Throughout videos you sometimes sprinkle in a bit more entertaining commentary than some for other games provide.
Just started this game a week ago and these videos are gold. I'm a Gaia enjoyer but sadly she has a bug now and i also struggle building a potent army. Keep up the great work and really love the longer matches(20-30 minutes).

It was the opinions of quite a few that thor was really strong, but just needed players to figure him out since his build order can be so unique. It may be that now players HAVE figured it out at the top tier
I don't know if you're aware, but there's a hotkey for swapping the player sides on the spectator UI; very useful in games like this where Red is on the left side of the map and Blue is on the right. It should be alt+T by default.
He probably saved like 500 resources using the healing, healing is op, greeks got it too with the temple but it heals 1 unit a time and at 10x the speed or something, no one picks Apollo, underworld passage combine with temple, is strong, they also stack I think max of 4
You can flip the teams on top so it is less confusing. ALT+T should do it from hotkeys

What does this have to do with the faction? Greek was greedy and went 2 TC and he paid for it.
every faction can do it, the only difference is that the norse are very good at bringing their production to the frontline quickly since every norse infantry unit is a builder

I lost to a Thor who went ham on throwing axeman and rushed the burnitng pitch tech. I’m sorry but throwing axemen should not get the full powered bonus (x4) against buildings. My Citadel and everything else melted
Ya, it's too much. Don't even need seige equipment. Throwing axemen might be the best archer style unit in the game
@@constipatedsheep6864 I think usually its not too much of an issue since it only comes up in the mythic age, and makes up for how TERRIBLE at killing buildings the other ranged siege option of the norse is, and keeps their forces with a mobility advantage.
Its more of an issue on Thor though since he can get the tech earlier than anybody else... As a thor player myself I love it, but yeah it may be a bit too much especially for an unit the norse are incentivized to make a lot of, siege damage or not sicne they are the best way to use wood as the norse, though as archers axemen have a LOT of issues:
-allowing the enemy to pretty much ignore pierce damage upgrades since Godis are the only pierce damage unit the norse have on land out of buildings and their damage is weak out of hitting myth units that dont benefit from the upgrade anyway
-short range especially at earlier ages
-being vulnerable to both infantry and ranged unit counters, making Eggy axemen spam a real threat to the norse early on since they have bonuses against every human troop the norse have until the cavalry comes out
@@thorveim1174 Fair, I'm not the best at the game so I'm not super knowledgeable on the metas.
@@constipatedsheep6864 for the weaknesses of the pure hack damage, a good thing you can do is play a skirmish againt the norse on titan difficulty, and just ignore shield upgrades (at least until you feel like wrecking thez norse defensive buildings), using the gold and wood for something else
Hard Ra AI performs better than Hard Set AI
Just something I learned today.
Don't trust a small sample size. I had a Hard Hades AI beat a Titan Hades AI once 1v1

Gaia arcus need t be nerfed imo, full arcus can bring down fortified buildings faster than siege lol
