You can see that I left out Champagne because that one I dont get why it can't.
For leveling my Amigos, I used Armonia on Isla Santuario. Start at the gas station outside of town, go east to a house (a soldado is normally banging on the door there), from there just go north and kinda west (basically just make your way towards the criptograma chest located in a nearby area, then just go back the way you came. The soldados respawn so quickly that just going back and forth between those two locations respawns them every time. Additionally if you need to do the one to scan the security systems, you can go to Fort Quito, on Isla Santuario (there's a checkpoint not to far with horses you can ride). Run through and have your amigo scan the camera, then run to the corner of the base that is the most south western, and jump off. Normally by then the soldados forgotten about you or there's a boat/jetski you can use to get a good ways away to fast travel and repeat the cycle all over again. Fort Quito is also pretty decent for combat based Amigo challenges. The best part is you visit these locations extremely early in the main story, so they are always accessible.

@Gary Higginson Oluso is the best companion for a stealthy playstyle, and even if you're going in guns blazing, she's one of the best in combat as well. I've had that gorgeous black delete button with spots take out an entire base full of guys while I watched and laughed. She doesn't even just kill enemies, she straight up erases them from existence leaving no bodies behind.
After fully unlocking every amigo ability, this is some of my thoughts on some of the things brought up in this video: Guapo it ok. Something I noted with him is soldados are scared of him. If a soldado is patroling and sees him, they stop in place and keep their distance. but won't attack. You could possibly use this to force soldados to back up, possibly putting them into a place where they can't see you (or you could just outright kill them, either works fine) Chorizo is really good imo, the full heal ability he's got makes prolonged gunfights much easier, definitely saved my ass more than a couple times. It is kinda annoying to proc it since you need to pet him, but it works like a charm. I highly suggest playing around with it for a little bit. Chicharron's Roid Rage ability triggers when under 70% health, which still gives him quite a bit of health to play around with. They do seem to hit the hardest (ignoring when amigos preform finishers, something they all can do). Boom Boom is actually really good if you want to go hunting too, he can tag all nearby animals making tracking them much easier, his tagging ability loses some usefulness if you get a head gear item that lets you tag through walls, but it's still handy. Oluso is really a really good stealth amigo. If you don't wanna constantly change out your amigos based on what you are doing/planning on doing, Oluso serves as a great all around amigo. K-9000 is honestly my least favorite amigo solely because the reason theat when he self destructs, there is a timer that prevents you from resummoning him or any other amigo. Sure he can avoid poison, but if he dies he's gone, where as every other amigo, if they die they can be revived. Also I find when he does explode, it's rarely in a place where it'd be useful and it would kill a max of 2 enemies. Champagne's looting ability doesn't proc very often, it took me several hours to unlock their 3rd ability which requires them to loot 1000 pesos from dead enemies.
@@bendrake1234 The two things can you need to do is to either order him to attack. Sometimes he'd instantly loot them. The other thing is to look out for bodies with a faint glow (meaning they can be looted). Try avoid walking over them because that mean you will loot it instead of Boom Boom. Instead, command Boom Boom over to the body. He should have an animation that looks like he is sniffing the body, after which he'll loot it. If he doesn't loot it after about a minute simply just find a new body that can be looted. A combination of these should be all you need. It can take a little while, but you only need to loot 10 bodies so it isn't too bad (certainly nowhere near as bad as Champagne's looting challenge)
K9 was fucking useless for me. He kept dying and just didn't do anything. Chorizo took me a while to gel, I got the SPAS overclocked and pimped it with buckshot and silencer and it's a one shot death machine, he was amazing on that mission in the church where you have to stealth around the streets for ages. I just sent him in to distract and popped their helmets over and over.
I've found that Champagne loots pesos more often from officers to finish her third ability. I'm still only at about 350 of the 1000 pesos needed. I unlocked all 3 of Oluso's abilities within a few hours. I don't like that peso-lootable enemies are so rare, and it's totally RNG.
Legit Sonic Snarl is an absolute pain to unlock. I feel that it shouldve been 750 instead of 1000. That or at least increase the peso gain from her takedowns.
From reading comments about Oluso it appears to me her abilities have been lessened recently. Got her third level couple days ago. When I send her to take down an area 3 levels below me in difficulty, she gets killed when facing 2-3 enemies.
I thought it was just me. I also have been noticing him going down more often. They must have nerfed him. Meanwhile, they need to fix Champagne with the 1000 Peso issue. I have been farming the hell out of her for a while and all I have is 685/1000. She has become the hardest character to level up out of everybody.
I finally got Champagne at 1000 Pesos so that I could unlock her sonic power. It is just way to time consuming. The developers need to bring it down to 500 Pesos at the most.
You see the thing is people say that guapo is bad but he isnt, even if your pet takes out some enemies you always end up taking out more, pets in this game are used for distraction its not like far cry primal where your pets could solo whole bases and oneshot anything thats why i actually think guapo is the best because he is the best at doing the job that pets are meant to do in this game
Boomer is my favourite I had him and cheese burger as my followers on far cry 5 and just love the fact you can have a dog to help you out cause the human NPC you can have just get in the way of playing stealth cause they shoot first and ask questions later.
My favorite amigos personally are Oluso and Boomer. Now, Boomer's tagging ability is a little useless and I'm gonna explain why. 1. Perception Grenades - These automatically tag nearby enemies depending on where you throw them. 2. The Triador Supremo - It literally gives you the ability to see and tag enemies through fucking walls. What else is there to say?
I dislike oluso mainly because i like going in loud when oluso is more a silent amgio but I love chicharron and as you know he is a chaotic aggressive rooster that's thirst for blood can never be quenched. And don't say oluso can be loud she fucking ass when it comes to being loud not because she sucks but because it's not her style and yes I would know that because I've had oluso something I do argee with you is that the tridor ability is fucking awesome but I still main the healing one were you can pick yourself up after getting downed.
No room for perception grenades when I've got throwing knives flash bang baseball and sticky frag. Triador feels like cheating and if you use the weapon with it it basically is cheating Boom boom is the only immersive way of locating enemies that you can't see
I agree that Boom-Boom and Oluso are the best Amigos though I tend to use Oluso the most as when Boom-Boom is being overwhelmed and goes down it hits me right in the heart, whereas with cats I have zero emotional attachment.
I fell in love with chorizo I’m usually a cat person but that little guy followed me around for most of the game. I especially love how he barks when we jump in my truck. During operations I usually use oluso or champagne. Sometimes chiccaron or guapo honestly I like all of the amigos in the game they are all useful.
How do you use Oluso for stealth? She just charges in and alerts everyone when I am trying to be stealthy. Also, she dies pretty soon, but maybe she hasn't leveled up enough yet?
Really feel like these are a step down than what we are used too… granted they were way too strong before (the boar in new dawn could solo outposts) but the AI on these Amigos are so bad I can hardly get them to kill man, they just get kicked in the face and get set on fire by other resistance npc’s and die
Yoooooo that boar I really love that boar. He destroyed everyone lmao and the dog was cool too just like boomer but I don't really rmr his skills, I do know he was good at killing tho
I think the boar's name was Horatio. He ruled on speed runs like on that aircraft carrier. I parked him in a safe spot while I ran in and grabbed the package, and if I got killed, I would call him to me for a revive and go on to complete the mission.
The best one is the one you start out with the crocodile. He has a healing factor and can self revive though not very fast. Chorizo is definitely the worse. I can see he might be useful for finding a hard to fight collectable but other than that. I used him like once to level him up than not since then
I want my amigo to take care of looting since that's the most boring part of the game. Let me kill everything, just run in and loot for me at the end buddy.
@@Kranzberry2 which ones? Unless I'm mistaken it's boom boom and chorizo right? I'm using boom boom ATM (haven't found chorizo), but I thought chorizo only highlighted. Can he actually loot for me too?

Did anyone else notice that Oluso literally can dominate wild animals? When I was surrounded by 3 krokodiles she sprang into the path and just growled at the krokodiles and they fled the scene.
Oluso is the best, was the 3rd pet i got and cleared a FND zone silently, no alarms and all by herself. I literally just watched how she murders everyone in her sight.

this is first far cry you can ever not kill the dogs, because you can easy run of them, and they aren't so aggressive as before, and in fc5 if you with jess black for sure:)
No doubt the worst ability of them all. Out of the 50 incidences needed of this heal, I have zero. I have been trying to do it too. In a firefight, it is hard to stop and pet your dog . . . especially since the enemies are still shooting at you, and Chorizo is not by your side.
@@RBCharger Call him to a place and pet him, the hits you take will not matter because he will give you the heal us a yellow shield around your health bar, just take a bit uf damage from ANY source, like setting the grass on fiire with the supremo dash ability, activate it and, go in guns blazing
I found Chorizo presence in game insulting and disturbing, it was abusive to see how soldiers shoot and beat the disabled dog. But a few time later it become pleasant to shoot dog abusers, so it's ok. But Chorizo is still the only one amigo who stay non-challenged in my gameplay. I used all compainons to get perks, and switched back to a crokodile, who is most effective.
I have had Champagne get money off corpses, but I think the money drops from dead enemies is set rather low. I've seen her kill about 200 enemies, and her money count to unlock her third ability is at around 30-40 pesos (from 3 guys she killed) out of the 1000 she needs. I also wish they were more precise when they indicate what activity you need to do to get the various tasks done. I think, for example, one of Chirizos' abilities only counts when you are in stealth mode. For the longest time I would send him in and he never clicked a success, then I start staying in stealth and it was like you couldn't stop him. It does become frustrating when you try to get them to gain the experience needed and they just can't seem to advance until you "accidentally" put yourself or them into the exact position and they get a point towards advancing.
Champagne's last ability is a long grind. I've done every companion's abilities within a few hours but Champagne's last ability takes a week or so in my experience. I have 810/1000 pesos. Chicharron is the only other amigo that's taking a bit. He gets downed pretty fast and can't take on more than 2 enemies at a time. I had Oluso summoned while doing Chicharron's missions and all of her abilities were unlocked by the time I finished them lol

What for me it takes a bunch of enemies to take down Oluso she one shots everyone
@@meezed8740 does your 3rd ability work?
@@ultragameronline3917 Like the smoke yea it works
I don’t care how bad he is I will never leave guapo
You see the thing is people say that guapo is bad but he isnt, even if your pet takes out some enemies you always end up taking out more, pets in this game are used for distraction its not like far cry primal where your pets could solo whole bases and oneshot anything thats why i actually think guapo is the best because he is the best at doing the job that pets are meant to do in this game
Also guapo can heal himself and revive himself
Same bruh he is my BOY!!😂😂
Oluso before mist of oku: im to weak
Oluso after mist of oku: *U N L I M I T E D P O W E R ! ! !*
You have a point, but i think boomer is still good
No room for perception grenades when I've got throwing knives flash bang baseball and sticky frag.
Triador feels like cheating and if you use the weapon with it it basically is cheating
Boom boom is the only immersive way of locating enemies that you can't see
I agree that Boom-Boom and Oluso are the best Amigos though I tend to use Oluso the most as when Boom-Boom is being overwhelmed and goes down it hits me right in the heart, whereas with cats I have zero emotional attachment.
BOOM BOOM IS BACK!!! That friggin rooster looks insane.
Why is Boomer placed higher than little sausage? When you are driving a car, you can see Boomer next to you.
I’ve just finished 5, loved it and now just got 6! Can’t wait to play it
How do you use Oluso for stealth?
Farmed the sh!t outta outposts for ethanol just hanging back and sending Horatio in😂 he was a savage💯
For chorizo, if you want the distraction "challenge" hide from a soldier and just continuously sic him on them.
Wow, that place where you get boom boom is identical to the Barron Mill in Far Cry 5 where you get Jess Black
Chorizo is an Eldritch horror
The only bad thing about them is that you can't have two of them. Which is a shame, because I would love to have champagne and oluso together. 😞
It’s mad that hurk, then boom boom are the main characters of the series 😂 😂
and Willis
Boomer made me feel a bit uncomfortable seeing how he just killed everything, oluso is my favorite though, shes amazing
The best one is the one you start out with the crocodile. He has a healing factor and can self revive though not very fast. Chorizo is definitely the worse. I can see he might be useful for finding a hard to fight collectable but other than that. I used him like once to level him up than not since then
Great videos thank you for your help you’ve saved me so much time 👍
I use chorizo and chicaron probably butchered that because they are cute
Boom boom IS boomer if you read the note it says hurk send him here which I find amazing I loved boomer
K-900 also takes no damage from fire!!
Guapo saved me from a shark attack!
My original play through was on ps4 2 years ago .....I'm currently re-playing on ps5 ....it's feels like a completely new game
Ubisoft needs to fix Black Market purchases not showing up in arsenal. Others and I are frustrated with this problem.
Champagne is my favorite. Pretty cat.
And not to mention have you ever sick guapo after a jet ski if the guy slows down enough for guapo to get to him he'll snatch him right off of it
Guapo scarers horses and people around him, he also blocks doors. I
However boom boom fetches resources and tags enemy ,he is my go to.
i saw the rooster attack last night... never laughed so much at a mission in my life!!
I would give chorizo a bit more credit, he doesn’t damage enemy’s, but he can stun them by biting their leg, leaving them vulnerable
I fully upgraded the croc, unlocked the others then ignored them.Only use Oluso.
I want my amigo to take care of looting since that's the most boring part of the game. Let me kill everything, just run in and loot for me at the end buddy.
One of the amigos can get an ability to loot enemies, and another can get an ability to loot materials for you.
@@Kranzberry2 which ones? Unless I'm mistaken it's boom boom and chorizo right? I'm using boom boom ATM (haven't found chorizo), but I thought chorizo only highlighted. Can he actually loot for me too?
Chorizo’s final ability allows him to find materials for you, and Champagne allows her to loot money from dead soldiers.
@@Kranzberry2 I might have to go get chorizo! Thanks
Sure! It takes a bit to unlock his final ability, and I’m not sure how useful it is cuz I haven’t done it yet, but it’s there if that’s something you’re interested in.
On my 2nd playthrough on PS4, after the PS5 Platinum, I got Oluso early. The D5 as well. 'Get them, girl!!'
Did anyone else notice that Oluso literally can dominate wild animals? When I was surrounded by 3 krokodiles she sprang into the path and just growled at the krokodiles and they fled the scene.
Her and guapo can both intimidate wild animals. It does make it hard to hunt with them though. Or atleast with guapo haven't really used her yet.
Oluso is the best, was the 3rd pet i got and cleared a FND zone silently, no alarms and all by herself. I literally just watched how she murders everyone in her sight.
Game is a lot of fun
totally..hard to not play daily
I agree! Worth the cash and wait. Loving it so far. Is the map big enough though? 😛😃
funny fact, boom boom in portuguese it is a sweet way of saying "ass", normally used with kids, so, they named boom boom as "kabuum"
chorizo and the macarena gun are by far the best things about this game for me. hes so cute. and the macarena gun. i cant walk straight without aiming it and listen to the track
Chicharron surprised me a few times. Just couldn't help but say out loud "god damn cheech wtf"
Oluso is op. He can clear a base by himself sometimes, he can clear checkpoint,
I haven't seen the money thing work with Champagne either, which makes it impossible to get the third level ability.
Boom boom is my favorite just because he jumps in the car with me 😂
so after Oluso takes down an enemy and the body disappears, do the stuff they carry also disappear (like money and ammo)?
It’s instantly given to you. I like to use oluso on checkpoints to get the key off the commander.
BOOMBOOM, when sitting in a car, wait before you drive off and he comes sit next to you
idc if guappo isnt the best guappo is guappo and i love guappo
when he said he instead of she when talking about oluso i was screaming LMAO
Not picking on you but I believe its K-9000 like K nine thousand. Love the vids they help a lot. Thank you
Oluso was the last for me to get and by far the best. Chichiron is still my favourite but Oluso is ao useful as a stealth amigo.
How do you use Oluso for stealth? She just charges in and alerts everyone when I am trying to be stealthy. Also, she dies pretty soon, but maybe she hasn't leveled up enough yet?
@@Gigi-fv9ky ifni am crouched and going slow it is pretty easy. I usually approach a location from high and then send her in and she takes them down silently and hides the body.
I like Boom Boom he marks your enemies and loots. Helps me plan my attack before and go in stealthy with a bow.
Chorizo's great. No one wants to hurt little Chorizo! Until...
I went fishing and randomly unlocked k-900 and champagne
Btw the k9000 is an Easter egg to fallout new Vegas
The K9000 cyberdog gun is a weapon in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Old World Blues
this is first far cry you can ever not kill the dogs, because you can easy run of them, and they aren't so aggressive as before, and in fc5 if you with jess black for sure:)
You forgot Chorizos ability to fully and over heal you when you pet him if you are injured
You left out that chorizo can heal you if you pet him but for that you need to unlock his second ability
And he also gives "armor" boost!
Thanks dude
Have all amigos oluso is been my go to ever since i unlocled.him he is a comete beast especially once you level him all way uo he just destroys evwrything in his path
I accidentally dismissed guapo, how do I summon back ? Please tell me somebody
The worst is amigo/guns for hire is K9000. It fucking blows up from too much damage, and then you gotta wait to use it again. And the price tag on its collar annoys the shit out of me.
Chickaron that amigo is so powerful
Oluso, i mean who doesnt love a black panther , coolest animal on the planet!!
Champagne reminds me of Persian using pay-day lol
The Rooster is super sick
I don't know who to like more boom boom or oluso Because oluso was cool but I feel like boom boom's a little more effective in my opinion
Boom Boom killed me by runing through a mine XD
This game does not deserve the hate. I’m having a blast!
Guapo is good in water, keeping sharks and crocs away from you
chiccaron gang where u at
I have a question do you have to go in order
Oluso is a beast killing machine... love at first time...
