Hi Lolritz! First of all, don't ever try to sell anything in the essays. Second of all, impact consulting shouldn't be hard to tell stories about. Compared to traditional consulting, your work is inherently more impactful and meaningful than the average consultant's work! The key is just finding your best story, which is at the intersection of your values, your most difficult life choices, and the actions that best aligned with your values even when they are hard!
