Thx for the helpful vid! Ive ordered this kit and on its way. Question, are you saying the cross members must be within a certain area? I am planning a front fan + 3 panel array configuration, with each panel being 55x28. Sounds like that may not work?

Hi Matt, I just measured out the version 1 and version 2 FLVC roof racks in the shop. As for your setup I do not think 3x solar panels will fit with the single vent fan. I just made a you tube short video showing why. Unless you have a Mid roof van, 2x panels will be your max at 55x28" size for a high roof 148" ford transit. Thank you for the question!

@@vanbuilderhq thanks!! I went with the new BougeRV 200w slimmer panels so able to squeeze 400w up there with single vent fan! Also the v2 rack is great! Installed and your vid was helpful especially with the weatherstrip.

I am installing an adventure wagon kit in my van. Can this be installed later after I install my kit or will I need to access the roof of the van from the inside?

Hi Matt, Yes, you can install a Flat Line Van Co. Roof Rack after installing your adventure wagon interior system. The FLVC Roof Rack does not require any access from the inside during install. Thank you for your question!
