    Hi there, Liron here!
Today I'll show you how you can fix ANY MISTAKE you make in watercolor, regardless of whether the paint is wet or dry.
The coolest part of this, in my opinion, is the use of opaque paint.
It's a skill I'm currently working on improving - and it's worth it!
I hope this is helpful & encouraging, thank you for watching 😊🙏🏼

Super useful. Watercolour is more flexible than I feared. I'm used to drawing, mixed media and acrylic paint, so I feel timid with watercolour because I believed all the hype. Thank you for the tips!

Indeed - there’s so much this amazing medium can do. Very little is permanent (:

You are a very good teacher and you have science in your art. You could also be a brilliant DOP, or an architect ; combining science and visuals in harmony. I've been watching many of your videos recently, I am a beginner, and I thank you so much ❤️. I've learned a lot from you.

Wonderful!! Thank you! I bought a fabulous big original watercolor painting in Italy. A kid (not mine) took a black marker to it and signed his name LARGE in the bottom left corner. I was devastated. I am now getting the guts to paint over it!! Thank you for the tips!

To lighten a larger area, maybe you can use a large flat brush to lift off a layer?

It’s possible (: But a little challenging to get an even result that way

Yes! opaque paint has its place, but I keep it on a different pallette. When white gouache is too bright/blueish DS Buff Titaneum is a great alternative, haven't tried Jaune Brillant. Yellow ochre is also quite opaque, and not so bright.

Try using Aquaboard. The most forgiving watercolor material I’ve ever used. With a magic eraser you can go back to pure white even once dry.

i agree, dont listen to people that said "dont use opaque paint", most granulating pigment are opaque, most earth tones are opaque, most heavy metal pigment are opaque... plus opacity dont really matter in watercolor because we arent painting with bodied paint like oil paint where you cant turn opaque paint transparent with medium, with watercolor, we can turn any opaque paint into transparent washes by using more water.

100% agree especially with "with watercolor, we can turn any opaque paint into transparent washes by using more water." I think people shun opaque paints because they haven't learned to use them properly. If you use them in the first or last layer they give great depth!
