Travel has changed my life and I have no plans on stopping any time soon. That's why I am now running this video blog showing you how I travel the world continuously.
if you made it this far then let me know in the comments below!
Please let me know if you have any other questions below.
Here's to the next chapter!
Where are you from? You are such a kind person that sharing your experiences in abroad. Hopefully you still keep going your journey. I’m still waiting to watch your videos here :D
Would like to know how the health service is ?
That 3 bed villa..what would that average in usd
Hi! lovw your videos! can you make videos for single moms? planning to move to Bali next year with my 7 year old. I know that i won't be taking scooter, coz of daughter. Is Bali road accessible by car? might want to rent a car instead of scooter.
Welcome back to Bali!
Just a bit of advice, I know a lot of foreigner or tourist in Bali having scooter or motorcycle as their mean of transportation, but please obey the rule and also please wear a proper clothes when you drive.. I know its a beachy place, but driving around half naked is not something common and proper for most of local people... I know the local sometimes could be more stink than the tourist, but you don't need to follow something bad aren't you...
And also, please behave in public... I think its a common rule whatever part of the world you're at... drink responsibly, be nice, be responsible and make sense.. its ridiculous to see people act crazy after few drinks or party... Balinese people are very welcome to everyone as long as we can keep the mutual respect.
In Indonesia, we have a proverb... "where the earth is stepped on, there the sky is upheld"
Lastly, Bali is truly a special place, there is something about its energy you can't find in any other places, something unexplainable that makes you always come back to Bali.. so enjoy Bali, take care of Bali and have a great day!
Well said, I can’t wait to visit in November. I’ll keep all of these in mind for sure. Also I love that “Where the earth is stepped on, the earth is upheld”
I love that proverb
Calm down
@@emmagrigorian5822 did I not? I just want to share our thought as local balinese people.. I don't know if it will be your first time in Bali or maybe you've come a lot of times before. Bali has a deep root culture and religion history, beside the nature, culture is what makes people keep coming to Bali, and Balinese people tries hard to keep their culture strive in this modernization era. I was just asking for a bit of common sense to everyone comes to Bali. Lets take care of Bali together, especially if you are planning to live in it. Enjoy your stay!
Thank you so much for this video. It helped me a lot. Coming to Bali next month to stay FOREVER!
Thanks for that mate......really informative! I will be moving in April. Already have a villa sorted for our first 3 months in Pererenan. This was really helpful. Thanks.....I am now subscribed to follow your journey
Thank you so much for this detailed explanation of the different living expenses in Bali
Great info! 🙌It's exactly the sequence that I had in my mind 👌Visiting Bali next month to first explore for 2-3 weeks and then if I like it moving for 6 months or a year. Very excited about it 😃 thanks for the video 🙏🤗
I loved the video thanks tons of good information
Appreciate the fact you shared where you found your villa - most videos share how they found a great place but not how ❤ ~ I’m about to move there if you have any tips greatly appreciated 😀 Airbnb is way overpriced 😳
This was great. Thank you!
very cool, thanks
Great video❤ thanks for the information
Welcome back to Bali, Jordan 😊
Great info jord......nice vlog
I'm moving to Bali and planning to stay for at-least 5 years. Do you have any advice on how to find a household helper / assistents?
hey! did you ever figure it out? also trying to stay longer term. Any advice on visas and such?
Nice info 😊
Thanks! Hope it helps
Been travelling since 2011 and currently based in Turkey. Bali has come up a few times, never been. Rather do hotels, which would you recommend booking for a first timer?
Awesome! There are so many good hotels to choose from that I can't think of a good one in particular. I'd look at hotels in Canggu (along Batu Bolong if no scooter) and around Pererenan area. Perfect places to start!
how come you've stopped travelling? Also, how much you get your villa for? Cheers!
B211a visa information is completely incorrect.
Very nice all in one guide. It's something I'm considering mid-career and maybe to try out launching an app. I'm amazed how liberal the visa laws are. Can you comment on something I recently saw, that said long term stayers need to have 100k+ in the bank or in property (or something similar)? Apparently many retirees are worried.
Also I wonder how the medical care is in Bali (for someone not with chronic conditions but not young anymore either). I'm not a 20-something anymore with no fear of scooters, quite the contrary haha.
Thanks! The 100k+ in a bank is a different visa I believe, worth talking to a good agent about.
The public medical care is not the best in Asia (Thailand and Singapore much better), but there is still a good hospital that caters to foreigners and expats, called BIMC
@@TheLifeOfJord hey thank you for your reply! All the best!
@@jamessmith1652 Also, they are building a US International Mayo Clinic in Bali because the Balinese government wants to provide better medical care so people don't have to fly elsewhere. I think with patience, they will build up some nice infrastructure to handle those types of more serious medical situations. I plan to move there in 4 years myself.
@@isbamal Nice, Mayo has an amazing reputation, wow that's awesome.
Well concise explanation, to start with..I actually regretted the wild uncontrolled tourism..
Why did you choose Bali over Thailand or the Phillipines?
Because it’s more a complete package, like today you in the beach and the next day you can be in the top of volcano mountain
What Facebook Groups did you use?
How hard is it to get a burger? Price for ground beef?
Gili islands are also great
So if I’m coming into Bali for 8 days, do I still have to pay the full 500,000 IDR? It’s not a problem just curious.
Music while you're talking 😢
Hi, on the b211 Visa can you fly to the UK and back a few times if you wanted to? Or does it only apply if you arrive and stay for the year and a half? would need to fly home every 4-5 months
Very interest in Bali, need to plan a visit.
Can you retire in Bali? Is the medical cover ok? 👍
Yes. They have a new visa for retiring. Maybe search "Bali secon homee visa". You need a stack of cash in your bank though.
Medical, get private cover, maybe Allianz (1-2000 a yeaar)
What would you recommend for a family, 2kids?
Thats what I want to know 😂
Yes Sir, would you know if expats can buy land? Also what’s the deal with shipping your car?
bagus Jord
A Kitas is for residence rights only. To work you need a work permit. They are two completely different things. A work permit must be sponsored by an Indonesian employer.
The pronunciation 🫣🤭
How's the wifi speed there?
What area would you recommend as a starting point. I am 69 and disabled. Mobility difficulties. I am on limited social security income of over …. per month but absolutely no bills and just under $00,000in savings. I had lived 5years in the Philippines but would like to try Bali because of positive things I’ve heard. Any tips or suggestions?
You can stay in ubud, but you like beach you stay kutai
Yeah Bali have multiple place depend on your passion, Ubud area mostly calm for mind ( maybe except tourist crowded ), Life in Bali is depend on your lifestyle from simple life to fancy. They build US international Hospital Mayo Clinic in Sanur Area
Is it hard to find job in Bali?
I would 've enjoyed watching it if you'd have shown us more of Bali instead of your face :( I only lasted 3 minutes, so sorry!
Hi, is it the norm when renting to sign a minimum length lease or can it be done monthly
You can, but you often pay a little more.
Can also do 3 or 6 months at a time.
Before you get here, practice your negotiation skills, everything can be haggled.
What do you mean staying in bali forever is this allowed in Indonesia??? indonesia already overpopulation country, and how this is allowed?
It is allowed
Might sound dumm but if your working remotely how do you send your money to Bali? Or you just go all cash? Or just only credit cards?
Revolut, TransferWise/Wise, similar
Indonesia just passed a law making all sex outside of marriage illegal. What are you and Clare doing about that? What about gay people? Is Bali over?
Book two separate rooms
only relatives can make a report about that (wife, husband, child, or inner family)
Is it BALI really the best place in the world to stay?
Noo
Oh yes!!!!
*Promo sm* 😞
Mate, your face is too close to the camera, makes me dizzy. Get more shots of the Bali beauty and speak over that
Things have changed- DON'T GO!!! Prices have TRIPLED with more and more tourist (esp Russians!) CRIME is out of control and getting worse every day!! No one wants to admit it, but STAY AWAY - Thailand is CHEAP, beautiful and SAFE!!!
Mitsakes
haha thanks, fixed!
HOW ABOUT LIVING IN THE JUNGLES
Health care?
Too much talking about contractions , less benefits i got from your video about bali ,
Oh shut up!
A KITAS absolutely does give you the rights of an Indonesian citizen. You are not allow you to work and own land. KITAS for work can only be sponsored by an employer. Foreigners cannot own land except for strata title for an apartment. Please do your homework.
As I understood it, there are different types of KITAS that give you rights similar to an Indonesian citizen. So depending on the type of KITAS, you can work or own land here (even if it's through a technicality as you said).
Apologies if that's wrong. As I suggested, better to go through a Visa agent who can give proper advice.
Or a KITAS through investing in your own business but it has to be done legitimately.
@@TheLifeOfJord Thanks for clarifying - yes, it totally depends on the KITAS, and people have to be very careful.
A Kitas is residence for one year. That's it. No working or property ownership rights.
> A KITAS absolutely does give you the rights of an Indonesian citizen.
No it doesn't.
Is this a parody of modern colonialism?
i always force myself to buy imported stuff (besides fresh produse) online! (tokopedia)
interesting! Good tip.
