@@KRUNK42069 Possible. Breaking Benjamin did that before they became a 5 piece band and the rhythm gutiarist and bass player did backing vocals. Another example is 30stm. Nobody does backing vocals. sounds not that great live. And it is a shame because Leto is a great vocalist
This is my fave track off of “Kin.” The versatility Phil Bozeman had shown in his harsh vocals was only the tip of the iceberg, as these newer songs show just how incredible of an overall vocalist he is. Holy shit. As an fan since the Exile days, I really like they way they’re experimenting!

I've written, played and lived metal since 1988. That said, in my opinion, Whitechapel over these last two albums is truly blooming into unbelievable artists. Not that they weren't amazing, but they are shooting straight past next level now.
They completely and totally shocked the Metal World with another single from this album that shared Phil singing so beautiful it changed the game. The album is legendary
This change of pace and music is MUCH needed for the story of Kin. I think what caught the fan base off guard was when they released their album Mark Of The Blade and there were a few songs that had some cleans in it but after hearing The Valley and now Kin, Phil has really improved his clean vocals and I'm very pleased and fully on board with the direction Phil and Whitechapel went with their music. I cannot wait to see what they bring us next.

Honestly I don’t think that getting more fans had anything to do with it, the subject matter of the last two records demanded more diversity from a vocal standpoint in order to express the range of emotions
