- Today, I'm going to show you how to create a huge beach hotel district in Cities Skylines 2 with a focus on detailing to create a spectacular area in the city. In this destination build I'll also show you how to make the infrastructure required to support the development. In addition, I'll create an adjacent beach property district to increase the population at the same time. I'll be using the dev mode and a few mods to complete this project. There's lots and lot's of detailing in this episode to create this unique build, so I hope you enjoy!

RUclips is Broken, It is pushing the boring Biffa and boring Infrastructurist builds instead of such cool builds like this. Unbelievable
Glad you enjoyed it👍
love watching a master at work!!!
Cheers bud!! ☺️👍
Love the Build! The Detail And the Self Created Pools...like WHAT never thought of that bro! you have inspired me to Try another Beach build!
Thank you bud! 😊👍 Love hearing any of the builds are giving folks some inspiration. 👌
u have single handedly proved that this DLC isn't completely useless cheers!
😂😂 gotta love those palms 🌴🌴🌴🌴
You did absolutely amazing job on designing and detailing your city. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your talent and skill with us. You're a amazing artist with Cities Skylines 2 and I glad I found your channel and yes I did subscribe so please keep up the awesome work and I promise to keep coming back for more and sharing your video's with as many people as I possibly can because you definitely deserve it.
Thank you so much! I really do appreciate the support. Sharing it is awesome! Recommendations and shares from viewers really do help the channel get discovered and it's very much appreciated. Thanks again. I'm going on holiday next week but there will be a lot more to come when I'm back. 😁👍
Very nice job there! I looking for something like that to take inspiration. By the way, what are the specs of your computer? The computer seems to run the game very nicely.
Thanks very much, I love hearing folks taking inspiration from my stuff. It's a big motivation for me 😊 Yeah, game runs pretty well up to about 110k pop, then the simulation starts to run a bit janky at 3x speed. I've got an Intell 13600k CPU with an Sapphire nitro+ AMD 7900XTX and 32GB ram DDR4 4000mz 👍
I live your level of detail. Do you plan out your builds ahead of time inside or outside of the game? If so, would you show us how you plan?
For this city I created a multi layered master plan. So it has all the resources, highways, rail lines, areas marked out. I use that as a guide as I go along and I can remove or add any layers for better visibility. I don't get too far into the detail, it's more an overview to keep things in track. If you jump in the discord I'll show you a screenshot or two. I was planning on making a video on it but never got round to it.
this is magic ,the way you decorate everything ,i learn a lot about it in 1 video, lots you work you did made this realistic,i can believe this take many hours, very big respect for this work ard i give you a big like 7 and subcribe you 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love that! Thanks so much and welcome in; thanks for subscribing! Loads more to come. :)
I can't wait to see how wild builders can go when custom assets get formally added.
We're still probably months away I'm guessing till we get assets. Once this game gets them it'll be something else! 😊👍
What's the trick to keeping the pools from draining?
Been a while but I think you just need to get the level right. You can bump up the water simulation speed in Dev mode which helps if it's a big area. There is an evaporation setting/value if I remember right, so might be worth having a look at that if you are having issues.
Your build has quickly become my absolute favorite on RUclips!! Your detailing is insane and I can't wait to see more!
Love that mate. Thank you, that's some compliment. Plenty more coming 😃
Awesome build, well worth the time and hassle. best resort i have seen so far, well done.
Thanks so much. That's high praise indeed. 🫡👍 Yeah, the detailing is always worth it, even if the game makes it a bit more difficult than I would like 😂
After seeing this I went back and started watching the rest of the series. Quickly becoming one of my favorites!
Honestly, you don't know how much comments like this spur me on to make more content. 😊 Thank you!! 😊👍
Wow, this is a Massive Build mate! Beautifully executed. Absolute in love with this!!!
Ah cheers man, really appreciate that. Yeah it was a biggy! Probably a bit more than I set out to do, but I'm pretty happy with this one. :)
You deserved millions subscribers
I wish!!!! 😁
Just PLOP them down. lol.
😀
oh, and i forgot, BP introduced new Pool Ladder props, which should fit nicely on your custom pools.
The Pergola system is also great for builds like these.
Sweet, I'll check them out 👍👍
So much amazing detailing, wow. Thanks for this inspirational video. I often skip the end cinematics but I stuck around for this one ☺
Cheers Jason. Appreciate you sticking around till the end 😊👍

Your cities are the coolest that I have seen yet!
Thank Patrick. Appreciate that bud 😁👍
You really should get the visual water tweaker mod, makes the scale of the water way better so it looks much better.
Cheers for the recommendation, I've seen it on PDX mods, but not tried it yet. I'll have a look 👍
@@piccana_ When you have downloaded it, you always have to go into the mod menu and enable it eahc time you start the game. Has been like that for me at least.
Nice one, appreciate the heads up 🫡
yep, that just looks amazing
Thank you!!! 😁👍
