We'll never know and that has to eat away at Sabo.
The worst thing is, if he was there with some of the Revolutionary Army, he would probably save Ace. Just from shock of seeing him might cause Ace not to turn back. Or at least stall Akainu long enough for Shanks to arrive.
I really do think crocodile is luffies mom but also part of the revolutionary army, also first time dragon headquarters shown was in the desert . Vivi seems the most important. I think we're going. Back or croc will be super important later. Sand storms and thunder storms
