    Some of that bedrock looked awesome! It`s bloody slow going with a small coil over open ground hey. Dream mats are a great invention and are becoming quite highly rated. I use a Garrett Super Sluice and go through a lot of dirt, I don`t sluice. In the goldfields of WA there is just too much clay, so way too much water is needed. A bit of an explore and some nice colour, well done 👍

    Hey bud great video,
    i haven't hit a gold field since the 80s.. might have a go over the Easter weekend... i don't even have a pan , I'll run my six inch coil over some ground and see how it goes... thanks for sharing brother GL &HH jim 👍

      GL Jim, Victoria has some of the purest Assayed gold on planet, hope you hit some color. Pan is a great back up option if the nuggets aren't cooperating. Hope to invest in a pump & head unit soon so I can set up a recirculating sluice out in the field & process more dirt :) Enjoy your Easter break & HH 👍✌

    Looks like fun! The coin roll hunting and prospecting is a whole other animal in the stacking community. I don’t think I’ll ever prospect and I dont have the patience for coin roll hunting. And Crispy how he does all the metal detecting and prospecting....don’t think I’ll be doing that.....don’t wanna get my shiny white armor dirty! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤪

    got some gold from ot there, biggest piece was 6 grams in the sluice, also i pulled a few gold rings out of that river you where sluicing in
    Good on the gold, its bloody hard work out past Warwick

      @ozzyalchemist8806  4 года назад

      G'day Brad, congrats on the 6 grammer, they are few & far between.
      There are a few popular swimming areas along that stretch of the river, nice work on the rings...especially considering how much trash has been dumped down there over the years👍
      Cheers for watching😊✌

      @@ozzyalchemist8806 If I can I will take the trash out of the water too. unfortunatly there are lots of broken bottles in there. People have no respect for the surrounding environs.

    It's good that you guys get paid for recycling. We get bugger all here. In fact it costs us money because we have to wash all recyclable plastics before they will take them. Glad you managed to find a little gold, even if they were just micro dots. That sluice seems well thought out.

    great Vid mate, im trying to find the old grave of Dan bray, any info would be great

    • @ozzyalchemist8806
      @ozzyalchemist8806  3 года назад +1

      G'day Lee 😊 To find old Dan...Nth Durikai, Gate 1, follow track straight (there is a fork further in track, stay right) this should bring you to the creek & a clear parking area. Where the 2 creeks join, Dan is on the opposite side. And when you look at his plaque, then turn around 180° & walk 20m you will see the puddler.
      Good luck, hope that helps & happy hunting 👍😊✌🇦🇺

    Is it possible to do this full time. I need a new job.

    • @ozzyalchemist8806
      @ozzyalchemist8806  3 года назад +1

      Sure, apply for a job with BHP.
      Micro mining on the other hand, and with current restrictions surrounding sluicing & highbanking (In Queensland) - makes it extremely difficult just to cover daily costs.

      @@eriksadventures2192 There is very sml amounts of flood gold in the river, look for low pressure areas & the clay layer.
      But beware...Qld Fossicking only permitted in GPA's & Private Land (w/permission). Rivers are a grey area, I argue the Crown owns our rivers & they should be accessible to the public for fossicking, fishing, kayaking & so on.
