Thank you for this video. I am looking at getting mine painted and your detailed breakdown is really going to help.

Wow! So far, this part 1 is amazing! I have to admit I was nervous whilst he took all the parts off etc...lol...but he certainly knows what he's doing. Nice to learn so much about my new (to me) white FW. Thank you.

Greetings vs I realize this video was made a free years ago now, so I hope you may actually see my comment/question. I recently was given a singer FW 221k and while inspecting it I noticed a folded pie e of folded corrugated card board under the motor. Is this normal? If so what is the purpose? If not normal, should I remove the card board. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

Mine has the same thing under the motor. Maybe to prevent the motor from touching the bottom part of the machine would be my guess. If the motor is not lowered all the way to the bottom and doesn't touch you can remove it.

Do you know of anyone in the Twin Cities MN area that services these. Bought one and want to have a complete tuneup

I need to find the upper bobbing winder of one of these machines. I bought one and the disk arrived broken, I wasn't able to glue it because there are pieces missing
