I tested it on 1 min TF on Gold and US30 from 28 june 2021 to 23 july 2021 (4weeks) trading only during define hours so not 24/7 I'll put my result below :
US 30 week 1 : +2% Xauusd week 1 : +7%
US 30 week 2 : +10% Xauusd week 1 : +12%
US 30 week 3 : +2% Xauusd week 1 : -2%
US 30 week 4 : -1% Xauusd week 1 : -9%
Total : +13% Total : +8%
Number of trades 100
40 wins
60 losses
Most losses in a row : 5
Most wins in a row : 5
Total month for 1% risk per trade : +21%
Total month for 2% risk per trade : +42%
Do I really need to say anything else about this strategy ? I don't think so. This dude uploding insane profitable strategy, no excuse available anymore for all unprofitabe trader. Bless this guy and his channel.

Used to trade this year's ago. Mtf mas can make it better. That way you can trade rejections of the 20, 50, and 200 with clear rejections, that way a close is not needed. You have lower timeframe rejection confirmations
Do you think you could try to the same backtesting when you have time, with 50,100 and 150 EMA for 1 min or 5 min time frame ??

Nice, interesting, simple 😉. And I think, with a few small adjustments, 1: 1.5 risk reword, trailing stop loss can reach more GOA, have nice day.
How to you set your trailing stops? 1 atr trail?

That actually just had its last day today, I really didn't give the strategy a fair chance to work because I didn't take enough trades overall. Really its inconclusive but I will make a final video for it and hopefully have more time to trade next time I do the same thing
Great video and explanation as always. Not too brief, not too complex. I was just testing this out now and I like the simplicity, despite the relatively lower win rate compared to others.
What do you think about a straight up rejection of the 20EMA as opposed to needing to close below and then above it for an entry? I've noticed some explosive bounces off just the 20 alone that could be good entries, and just wanted to know your thoughts. Cheers.
Can you test the following? I got a 51% win rate, with great compounding RR in my test, but the more the better!

EMA 9/13/21
3 candle close above/below all ema, open at close of 3rd candle, SL at the lowest BODY of the three, 1.5RR.

With this strategy I would have a much higher TP, say SL X2 TP X4 or more. In a trend TP's can be huge. Better to use last swing high or low and use 20ema as exit.

I'm kinda surprised the win rate is that high (sort of) for that strat but good video, that's a 57% win rate on a 1:1 RR, I guess on the long run it probably won't be all that high but still good for a starter

This also shows how many losses in a row is more realistic if you dont count trades that occur while already in a position! I forgot to note that in the video I believe.
For the mic it is weird, I simply used a different screen recording program and the audio quality instantly increased! Lucky me

I like the videos and like the different strategies but one thing to note about the results is that we are all trading in different timezones their for we will all have different results overall.
100% James, i use the sessions indicator when backtesting so i only take trades in my time zone

Am I correct in assuming your backtesting takes signals at any time through a 24 hour period or do you only take signals during the hours you would realistically trade? I ask because out of hours the movement can be a bit slow on some markets and cause more losses. I've moved my backtesting to only cover the hours I know I can reasonably trade.
Yes you are right. Since viewers are from all over the world I don't choose only my timezone. I recommend for each individual that they do exactly that and focus the times they will realistically be trading!

Can you test Ichimoku cloud or Donchian channel on 5 minute time frame with 200 ema as filter.
I would prefer 1 min!
@@vittorioschiavon2836 one minute gives too many signals. 5 minutes is just right for me and most day traders. It's one of the most preferred time frames.
Yea about what i thout before i see you test it place in the middle, profitable but not so impressive. Rather see you test strategys that your patreon requests and also strategys that you think can take a new 1 place in ranking and also that you count in the time it takes for them to perform that for this strategy for example it took 3 mounth so if you devide it on mounthly basis it is less then 10 percent its like 9. Thank You

@@autocity101 I have been looking at forex for a bit over 1 year, but I'm definitely not good at it. It's up and down. My goal is to find a good trader and combine our knowledges
I might backtest this using 1:1.5 and move SL to BE at .75% in profit. Also I don't like just using swing levels for SL. I like set amounts or like set above below entry. Something measurable. I'll fine tune it and let you know. I'm also working on creating EA's for some of these strats so that way trading actually follows backtesting because it'll run 24/7
Yup yup the atr is always a good alternative to swing H/L. I'm sure this can be improved a decent amount
