Here's what they don't tell you....
1. 5 minutes is a kinda fiction if you're even a bit handy it's probably 15 minutes to get it right, it's a very tight spot to tighten these tiny hex screws. Try an hour or 2, if you drop your tool or the tiny hex screws into the skid plate under the radiator
2. Don't work outside in the cold you WILL DROP YOUR SCREWS and what that means is you need to get under your car and remove the skid plate (6 bolts) to get your tool and screws that you dropped. It just so happens that it is the perfect scenario of dropping tools in this tight spot so more than likely you're going to drop the tools into the skid plate.
Installed one for a 2016 cla 250 4matic 2.0T and it sounded good for a couple days now it’s making a noice likes it’s getting stuck or leaking air, going to remove today to inspect and relube or replace the o rings
Mine did the same thing. Perfect for 2 day then sounds like it's leaking or something. Did u figure it out?

Do urs sound like the valve is spitting violently instead of the straight whoosh? Mine can't sound right lol
It did sound weird for like 3 days but the noise eventually went away it’s probably the o rigs expanding or something

Is there a difference between the cla250 in us and Canada? Because the bov spacer won’t fit in my 2016 cla 250 4matic. The bov doesn’t even look like that. Mine is telescopic. It pushes in and out. The bov spacer is too big. Help please.
Hello, I just installed a blow off valve spacer on my A250, but it's throwing a fault code ' turbocharge bypassvalve '
and my car's exhaust isn't crackles anymore until i reset the ECU. Any ideas?

Would you suggest adding gasket maker ?
We do not, with 100s and 100s of these sold and functioning as intended, the included o-rings do the job of sealing the boost without issue.
Is it stock a bypass valve?
And what if I want to install a BOV will it fit??
The stock blowoff valve is fully recirculating. We do not know of any aftermarket BOVs as of now. Thanks.

I noticed that this is open to the bay, does this or can this introduce any contaminants to the engine, or cause issues?
No the factory BPV stays closed, it only opens to vent, meaning forcing air out, so nothing can get sucked in.

Hi is it same fitting and same kit for my b class please? And its been ages trying to find my diverter valve but i cant even find it, i have b200 amg line

Installed mine today ..it works but gives my that kind of flutter whoosh sound, did I install it correctly? Haha
Sometimes that happens to mine when i step on it but get to low rpms, if you’re trying to just hear the sound try it just on the higher rpms
Yes Chris is correct, it is purely a machined alum spacer, there are no moving parts. So it only amplifies the sound your factory by pass valve is making, which, if you are light on the throttle and not in a lot of boost, will not be as strong.

We do not offer a muffler delete, but I have seen a few videos on here of CLA owners that have done it. Check those out and if you like the sound, go for it. Or you can always get one of our CAT back exhaust and do it right :)

moayad alzadjali our BOV Spacer only vents to the atmosphere, giving you that great “whoosh” sound. It does not negatively affect the vehicle. Thanks.

Is there a way to make the cla 250s bov make a flutter sound???
Flutter is typically caused by air passing back through the turbo compressor blades, not an aftermarket BOV/spacer (unless the factory one is recirculating); we do not know of any aftermarket BOVs as of now. Thanks.

No
I just tested mine out and it worked perfectly on my cla250 2015 sounds waaaaay louder
No the factory ECU tunes on speed density, there is no Mass Air Sensor, so none of the typical MAF issues when adding a BOV.
Is this safe on the engine and turbo?
Yes, absolutely, we have hundreds installed on almost all new model Mercedes turbo motors without any issue :)

+yousef wazna Ok, we don't currently have a video of it on the W205, we will look into getting one made, it will take some time. The instruction PDF that you receive with the spacers is very clear. The video was more intended to show how quick of an install it is, so the PDF back up of the instructions is all that is needed. Thanks.
+TurboKits.com yup but the Engines have different looks and different Turbo postion and in the w205 u have to open the intake tube i think to get into the Turbo whenever u post the video i will buy it very fast

Not that we have been able to confirm as there doesn't seem to be the same integrated bypass valve on the newer A250s.

Yes an intake since it opens up a lot of the factory sound baffling will also allow more turbo sounds. The BOV spacer is a great way to get some extra turbo goodness at a much less price and easier install.
