I also live here. An Expat....my husband is Indonesian. Personally, I like South Jakarta. It has some more space to me. Not alot of high rises where we are, more residential. Our house we built is in a small village feel, and I love eating at the local food stalls, going to the local farmer markets. Enjoy! Maybe we will cross paths..............!I have lived here for 10 years.....and just came moved back from the US.

Cool video I have stopped in Jakarta twice on my way to Bali on the first visit and to Lombok on the second visit. Jakarta was worth visiting for a couple of days on each occasion. The skyscapers were nice especially at night but my favourite place in the city is Masjid Istiqlal in Merdeka Square area close to the cathedral
