You hold the key. Everyone needs to learn real critical thinking, apply it, and trust themselves. This involves being open minded but not so much so that you become gullible (comparing and considering all evidence). You will find the answers you seek, it just takes time. Tom is brilliant! Now I don’t know anything about Tom other than his fantastic music. I willing to bet that he’s a believer. I feel like he has a true love for people. In my opinion, he’s honestly trying to help society by making his music. I don’t feel like he intends to be mean, but at the same time has this burning desire to tell people the TRUTH! I love it! It is wild to think about how it's all set up. The American system is a well oiled machine and we all fall into place. Starting at birth we get a number, go to county schools for 12 years, get a job to pay taxes, get a loan from the bank and buy a house, have kids and rinse, wash, repeat. Sad.

You hold the key. Everyone needs to learn real critical thinking, apply it, and trust themselves. This involves being open minded but not so much so that you become gullible (comparing and considering all evidence). You will find the answers you seek, it just takes time. Critical thinking also explains how trusting others' opinions (even experts) without question is a major fallacy; ESPECIALLY when/if they have something to gain from whatever "information" they may be spreading (conflict of interest). These are just some basics of actual critical thinking and they do not teach it in university.
Get as close to the source as possible (time and vicinity) and gather information from those points. The more time and space separating said event, the more diluted scenarios around that event become. We need to take our lessons from history, not theory, if we want a better future for our children.
