i remember phylol back in the day saying that nasus support could be good when his E armor shred got buffed some years ago, im so glad that LS is introducing cool new picks into the meta
I genuinely think that a series of competitive focused videos could help the scene as a whole. Videos about sleeper champions and how to play them, what comps they work with, their counters etc... Videos about drafting mistakes and how to punish them, unique team comps that people may not have considered... Videos about different practice methods.... Not sure if this would be giving away all your secrets, but I think it would at least be interesting to watch.
Most of what he stands by aren't secrets at all. The only reason why the pro-scene is as it is right now is because pros are just unwilling to change. They aren't willing to take in new information, and they aren't willing to use their brain either.
This is exactly the kind of video I'd like to see from LS and I hope we get more. LS has really good ideas about off meta picks and correct builds and whatnot but it can be hard to figure out exactly what the champions should do or build because you have to piece together twitch vods to figure it out.
Would love to see explanation videos about certain champions that should be meta in competitive or why some champions are being played in competitive and shouldn't be.
The merit Nasus has in Low Elo is that ADCs generally have no idea that his W reduces attack speed and that his E reduces their armor. That means that low elo adcs are likely to fight despite being withered and standing in the Spirit Fire not realizing that their stats are much lower than yours. This is the same reason to how Maokai support became so strong that they nerfed the support item. Botlaners just straight up did not think about staying away from bushes.
I'm super excited for the work and production quality here, I think this is really what league has been lacking. I don't think anyone in the same school of thought as you has really had the youtube reach or ability to spread out to a general audience. I'm super hype
I'm happy you can finally make some of these professionally produced videos you've been talking about! Maybe the pro players you're mainly trying to reach just need their information handfed like this.
Over 11 minutes into the video and LS started saying this is MOSTLY for Pro Plays and he thinks it is bad for soloQ. Then I look at the views and look at the likes and ponder how many Nasus supports I’ll be seeing in my soloQ games xD
if you dont like nasus sup, play nasus top by using the same strat basically, maxing E to poke them and farm safely, and then W or Q depending on match up, also vs ranged squishy target like quinn = comet, vs tanky, bruisers = grasp
Because for some reason there aren't timestamps in the description/chapters: 0:00 - Intro 2:24 - Abilities 7:08 - Laning Phase 7:56 - Weaknesses 9:27 - Runes/Summoner Spells 11:01 - Who is Nasus for? 13:34 - Outro

I think domination secondary is also good. Take zombie ward and relentless or ulti hunter. Personally I don't like the boots on supports, since I want to have them early to get more tempo on the map and are allowed to move to other lanes faster than my opponent.
You could argue that the movement speed from boots helps and that as bot is a 2v2 its more likely to get boots faster and as you get less gold in support the free money is a lot more significant, especially if paired with futures
@@dawidlol1337 bot is only a 2v2 if you stay bot all of the time. As a support you should not stay bot the whole time. Nasus has a good kit... Into certain teams. He's also extremely useless into the majority of teams. In solo Q he's entirely useless unless snowballed or in dumpster elo. Nice video LS! If you don't mind I'd love to suggest some feedback about the video format, since making explanatory video is what I do for work. Hope this helps :) 1. For the rest of the video after 2:22 mark, you just sit without looking at the camera, and that's kinda bad because: 1. you give the impression that you are just reading a script rather than explaining. 2. Audience will not be engaged in the video because you don't talk to "us" directly. 3. Which lead to audience not seeing the video at all as it keep playing It would be the best if you stand up facing the camera like what you did in the first 2 minutes of the video. This will bring more engagement to the audience because it will make it seems like you are directly looking at "us" and talking to "us" personally. If you don't want to stand up, then sitting is fine. But keep in mind to look at the camera from time to time. 2. In order to not make the video boring, you could show us more gameplay! Like when you said to "spam E" then you showed us the video of nasus spamming E. It would be nice to see gameplay footage when you explain each of the abilities (like at 3:38-3:55). It will help the audience to understand what you are saying quickly. You could also use gameplay footage when you explain certain situations. like for example you said Ezreal and Xayah is a difficult matchup for Nasus, you could show us why with actual gameplay footage. 3. It's a bit of a problem when you showed the screenshot of abilities that is too long, because it covered your face on the video. Like when you show "Spirit fire" and "fury of the sands", the image just covered your face slightly. You have 2 solutions for this: A. Place the image in the center and blur the background so the audience will focus on that picture. B. Don't use screenshot. Instead, re-type the abilities in the video by splitting it in two parts, and put it on your left/right so it doesn't block you. When the image is too big but you can still fit in the video, you can do it like when you show the runes. 4. Use more assets! Your video lacks of it, thus the video might seen as quite bland and uninteresting to look at. When you mentioned certain champions you could show their splash art/in game model. If you said some specific champion pools, like here you mentioned "long ranged ADCs" you could show us few of the champions that fits the category. This also include items. 5. Add text so the audience know the point of your explanation. For example you could add 'Things to remember: 1. Make sure enemy ADC depends on movement/attack speed, 2. Hard against long-range enchanters, 3. Etc etc. 6. You could also put a background music, so the video won't be too quiet. That's it! Apologies if it's too much for you and Joe. P.S Your closing video is great, btw. You explain why you make this video and why we should play nasus support, that keep us want to try it ourselves!
Love the direction the content it going. However I hear a high pitched scratchy sound at the start of the video, not sure if it's my end or. Anyway love the vid
@ls if he reads this. This is nerdy but you might want to think about it. Working like a charm in soloq with sunfire as 2nd or 3rd. It is troll because you can 1vs1 overfed adcs by using w on them and afking beside them. Reason sunfire is strong with nasus currently. Sunfire was changed to scale based on max health better. Nasus r with sunfire can deal 8 to 10% if each enemy life per second in damage "because nasus health is much higher than most. So 2.25 sunfire damage of nasus max health is 3.5to 4 of an adc". And if you are ignored you get enough time to stacj sunfire and apply it is second debuff to everyone. Eventually allowing you to deal 4% "r rank2 " of enemy health per sec + 2.25of your health "which again is about 3.5 to 4 of a squishy's max health" And same again for the second sunfire effext. Add skme autos, a q hit and e yiu end up doing 10- 15 % max health as damage for EACH ENEMY around you. And in a very very long game demonic can increase all of that greately by giving nasus more than 140 ap "in ulti" with gathering storm you end uo getting another 2% per second on r which is 1% per 100 ap. And about 2% from demonic. Abyssal mask is insanely strong with all of that too because yiu always apply 25 mr reduction thanks ti your ult max health. Buffing all ur magic damage dealers and your self. Point is, you can think of nasus from the eyes of a wow player. You are a tanky aoe damsge dps, curse bot character. And your ability to dish a big amount of aoe maxhealth dps is by it self a big tool to peel for ur backline. Because it melts tanks, invisible assassins and bruisers.
I like LS is promoting Nasus sup now. I used to play a ton of Nasus bot/sup and I agree with most of LS's points but I think level 1 Q is underrated because 30 bonus ad is not that bad considering when the enemy gets armor shredded by your E and if heals you more with your passive. When level 6 you also get to spam your Q in ult (which heals you even more). LS talked about how Nasus relies on your team a lot maybe putting 1 point in Q can give you 300+ more dmg and 100+ healing in a fight might give your team some tolerance to clean up the fight. From my experience, it is a pretty good deal. And sometimes you run into an enchanter matchup you can build relic shield to get through laning phase and you end up having 100+ stacks in 20mins with only 1 point in Q which is quite decent.
We all know that the only reason Nick de'Slick here made this dog, champion guide is to avoid answering the 80iq Andy's questions in chat of "wHy ArEn't u Pudding uh pOinT in Q?" Little does Thoughtless Nick know that for every quelled question in Twitch chat, TWO SHALL RISE UP AND TAKE ITS PLACE! HAIL TWITCH CHAT!
LS i have done this many times long time ago, butin soloq nasus support works very very well as a big tristana counter. Because on soloq tristana players tend to go all in. But they are often surprised by how slow their bomb stacking is and often die before they do it.
League community when a player picks off-meta: You have been reported. League community when a 'pro' picks off-meta: Oh yes sir! I see why this can actually be useful!
Looks super sick, I want to yolo q this but I must hold back... also the production value was weird cause it was pretty nice at first (but with janky audio) and then it just went to a normal LS video lol
I will say I've had a lot of success with Support Nasus in Gold Elo in NA. A few things I would mention is taking 1 point in Siphoning Strike along with Relic Shield into lanes where you are taking a lot of poke damage like Brand or Ezreal. You can get stacks by consuming your Relic Shield stacks and the extra damage from each stack can help give more HP from your passive. I will say though my winrate on Support Nasus is quite high the problem I've run into is the severe increase in dodges. Your team is going to dodge a lot in the lower elos. They know Nasus as a Q stacker and don't know about the effects of your W and E. So they see you pick someone who is going to steal CS. It usually takes me about 5-6 attempts before we get into a game. So if you're considering playing Support Nasus in lower elos just know that it is very successful but you are going to receive a lot of criticism for it
I loved playing Susan support back when Kog'Maw etc. was meta. Into Jinx e.g. I can totally see him working with wither completly cripling an autoattack based champion.
Really liked the video and also the new production. Only one problem i spotted was the audio in the first 2 min. There is a grainy static/buzzing sound in the background. I look forward to your future vids (LoL related or not)

Actually a very good, informative video about Nasus :D
Please do more of these for off-meta discoveries that no one understands
this video is beautiful and i demand MORE
This is such a good video I NEED MORE LS CHAMPION GUIDES
I need more of this in my life
@ls if he reads this.
Eventually allowing you to deal 4% "r rank2 " of enemy health per sec + 2.25of your health "which again is about 3.5 to 4 of a squishy's max health"
And same again for the second sunfire effext.
Great content, hoping for more of this in the future!
Nice format. Thank you for this Guide.
LETS GOOO THIS THE SHIT IM LOOKING FOR
This format is awesome.
This is the highest production quality April Fools joke to date.
You’re speaking is on point. Loosen up a bit and relax your body. Too stiff. I love you.
More videos like this please! Great content as per usual ♥
Joe production didn't even add any bgm. BASED
This was a great April Fools Vid! Got me again LS!
LS on his knees for me at the end omg
Great production, love u.
Great video! It would be great if this type of video became a series!
I would love the bloopers of this when you were laughing at this.
We all know that the only reason Nick de'Slick here made this dog, champion guide is to avoid answering the 80iq Andy's questions in chat of "wHy ArEn't u Pudding uh pOinT in Q?"
Little does Thoughtless Nick know that for every quelled question in Twitch chat, TWO SHALL RISE UP AND TAKE ITS PLACE! HAIL TWITCH CHAT!
Quality content my friend
LS i have done this many times long time ago, butin soloq nasus support works very very well as a big tristana counter. Because on soloq tristana players tend to go all in. But they are often surprised by how slow their bomb stacking is and often die before they do it.
I thought this was an April fool's video but this is legit!
League community when a player picks off-meta: You have been reported.
League community when a 'pro' picks off-meta: Oh yes sir! I see why this can actually be useful!
im going to preach this in solo q anyway :)
woah I've never seen a guide done this way :o so clever an well done
It feels like im not watching a league related video im not used to this kind of format but it's really good
A series about off meta picks would be insane
exhaust gives you the ability to "play around this attempt to play around you"
Looks super sick, I want to yolo q this but I must hold back...
also the production value was weird cause it was pretty nice at first (but with janky audio) and then it just went to a normal LS video lol
Nasus r is always amazing. In match up with riven or other aggressive lane bully having the r helps alott
YES finally a guide
LOVE
Amazing job
So if you're considering playing Support Nasus in lower elos just know that it is very successful but you are going to receive a lot of criticism for it
Ok I actually laughed out loud at 9:53.
Ofc he was going to sht on cookies whenever he discusses any subject for 10 min or more.
I look forward to your future vids (LoL related or not)
Unironically, The best champion guide ngl 😂
As a Miss Fortune main, I would like to find someone to abuse this strat with ASAP lmao. The theory makes a lot of sense, with spirit fire complementing lethality, and wither practically eliminating lethality Miss Fortune's weakness against high dps ADCs.
let's fucking gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo the production value is insane???
This is the most convincing April fool's joke I've ever seen
