They do kind of look like the flame burning on a candle. I think my mind stayed with the garden aspect because of the carrot inspiration photo. Heck no! Bring on the wild color combos. I love playing in the dye!! 🥸❤️🌈
Wow this really is fantastic. I love all of it but I really like how the center is pale. It shows off the contrast in the dark colors. Thanks Steph. I’m going to try something similar.
Hi Stef, beautiful color combination. I don't know if you saw the side fanfold I did with all Browns with a touch of red, but yes you shouldn't be afraid of some brown tones they are very pretty. I like the double fanfold I saw on Greg's Channel, some of Scott's double fan folds are awesome and so is yours. I need to give it a try, thank you for sharing.
I feel like you don’t make these anymore. You should. This is so awesome Steph. It sticks out in my head like that black and gray spike one you shared when you first started. I love that video. Curious what another will look like with upgrades. Thanks Steph.
LOVE purple and yellow together! I'm using this for insp! I might use golden yellow, imperial purple, and purple sage for mine. I think a thin section of sage green and spearmint thrown in would look sweet too. Nice job! ✌️
Gorgeous! I'll do one of these one of these days...even if me and precision folds don't see eye to eye. I agree that the tag is annoying, when it comes to getting in the way. On the other hand, it gives me a spot to attach my own tag where I'm not potentially punching a hole in the fabric.
It doesn’t happen too often, but I’m pretty much speechless. You matched that carrot perfectly, and your shirt is so beautiful. I think we both learned a little bit from Scott’s pleating once again This shirt is stunning.❤️😁✌️
Oh, I LOVE THAT SHIRT, I WANT THAT SHIRT!!! Serious. I'll trade a box of baked goodies for it! I'm in the middle of such a deal with Greg, I believe there aren't any goodies left, he got the package Wednesday. 🤣 Your meticulous folding really pays off, but the color combo, outstanding. The whole shirt, everything about it, is speaking to me! I'm definitely going to try the fold and try to imitate the colors, but I NEED THIS shirt! 🤣 BTW, that carrot, great inspiration! 🥰🥰🥰
You’re so cute Patti! The shirt was made for my friend, but I will make more. Greg told me you two were doing a trade. That’s great!! I’ve never seen those nebula carrots before. Mother Nature sure is AMAZING! I’m going to use that inspiration photo again sometime. I see other colors in it the more I look at it. I look forward to seeing your results. 🥕❤️🌈
Incredible Steph. What a cool inspiration picture. I’ve never seen anything like that either. Are they real carrots? I’m going to google them. I would like to trying growing them this summer.
Very nice Steph 👍 I went on fb but there were to many people I need to ask my daughter how I can just get the community So I wanted to ask a question here if I may. I bought my first procion dyes finally what a difference Tan the rit dye I used to use. So I only bought primary colors and black, untill I can get some more colorful dyes I tried to make Orange with 1 tspn of red and yellow but didn't come out very well. Is there a ratio you should use when mixing the powders ? Also I could see the final effects of good strong pleating. Every time I watch another tutorial it's like brain washing myself so it's becoming more automatic when I work on a new project 😊 Kind regards Erik 😎🇳🇿

It’s super important. Procion dye and RIT, there is no comparison. I haven’t used RIT since the 70’s. When making orange in ice dyeing I just overlap the red and yellow. Green, overlay the yellow and blue, and so on. Same with liquid actually. I think what you’re asking is how to mix it in the bottle. Here is a cheat sheet we use to help you out. ♥️🌈 www.thethreadstudio.com/catalogue/colour/procion/ColourMixing2012.pdf
Mary, I thought I already answered this earlier. The instructions are on the bottles. I don’t follow the instructions. I use a sploosh per size load. One sploosh for a small load, two splooshes for a medium load and so on. Same for the final hot water cycle with Milsoft. I could be wrong, but I also think I explain this in the tutorials specific to the products. You’ll find them in the tie dye tools playlist. I have over 400 videos. I cover everything. If you click around on my channel you should be able to find some very helpful tutorials. You can also go on Dharma’s website and read their information on these products. That’s what I did originally. I really hope this helps. Warm regards, Steph ❤️🌈
Pansies are those colors. Please don’t use that over music. It gave me a headache but I made it through to see the whole vid. Great leaning experience.
I’m sorry Wanda. Put in on mute next time. Long videos need high energy to keep the pace going otherwise people won’t watch it all which damages the channel. I really wish I could please everyone, as much as I try, I just can’t. 😌❤️🌈
I thought the little yellow parts look like flames. The shirt is gorgeous, Steph, don't fear the brown. I love that.

Beautiful shirt. You matched the inspiration picture very well. Mother Nature makes such incredible things to look at.
That's Beautiful! So was the carrot you showed! Thank you again Stephanie for the Beautiful Tapestry that you donated to Greg.
You are so welcome! 😍❤️🌈
MN Viking fans will love this one!
It totally has that vibe. 💛💜❤️🌈

Really pretty shirt Stephanie! I totally agree about the shirt tags. I find them incredibly frustrating. 😊❤✌️
Wow this really is fantastic. I love all of it but I really like how the center is pale. It shows off the contrast in the dark colors. Thanks Steph. I’m going to try something similar.
You nailed it Steph!!!! It’s beautiful!
I love the color combo. I'm definately going to try to do another double fanfold. Your tutorial has inspired me.

I love that!! I made that pattern accidentally and loved how it turned out. Now I'll try some deliberately
❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Stunning!
Very pretty Steph, I love it! As for tags, they annoy me. I try so hard not to dye them, but most of the time they get dyed. 😂
I LOVE IT!!! They have rainbow carrots at Sprouts Steph. Someone did a chocolate brown only spiral and it was amazing.
I love it too, makes me think of daisys.
