Amazing wonderfully super big city Jakarta clean as Qutside the country .
The China Town at Jakarta is actually along the jl. Hayamwuruk and jl.Gajahmada to the north area.
At Surabaya old town you can see the old buildings (the Dutch colonial) at the west side at the north of the city, the China Town and the Arab Town separated by Kalimas at the east side. It's also interesting to visit for you.

I just came back from Labuan Bajo few days ago. I lived on board for couple nights. It was my first time visit to Komodo. You should try LOB if you visit Labuan Bajo.

I was in Jakarta and Bali years ago.. the place is so beautiful.. but wow so much vehicles motors bikes and it' s like they are in so much hurry like raising on the road with and inches gap on the other vehicles.. it's so scary to drive if you are new in the place. Anyway i miss Indonesia... Nice vlog Dann... Keef safe guys...
The old town area incl china town will be more organized and convenient when the construction of MRT finished couple years later

Honestly when mom shopping in Glodok, we mostly just hang out in Pantjoran Tea House or mall there. Btw. They have new hang out spot with street food. Just walk after mall. Walk a bit. There an alley in left with much red light

The more "elite" chinatown is actually at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) on the north of Jakarta! You should check it out if you're still in Jakarta, there are alot of cool places 💯💯

Bike in kota tua above 9 o clock, it's not a good choice for byanca. It's a bit hot there and busy area too. (If you want to ride a bike in jkt... better in sunday morning from 6 to 8 oclock).
But you found the real history of batavia right?
Compare to bandung...yes... its different weather.
Next go to
1. Bogor by using train from gambir station or cikini station. The wheather is not too hot there.
2. Puncak - bogor (mountain)
3. Semarang - Yogya
4.Bromo- east java
You will love bogor I think... but you need to rent a car for one day trip, if you really want to go to puncak. Rent car for one day is around 300k -400k

Indonesia is famous for its very friendly and smiling people...if you meet people who frown when spoken to believe me it's not that they are not friendly but many of them don't understand English....in Indonesia most people who can't speak English will avoid and shut up.... i quite understand because i am native indonesian🙂🙂🙂🙂

The chinatown unfortunately are nowhere as good as places like Penang or Malaka in terms of building because most of the vintage chinatown shophouse is already replaced by modern shophouse. Personally i do hope that the goverment has a plan to reconstruct and revitalize the chinatown area like they did with Kota Tua
