I understand what you're saying here but the way I would put it personally is we don't need more Tom macdonalds but we do need more people in general to wake up open their eyes and not be afraid to say what's on their minds and not just say one truth for every five or ten lies just because you're trying not to get cancel culture involved I believe personally that if everyone can handle telling nothing but the gods honest #truth and everyone they speak with is accepting of the truth instead of believing all the lies from the government and media on the daily then we would have a much better overall outlook on the future perspective of the country not just for us but our kids and grandkids and so on but it will take time it's not a overnight fix by any means

I have never heard a song that has made the brain work harder. Most rap music, you just bob your head to the beat, listen to the rapper drop some bars about Coke, Guns and Hoes, but Tom makes you pause the song after every couple of words and really think about what was just said. Like this is educational rap that is really good, and always has a badass beat.

Excellent reaction-video! You were correct about the dark-truths aspect of the story-telling in this music-video, but there's much more to understand about this song and video. "The System" and "The Machine" are companion-songs that tell the same story from two perspectives. "The System" tells the story as expressed by a demonic-figure that character-portrays the system explaining to the masses in the machine that's created by the system how it tricks them into being its victims through promoting division. "The Machine" tells the same story as expressed by an angelic-figure within the machine explaining how the system victimizes the masses, and he gives us a gospel of hope about how to defeat the system by the masses rejecting he system's division and choosing to unite by loving each other. The angelic nature of the character Tom is portraying is revealed as he holds his hands together in prayer with his face toward Heaven as Tom sings the line, "Evil runs the world now like hell ain't got no vacancy".
The songs are two music-chapters combining to tell one music-story. Tom released "The Machine" in an album with no music-video having been made for it. After he wrote and released "The System" as the other half of the music-story, he re-released "The Machine" as a single with a music-video made for it. When you watch the two music-videos in tandem, you gain a greater appreciation for the music-artistry and visual-artistry that Tom and Nova have. Individually, the two artists are incredibly talented; however, when they work as a team they form a gestalt of genius that's greater than the sum of their parts. That's why they've become a popular power-couple in the music world who are putting the music-industry to shame as independent artists that the music-industry can't control.
Tom learned and developed his acting skills as a professional wrestler. In professional-wrestling jargon, in "The System" he's playing the "heel" role, and in "The Machine" he's playing the "baby face" role. He's hardly the first professional wrestler to transfer his acting skill from wrestling to other forms of visual entertainment; however, he's the only one I can think of it who's transferred his multiple talents to both musical-artistry and visual-artistry.
As I've traveled down the rabbit hole of discovering and enjoying Tom's and Nova's artistry, when it comes to Tom I keep remembering the song "Tom Sawyer" by Rush. I think he fits the description in these lines from the song like a glove:

Tom MacDonald is a poet-warrior who strives to change minds and hearts by smashing system-created delusions apart with a logic-hammer that's formed by stacking truths on top of truths. The other side of Tom's coin is that he's a great, big softie when it comes to how much he adores Nova, and it's delightful that she's exactly the same way about how much she loves him. Their love songs to each other, "Gang Gang" & "Ghost", have a level of cuteness that should be declared illegal. 🤣🤣🤣

Good review and a tough one to do! My main takeaway is that it's not an un-patriotic message. Rather, it's highlighting how so many things are coming to a head in these times that it forms an unmistakable pattern. A pattern of destruction and upheaval too pervasive to be orchestrated by one or even a lot of politicians. It's like that book, "A Nefarious Plot".

Long before i ever heard any of Toms songs (and hes my absolute favorite. the ONLY artist i listen to cause regular music is trash) i knew there was something deeply wrong with "THE SYTEM" especially from the side of the media and entertainment. Im 29 yrs old but i watched as the kids around me were growing up and i was able to see how they were damaged due to the entertainments messages to the kids. I also once put on the "clean" rap soundtrack and even though they blocked the Nwords and the curse words, first of all after that there were barely any words left. All you heard was beeping every second. Secondly the rest of the clean words were literally all about Xanax and drugs!! I was so horrified that this is the message being sent to the kids!! I decide then and there that my unborn children will never be allowed to listen to mainstream music. Its just not safe. Religious music only! Thanking God and praising God and all that is much much better for their health and well being!! Same with movies. Horrible! And i dont have to tell you what disney plans on featuring in their future movies.
TV shows are really really monitored and there is a time limit for sure for my now 4 yr old son. After an espisode or 2 were done. Go out and play! I am no dummy and im not going to let THE SYSTEM raise MY children!! I am so cautious about the information thats fed to my family and ya know what? I think one day when theyre part of the .1% of functioning successful adults that arent zombified robots at that point, I'll be thanked.
