    Can you use remote inputs for the combiners and just have 3 containers, 1 for output and 1 for each of the inputs?

      no, they only work as entrance, the exist is always a sinlge silo

    I likes the series a lot, but also find myself skipping a lot. It’s just not so much fun to watch and there is not that much to optimize. I mean, building space is not really critical. Fewer trains is not helping, power is easy extended. Makings things shorter, less bendy or whatever doesn’t have significant effect. It’s like staying ahead of the tax curve, but basically all it takes is building more and combining more. But what you make, you can’t really use for something. What is the end game? I’d like to see what the rocket does, btw.

      @Turbo999be 5 лет назад

      Building space is a problem when you want to have full efficient factory because distance in your factory means longer time for the claws/crates to move. And on certain maps big lands are really scarse.

  • @JohnMeinel

    The series seems ok. The game itself looks a bit simplistic, though there is another tier of optimization to be done. I would say build new things more optimized but don't necessarily rebuild old ones on camera

    I enjoy your content enormously. I will watch whatever else you decide to do for this game and i’ll be sad if you decide you’re done. Thank you for turning me on to it!

    I like the series, but I'm not sure if the game has enough content to support it. You've almost finished all of the tech upgrades, and after that, what is there? At the rate you're going, I think you would "finish" within the next 2 or 3 episodes.

    I'm enjoying the series and would like to see the remaining technologies and how they're used.

    You do not need the small containers to fill the combinators. Put 2 materials in big tanks, fill each by 1 train, connect those 2 tanks to green/orange. feed combinators with green/orange, output into blue. fill output big tak by blue and fill trains from that.

  • @CouchesnCables

    Personally I think you should complete the science tree and end the series with launching a rocket. Also re-building factories is definitely something you can do off camera, but making new designs and exploring new resources is exciting to watch

  • @Turbo999be
    @Turbo999be 5 лет назад

    In factory with remote connectors you just need 1 container for each ressources. No need to have storage on both sides of the combiner. And you can put remote connectors directly connected to sucker/filler pump.

    I'm enjoying this series a lot! Please continue with it. I don't know if it's just me but I like the tax system and that the game is like a rush to the goal which is getting 45k kg of products shipped. It's simple but not easy and that's my definition of a good game. And btw you could optimize your factories a lot more: there are more colors (three) of the underground pipes you recently unlocked. So if orange is your output why not use the other two for the inputs of your products. You can "suck up" your products from your mine carts directly into the combiner.

    You can use the colored caps not only to collect output from a machine, you can use them to feed materials to a machine.
    Check it out...

    Another great series Nilaus. Had it marked as 'Ignore' on Steam, because it's abandonware. But now it's on my Wish List, as I wait for it to go on sale. Graphics look great, and it doesn't appear too complicated.

    you can using three colours of remote connection on the combiner factory. doesn't effect to your silo. with 7x10 building u can have 10 combiners

    I think a new update came out in early January or something. Can you do some kind of overview of things that are new or changed, please?

    Place 3 containers in the factory and color code them and then just connect each input on the merger with a transfer tube and then a remote connector then connect the output with a transfer tube and a remote connector. No need for the small containers. You can also connect color coded containers with the remote connect to the transfer tube that transfers to and from the mine carts. No need to place the containers near the mine cart track anymore.

    You can at least demonstrate the remaining tech and if large amount of redesigning is needed, you can do that off camera.

    Would be cool to cap the series with a race to rocket launch, but don’t bother if you aren’t feeling it. Seems like this game could already use an expansion pack, not ideal for a couple weeks old.

    Yeah, it‘s a nice one and actually you are the only streamer im following on that game, but the game needs much polishing and maybe you wait for another go. Would be interested to see you going nuts with your OCD on Satisfactory 😉

    You did a great job of showcasing the game. It's a nice game but it doesn't have the replayability of factorio, it doesn't have the atmosphere of darkest dungeon, you're losing interest, well, then you don't have to ask us frankly. Just move on to something you like. Whatever you do, I'll be watching with pleasure.

    Love this series. I would be down to watch every damn step. You're 3 eps-ish from maxing out the tech tree, then you can do a huge teardown and make something clean and great. I keep waiting for you to make a huge 5 input, 12 output factory into 13 rockets blasting every minute. This isn't that deep of a game, you seem at the halfway point of this series if you wanted to fully dominate it. And that would be amazing to see. But that's just me. Probably not worth the effort for the minority.
    I watch you Nilaus for straight lines and perfect set-ups. You inexplicably have the same aesthetic sense as I do in games and it's so satisfying to see someone make something "right". So far you haven't had a chance to settle in and really tame the world; I was waiting for that step. Maybe this game just isn't worth the effort but you're still dragging whatever power poles all over. That usually means you're only in the middle of a series. If you'd keep up with it, soon there'd be a system. I know this game doesn't reward that level of consistency and effort yet, but the challenge is the reward, right?

    I'd be interested in seeing a new series if the devs look at some of the suggested improvements in the future.
    I wouldn't ask you to keep going if you're not enjoying the series, but I've enjoyed what you've showcased so far 😊

    The show case of the game has been good. But I'm starting to wonder about the long term play - you build, rebuild and rebuild again, and then when you hit the end, you just end up doing the same things on a new map. And the tax system is sort of a mess. I understand they are trying to force some speed, but the escalation is somewhat forced.

    I've found it interesting to watch... but don't think I like the game enough to care a whole lot more. I'd watch if you finished to end game, but I doubt I'd watch another series of it.

    I understand your concerns with the gf gameplay.

    they need more then 3 colors for the remote connector good game, but like all games the devs do half ass crap on lots of things
