I really like how the tree trunks in the foreground were placed as a frame for the entire drawing. I'll have to do that with one of my landscapes.
I have to tell you, I watched a couple of your videos and HAD to subscribe. I am self taught my self. Self taught or not there is the old saying, those who can do, do. Those who can't, teach. I have to tell you my friend, you have both aspects well under your belt. You are a great artist and an outstanding teacher! I hate time laps , when people use it and just play music. With no commentary or teaching. You have it down pat, drawing vids can get long, hence the time laps, but with the teaching commentary it is a joy. Please never change the way you are making videos on youtube. They are EXCELLANT!

Me again just came back to watch this and the tips helped me a lot at drawing trees closer to the view cuz I atemt to draw them far away alot cuz I can't get the details in the bark to look like it has a cracks

Try out strathmore 500 bristol and strathmore toned paper
When i try to add squiggles to suggest bush/ foliage- the charcol pencil leaves more dust that what I can brush off. Am I putting too much pressure on the pencil and should I use blunt pencil for these suggestive shapes? I also looked at your other forrest themed drawings and noticed you use a lot of these shapes. If you could suggest a solution that will be great.
Try a slightly harder pencil. Maybe that'll help.

It's not a white pastel. It's an eraser in a pencil.
