When replacing a rear truck panel do you remove the tire? I just had my pickup aligned and serviced then dropped it off to have a rear panel replaced and got in to drive home and my steering wheel was tilted and completely pulling hard to one side even though I was driving straight. It was not like this before dropping it off at the auto body shop.
This is a shity job didnt cover the paint on the cab before welding his cab will rust from the splatter. And not welding the panel will let the bed flex to much over time
Will you get all kinds of noise coming from the bed after doing a repair like this and going over a bumpy road? Serious question. And also, will this weaken the structure of the bed?
Typical micromanager... Knows it all and don't know shit. I love how Pawpaw was tacking without gloves. That's the kind of person that knows how to make things happen. When that old man dies the shop foreman is gonna be up Shits Creek without a paddle.

Best if you want to access the repair easily..but not 100% necessary. Take it back to the alignment shop they will be able to tell you what is going on. Sometimes its in the tire wear not the alignment.
I gotta take off my bed liner! Holly shit this gonna be harder than I thought
u said u used panel bond but the tube u showed in the video is plastic repair. i hope u didnt use that as glue because thats not its intended use

Where did you purchace the panel?
How did you detach it from the top? Ive drill it all out.
Grind, don’t drill. You want the panel underneath intact. Then take a seam splitter (stick, Eastwood) and whack away.

Nope, its how its done! Manufacturers instructions on how to do it!
Glue is stronger than spot welds(more surface area to grab and hold)
