Should be koh phangan vs Bali, you need to spend more time in Thailand to give less biased thoughts on the whole country
@@goldencream2761 I wasn't trying to make a universal "fair" comparison to crown a winner😄 Just sharing my experience of the prices in the spots I have personally stayed longer and that are popular among other nomads as well.
Agree. All the prices etc were based on Koh Phangan, which is a small island. Food delivery, scooter rental etc is cheaper and easier in other parts of thailand. Also rent.
@@joelwieland1767 The rent prices were not just based in Koh Phangan?
@@joelwieland1767 And I showed scooter prices from Phuket too.
Bali is cheap but it depends on your lifestyle, if you want cheap go to local shops and if you want to buy food/snacks go to Indomart/Alfamart, don't go to imported shops, about Bali vs Thailand, East Indonesia is much more beautiful than Thailand but not yet popular, for example Raja Ampat, Wayag Island and Lebengki

Always Bali island is the best👍because so many tourism from Euro come and stay in Bali island and stay long years. Bali island is Euro Indonesia🇮🇩. Why? So many people from Euro come to Bali and build hotel, massage, restaurant, and stay with their family in Bali. The best👍
It seems as this guy only has Canggu as a reference.

You are just comparing Bali with Koh Phangan 😅 Bangkok is way cheaper! If you compare Thai islands with Bali, of course they are going to be more expensive. But Bangkok and Chiang Mai are cheaper! You can eat for 1$ , gym is cheaper than Bali, and accomodation too.
Also for grab food you can find many places to eat. Of course in Koh Phangan you can not find, because is just a pretty small island for tourists.
There is no sense to compare Bali and Koh Phangan. You just love Bali lol
I like your videos, but this video has no sense. Don’t say Thailand is more expensive, because is not. Just Koh Phangan or Samui are more expensive
@@user-uc1vs7kj9s I just shared my experience, I've been in Bangkok & Phuket as well.
Both are beautiful btw,, but because of more freedom lk Smoking weed, getting drunk, Going out with the girls, I'd choose Thailand.....in Bali you would get arrested if you got caught smoking weed or getting drunk on street, bt in Thailand i heard ppl smoking weed and getting drunk everywhere esp in a bar so cs of that Thailand is my pick,,, bt quality of life, cheaper price, surfing, yea Bali is probably better.....bt again i like smoking, drinking, going out a lot so yea it's my opinion, bt for living in peace yea Bali is a perfect place to be, bt for crazy bad guy like me i just wanna hv fun,, btw im from same country, im from north mallucan Indonesia,,
Amazing that some young people are so much into confort and money. ...The most important is find the place where you feel best, and if you think it's more expensive then you decide to spend less. But this is an era of the digital nomads showing off " life style"....
I own a nice flat in France but when I travel I don't care ,because I 'm outside visiting, meeting people, doing sports...I just fancy a simple clean simple place.
Anyway thanks for your insighs.

There is an option how to withdrow money in Thailand with no fee - via Kungsri bank cashier (this is called cash advance).

Great video I think it’s hard to compare a country with an island Thailand can be super cheap for nice places to live but I have to agree with most of this . I prefer Bali because it just feels better but I also need to explore Thailand more because I was turned off by Bangkok then Phuket and pattaya just wasn’t my vibe.
