In your opening cinematics at 1:15 the orange tram pulls into the stop twice; on the left then goes forward at 1:30 before reversing to the stop again on the left at 1:30 before proceeding at 1:35. It might be a sneaky waypoint.
Our city bought super long trams just last year. They're 5 and 7 segments long, but the segments are shorter. So the 7 segment long trams a bit shorter than the 6 segment one in the video (I just looked it up - they're 32.6 m / 106.8 ft and 41.9 m / 137.4 ft long, for images search for tramlink by stadler). What I want to say is that those trams are more realistic than you might think. Having coupled trams seems to be a workaround to me where they don't want to buy new trams but need more capacity.
Just after I finished watching this video I got a video about Luxembourg's new trams recommended. They also have 7 segment long ones (but 3 m longer than ours 😢). Now why did I get that video recommended? Because I watched this video, because I looked up information about our trams or because I left the previous comment? Probably all 3 combined XD
@@YannickBoYou are most certainly correct, but the reason I said to use the coupled trans was twofold, one, it looks more realistic, and two, because of what you mentioned. Longer trams tend to have a lot more sections to easily traverse tight corners and roads that were designed before even cars were a thing. The six car tram with all of the segments the same length just looks wrong imo.
You could make your life easier with the 'Asset Variation Changer Mod'. When activated, the props keep the colour from the previous one and you don't have to place hundreds of props and wait for the same colour to appear again, anymore 😊
LOL... quite amusing the round about way of arriving at the wide road with median and tram upgrade via 4-5 iterations through _Road_ _Builder_ but glad it all worked out in the end.
@@ConflictNerd if you haven't watched the livestream, (first lp concert w/emily) take a look. They performed a similar set that they would've in 2016-17, and it gives you a good sense of how her voice fits in with their music. It's also great to see Linden again. Cheers!
you are the only one (out of you and biffa) that kept playing the original one, i don't know if the others outside of you and biffa kept playing the original save from the first post
It's definitely been tricky at times, but I'm excited to go through and rebuild some of those original areas with a few mods and some better design ideas! :)
One think what stops me playing cs2 They fixes public transport in cs 1 With bigger and more variation and they had huge positive feedback So I was pretty pissed when they give back to cs1 where we didn’t had it … So until they fixed it I will not spend money on cs 2
@ConflictNerd Oh I love Metrolink. Used it constantly when I lived in Manchester. But for that the configuration 2x3 would work better 😉 We have the same models in Cologne, but in red and white.

if you do ever end up using the 6-car trams, id recommend the 2x3 trams (two-three car sets coupled together) as it would be more realistic

16:48 that idea with the tram stop on the bridge is actually really common in Gothenburg, Sweden. I live there and my home stop is one of them.
Which tram stops in Göteborg is on a bridge?
@@leonolsson2024 Vårväderstorget, Gropegårdsgatan, Vågmästareplatsen, Musikvägen and parts of Kviberg, Axel Dahlströms Torg and Marklandsgatan
I think it might be fun to colour code your stops to the colour of the line in the buses and trams
I wouldn't mind two series going on here. Continuing this city and starting over.
I'm early 20s and I remember Balamory, the song got stuck in my head *so* often 😫
0:53 Crazy
That tram track going down the middle would have looked epic if it was elevated the whole way

Nice to see you posting, hope you're keeping well!
Unrelated to the video but loving the new logo l, it looks good, and what do you think about the new LP singer?
Glad you like it! :)
New LP singer is pretty good. Keen to hear what their new album sounds like!

@@ConflictNerd love the series tho, keep doing it as long as you can possibly do with this series
Infrastructurist is still playing his first city
Time now for a new city build- Anniversary special.
Great... now I have the Balamory theme tune stuck in my head...
Main Street in the transit district is Washington.
Just call the district ‘Little Washington’
✌️
I think the name for the new district should be: Gramercy Crossing
Call the new district “The Nerdmalfi coast”
29:34 Okay Dr. Seuss 😒😂
1:40 the pillar...

New district name: New Brighton
Leave the trams 6 segments long....paint them yellow, then they'll look like Berlin trams ;)
Manchester, too!

The changes look amazing! I just realised that you can set custom elevation step. Is that a mod? What name of it?
district should be called "Linden Promenade" or "Hillside Promedade"
district name 'Septembers Prominade' to mark 1 year revisit!
hiiiiiii
🥳🎉
Call it TheLegend27
What's the mod used for the trams to have more or fewer number of carriages
I think it would be better to build an underground tram station. If built like that, it will lose the beauty of the city😢
I’ve never been good at this game
It has also been 2 years exactly since out beloved queen elizabeth passed away. RIP you will be missed o7

Just so I know I'm not going insane - there is an inconsistent knocking noise in the background right?
