The answer to these types of questions is always going to sound generic, but, it depends on what you shoot and what you find important in a camera. I’ve made a video about the a7iv, it’s a great camera and I chose to go with it over the RV because I didn’t feel like I needed the extra MP of the RV. But there are advantages to having the RV, so again it depends. Do the math on the exact setups you’re comparing though to make sure you’re getting the same value worth of gear.
I agree. Its a cheap lens that gives the same quality of the expensive Sony and Sigma lenses but the build quality is a joke. I had used mine mostly during winter last 2022 and on summer of 2023 I tried to switch my lenses from the camera. I switched around 3-7 times during for a end month and the lens broke. from the mount The lens was only used for 6 months. It is metal on the outside and cheap plastic on the inside. I´d never buy samyang products again.
If you have the space 135mm 1.8 samyang is even more magical.
