Very KISS motivated build, Keep it simple stupid. I am totally digging Frank, dude gives off that super humble and practical vibe. This build is beautiful, nothing crazy, just enough amenities to be comfortable while doing his absolute best to keep things cheap & simple to both minimize cost and potential points of failure. If I had to guess I'd say Frank has spent a lotta time in the trades.
This is so amazing! He has given it so much character! That ceiling is beautiful! I love that he put a large sink in the kitchen, and it has a full bathroom. I love it!
Bathroom is amazing. I always love a good dry bath. I'll probably change my toilet to an incinerator toilet. I just don't want to deal with a black tank.
That kind of trailer is awesome I know mine is heavier I got some more wheels on mine but I'm going to change the wheels on mine I have quarter plywood I use for mine to give it strength when it's too light it could be dangerous on the road at least when it's heavier it'll hold down to the ground which is awesome but it's a cool camper trailer I love it DIY is the way to go mine is self-made as well not manufactured just like that that is awesome..
I like your channel because you seem to concentrate on converted cargo trailers and that is all I am interested in. As for this video the thing that struck me was the front door. I have a 12 x 6 V nose manufactured in northern Mississippi. It is ok and was cheap but when you get right down to it not the strongest. Baked bean can skin with a steel frame. The door I discovered is pre-manufactured en masse. Mine is bent and fits badly. The lock is broken too. I don't like it. I have decided to make a new door from scratch. How I don't know. My woodworking is getting better but this is a biggie. I am still figuring this. This was a recent decision. As per your video I am convinced I can do this and make a better job of it. Great video, thanks very much. Already subscribed and I subscribe to very few channels of this type.
This is an incredible purposeful build. Surfing, biking, kayaking. I want to adventure like this dude when my kids are older. Bravo on making it happen.
♥️ First, I need to comment about how he mentioned a couple of times that he added features his girlfriend "insisted" on having. On one hand, I envision him coming in the house from the garage, taking his cap off and scratching his head then putting his hands on his hips while asking her if it was absolutely necessary. After nodding her head with a firm yes, I see him putting his cap back on and half-teasingly grumbling about the added effort and costs as he was walking back outside. On the other hand, I sense she makes him happy so he was eager to make her happy by incorporating the changes she may have only casually mentioned. Either way, I believe the way he said it revealed his love for her. I felt compelled to comment about it because I today's environment of conditional "love" and selfish expectations, it was refreshing to see his willingness to compromise his design plans so that she will be able to better enjoy their use of the camper. ♥️ As for the camper, I love the bathroom most. Most of the vanlife buildouts or conversions I have seen, give very little consideration to the bathroom, particularly the shower. The vanlife and camping lifestyle means spending the majority of the day outside. Between sweating, bug spray, and sunscreen, I would need a hot shower before getting into the bed.
This is a great build. That bed actually looks comfortable which is not what I usually see. I like all the vents. Nice size bathroom. Kitchen has everything you need. I agree with the girlfriend about the sinks. 😀 Love the tire cover. BTW Patrick, I have been waiting all morning for your video before I leave the house, you're a minute late posting your video. 😁
Very nice job….obviously put a lot of work into details like the vent covers, hidden trash in the bathroom, which in a small space really adds up to make things look less cluttered and cramped.
I have a 6x12 I’m converting and would love to take off the heavy ramp! I’ve been thinking about doing that and now it sounds even better. Thanks for sharing this great conversion!
The story of how you met is too funny! Since I recently started watching these videos, every van, trailer, etc, I stare at. The drivers probably think I'm crazy 😂😂😂😂. This is a great build ❤️
Very nice build. I wonder what he's thinking for the next one...? I'm sure he's got a list, in his head, of things he wants to improve upon, add, or even eliminate. Thanks for having him on. Looking forward to seeing him again.
With 4 YEAR WAITLISTS for campgrounds now (April 2023), folks need to be offgrid... and THAT requires enough SOLAR to run a frig and a/c for long periods of time... Esp down here in NC!!!
Any solar panels on the roof? Camper trailers can be pretty expensive so this is one way to get one DIY and custom the way you like and save money too!
Without the bathroom?
I like it.
With the bathroom?
I love it.

Really cool build. It's not the fanciest, but it's no dud either. It's a practical camper for two people with literally almost everything thought out.
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow this nicer than most campers and built himself.
It really is
Thats got to be my favorite trailer conversion
That's no conversion. It's a ground-up build from scratch. Next level shizzle!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Best 7x14 I've ever seen ! AWESOME ! KUDOS !
Thank you Eduardo
Great build! The cedar siding is beautiful. Nice job replacing the doors in the back and getting rid of the extra weight.
So costly looking from the outside
Really nice bathroom and shower!
Exactly
Wow. Lots of cool ideas. I’d love to see more about how he used plastic sheets in the construction, like to replace the rear doors.
Yes me too
Just so cute!!
Love it 😍
