- LNOE is closing off the year with another collaboration from Sasha, this time alongside rising star Franky Wah. This release gives a taste of the musical ties between the two and paints a unique picture across the 4-track EP. Franky Wah has been making a name for himself releasing on labels such as Afterlife and Ministry Of Sound amongst others.
‘Haunted’ the title track shows instantly that the combination of these two artists is certainly not a gimmick and sets the tone for the release. Franky commenting on their collaboration says: "Sasha has played a huge part in putting me on the map by supporting my music, so it’s an honour to be able to collaborate on this project with an artist that I’ve always looked up to. This EP is a perfect amalgamation of both of our sounds and I’m really proud to get this one out.”
The raw break-beats drum sounds which we all know and love, paired with modern melodic synthesizer work and dreamy vocals make up the recipe for this standout record. The sonic character oscillates between these energetic grooves and dreamlike states. The release will feature four original collabs, all defining another perspective on the sound between Sasha and Franky.
LNOE128 will be out December 18th on all digital platforms.

This is my 2021 No1 electronic dance track. Absolutely nailed this collaboration. Sasha still got it but adding Franky Wah into the mix has destroyed this! Faultless production between them. Reckon they should do an album together. Beautiful, stunning, I want to eat this song all day long. Love it

I mentioned them because all of those labels were publishing so much talent, it pushed the sound forward in so many genres. Around ‘99 I noticed a shift, a pivot and the sounds got deeper, more complex arrangements , and infinitely abstract - defining the style they termed progressive. Consummate vibes for intellectual trippers. Cheers

i was lusting after this track, after hearing it on Sasha's Burning Man mix In August. I bugged the hell out all my dj friends and online dj community and no one came up with it.... until...... a few weeks ago when i finally found out the title and release date! I haven't been made to wait for a track like this in ages. Well worth the wait! PURE BREAKS MAGIC! Well done Sasha and Frankey! Thank you for great music that the world needs right now!
