I’d recommend Ending Maker (Reincarnation, Rivals to Lovers) because the chemistry between the leads is my favorite across all media. I also think How to Use a Returner (Isekai, Rags to Riches, Time Travel?) is a fun read with chaotic/unhinged personalities and one of the only harems/reverse harems I’ve actually liked.
I have so many ways to describe Regressor’s Instruction Manual (How to use a returner) but none of them have the word harem on it. Is still an awesome story
Wellllllll, I kinda wonder what category does Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint belong in since there are several troupes in there: There’s regression, there’s reincarnation, there’s time travel, there’s enemy to lovers, there’s chosen, and there’s the weak to strong, et cetera. Hopefully you could check this manwha out!
I am (so guilty of) loving Villains are Destined to Die. (Video game trope with reserve Harem). It's released from Webtoons but I found it in the clearance bin at a comic store because the cover was damaged. It's anime style but in gorgeous colored pages. I fell in love and want to buy the rest of the copies, which I never do! Curious what you think!
Missed 2 favorites! Breaking out of the Simulation/ Simulation trope! This is a super fun action drama trope where the character knows they are in a simulation or a god controlled world and they are trying to break out to return to the real world. my favorite currently is My virtual god is a teenage girl! super funny and very unique if you’ve never read anything in simulation before. It’s like the truman show or free guy but longer breakout. And the trope where someone has powers in a world of regular humans. Generally these are tropes used in profession based webtoons! I think you should cover drama webtoons because they are seriously underrated and a breath of fresh air. Lots of people over look them but complain about too much fighting,cliche, and fantasy in their action fantasy series. I often think the best AF and RF webtoons always have a good amount of the Drama Genre style story telling in it which makes it more interesting. Some others you missed: - proving im not the imposter - reincarnation but not the 2nd time - high school gang busting (not just martial arts) - streamer/youtuber (overlaps with VR but also romance and thriller!) (my fav is genius archer streaming, title is dumb but the novel’s story is so fun- webcomic is pretty good too) - author/creator in their creation - retired/injured genius at one thing gets a second chance with a new opportunity (but i guess this is like reincarnation but without the second life aspect and overpowered but only in their profession??) (my fav in this one is one second)
In my opinion if manhwa creators drawed te drawings in black and white the art would be better because they could put more efffort into the drawing and not the painting
