You mentioned HDR was a bit dark, how was performance with Dolby Vision enabled titles?
It's a good performer but as with all projectors they just don't deliver the same range as a TV for instance, wasn't saying it bad just don't expect the same as a decent TV
@@allthingstech Right. Because it's a projector. It's also not a flip book.
Can i get your picture settings?
What widevine level?
Hi enjoyed your video on this ive ordered one with a 100 screen.
What settings do you recommend for sport?
And in your opinion is this projector better than the Vava projector as that was my 1st choice till i was recommended this one.
Thanks K...
Did you order it? how do you like it?
@@alexsenst4912 yea i did and have it its great so far, i was going to get Vava but i was recommended this watched the video on youtube and decided on it, so far its great, good sound & picture is sharp exalent, ive also the vivdstorm screen very important to have right screen for your perfect experience. Great review! What I noticed is that every projector you reviewed, you haven’t mentioned if any of these brand has an overscan? I have an OPTOMA UHZ65UST and the problem is there about a half inch overscan from all the edges and it won’t go away even if the edge are aligned with the screen? Reached out with optoma and no response. Also, my unit is not even a year old and the white spots started showing on the screen….
Did you see the rainbow effect?
3d?
Thank you for a great view!
Can you tell me if the projector's optical system is vulnerable to dust? I had this issue with some projectors in the past and I really want to avoid permanent damage to such an expensive product.
Also, any ideia of its power consumption?
And is it silly to purchase such a beast for a standard living room with no decent projection screen (for now!)?
Thanks again!
Not at all, it's all behind glass
@@allthingstech Yes, but I meant through the ventilation system. Do you think it is possible to go through it? Through the filter?
Would you rate this above the AWOL VISION LTV-2500/3500?
The Formovie has much better contrast but if you have a brighter room it can't match the 3500 in that area.
It's not 15 watt, it's 10 watt as per documentation.
Sob.... I wish I knew about this before I bought my l5g
Does this use DLP technology? If so, single laser or triple laser? Sorry if the video covered it and I missed it but the projector looks interesting but I am also sensitive to ranibow effect (ended up returning my VAVA and VAVA Chroma). Thanks.
Yes it's DLP and a triple laser.
dlp TI chip, 3 laser
Which screen was he using
Looks amazing but unfortunately out of my budget.
I’m fishing in the £1000 to £1500 pond. Are there any projectors worth considering or should I stick with my initial plan of a 55” C2 when prices drop.
I have the LG HU70LA which retails around 1800 usd, but can be found for ~1500 usd (new) to 1200 usd (open box). There are others around 1500 usd, however they use a lamp and not LED like the HU70LA so overtime they will cost more. Also, these are all longer throw projectors, none short throw.
@@PerfectorZY Thanks for the reply. Sounds like it’s OLED for me for the time being. Maybe I can pencil in a short throw projector for my next upgrade in the future.
@@tristanhawkins8699 what are you rocking for sound? I think sound is honestly more important than the video. Watch a part of a movie with no sound and just picture, then listen to it with eyes closed with a good surround sound system. One makes you feel like you are there, there other doesn’t haha!
get a c2 its better for a main im getting this for the living room since i have a c2 in my bedroom and will use the tv more honestly
Hi - the link to the product doesn't work
They gave me the wrong one try this www.formovie.com/pages/cinema-in-your-home-and-office
So are games like call of duty playable? Not like these pro guys who compete, but casual gaming?
Love your UST reviews! I hope you'll get to review the Optoma CinemaX D2+.
I've asked lol!
Can I project to a white Wall?
Absolutely.
Any rainbow effects?
What's the price???
More Info here www.formovie.com/pages/cinema-in-your-home-and-office
$30g's. You can buy a brand new fully loaded rice burner for that amount.
@@IMac8939 That's not right. What the hell are you googleing? $30k even.....
@@Mr.HotRod Haha, $30K is not the price. That is what they have Pre- sold funding they have raised so far from just 12 backers. $2699($3999rrp) is the discounted early backer price for the projector. If you also want it to come with an ALR Screen you will pay early backer discounted price of $3299 instead of $4898
A good detailed review www.projectorscreen.com/blog/ForMovie-Theater-Global-UST-Projector-Review-Fengmi-T1-Global
looks like a a lot of RBE.. can see it at times here...
That's just the camera. You can't see the rbe in person, this reviewer forgot to mention that.
Need the link to work!
