Another great demonstration on removing a bedside panel. How come you drilled some spot welds and ground others.
Thanks Matt , some welds there isn’t any access. Therefore they need to be drilled and plug welded upon installation
Where do you order the bed panel ?
Do you use any panel bond or seam sealer where the top of the wheel arch and the bedside meet? Maybe help stop it from rotting out again?
Yes I do both are applied

So what would u say the price to remove and install a bedside panel on a ram 3500 dually would be including paint?
We have an estimating software that prices everything for us

@@AutoWizard94 how difficult do you think it would be? I've watched quite a few videos of pulling them off. Doesn't seem when you cut it out that it would be reusable
how were you able to buy a complete rear bedside like that is that aftermarket ? i have a 2024 chevy in my shop now and the ins co says they only have a outer skin to allow me to put on
No this is original. Perhaps in your case the inner structure wasn’t damaged or is repairable
@@AutoWizard94 the inner structure is damaged i have to replace the filler panels that connect to the front of bed and the fillers that connect to the wheel well all sold separately kind of a pain in my butt that's why the job is starting to exceed 10k

We use an estimating system that prices for us
Little buffing compound and some Paintless Dent Repair preferably from a newly trained tech...good as new.

How much would you charge
Just depends on extent of damage, material being used and labor time that will take place. We don’t generally have a set price on everything, every repair is different
