit Manas" .
this was a poetic attempt to elaborate the event by the kavi of the poem :

बिनय न मानत जलधि जड़ गए तीनि दिन बीति।
बोले राम सकोप तब भय बिनु होइ न प्रीति॥
भावार्थ:-इधर तीन दिन बीत गए, किंतु जड़ समुद्र विनय नहीं मानता। तब श्री रामजी क्रोध सहित बोले- बिना भय के प्रीति नहीं होती.
