When he says "I reached out to the guy from Mythbusters, and he said 'no'", I though, that seems unlikely... then "so I called the other guy from Mythbusters, and he said yes" and I got so excited. I look back to spending time with my dad and now he won't even go on an all expenses paid trip to Miami completely for free... I just wish I had loved ones to care for, but everyone is gone now. Oh well, I only have a few more months left anywho

Bobby fingers might be one of the only person doing full blown art projects on RUclips that are still essentially connected to the medium of RUclips. Utterly brilliant.
Adam's immediate pivot to safety talk really got me. He's extemely experienced in this stuff, and its the veterans who have done something hundreds of times that can start to forget the minutiae, and when dealing with a potential bomb/cannon, you can't afford that when you dont have support to double check stuff. I’m dying for Adam to go on safety third, and I always wondered why he’s apparently unhappy with Allen Pan’s mythbusters merch shenanigans because it seems like his kind of humor honestly. I think I get it now. Maybe he really dislikes those guys for how reckless they are with dangerous stuff - which is kind of their whole brand
Dan from the Slo Mo Guys has experience in explosives from service in the UK military, so he would also respect the danger, and he has also built air cannons for Slo MoGuys videos.

Man, I'm binge rewatching Mythbusters, I'm nearing the end of season 5. It feels so good seeing you doing stuff like this again and having so fun much doing it after seeing how much you loved it back then! I bet this was a nice break from the humdrum that you really needed. Love seeing this so much!
I freaking love you Adam, this brought me back to the Mythbusters, you were part of my childhood, so beautiful times snacking and watching them. From argentina to you this huge hug!
You're my hero as someone studying mechanical engineering. It's some of those obvious things that always elude you until you try it, like of course it's the length of the barrel. That's how guns work too. And it's fascinating to see how bigger concepts actually are applied to a system, all the parts that get lesser attention in design lectures like fastening and attaching and whatnot. You also said on slowmoguys video that you were playing Jamie in your ear debating you all the time, and it was so unexpected and exciting when I heard that he became a university of technology professor here in Finland. I can't imagine how it would be to be taught by one of you guys in engineering. I also can't think of where else than RUclips collaborations do you get the same energy of all professionals at what they do, meeting each other and genuinely being a bit of fanboying and admiring each other. Like how often does that happen in corporate world?
any time you’re able to collaborate with Gav and Dan in the future would be such a true delight, much as this meeting was. both of your penchants for sweet chaos and silly “oh! that was great, but what if we…?” moments are such a beautiful match for entertaining content. even if you never collab with them again, a genuine thank you for saying yes to this one; it’s instantly special and a meeting of worlds for me, as I grew up watching MythBusters as a kid and young teen, and spent my teenage into young adult years watching Gavin on his various productions with SloMo and RT. Cheers! 🍻
just tacking on to say I had never heard of Bobby before your and SloMoGuys’ videos today. what a fantastic way to be introduced to a phenomenally talented creator, this video is just filled with greatness!
There's something incredibly touching about three groups of creatives all admiring each others work from a distance, and coming together just to end up working with each other like they've been friends for years. Adam Savage, and all the cast and crew of Mythbusters inspired so many people to end up tinkering and creating, then recording it so it became "Science", and I love when that comes full circle and those creatives get to "wow" the Mythbusters the same way they would "wow" us.
Love that you brought back part of the MythBusters. I really enjoyed this video and hope that you can continue with something along the lines on your channel. Thanks, Adam.
I really wasn't expecting to feel Adam's nostalgia for his days at Mythbusters. He's right, there's something so special about just getting to think of some silly problem and deal with it so thoroughly.
1:28 "...feels like the old days of making the show. It's a lovely feeling." This made me tear up. I miss Mythbusters more than I can put into words. Thank you Adam and Jamie, truly, so much for everything you did. You brought science and engineering to us in the best possible way.
I'm just watching an old Mythbusters right now, complete with then-amazing slowmo footage, wondering (as I do when I watch MB lately) when the Slowmo Guys are going to collab with Adam. And today's the day I get to be really happy.
Thank you Adam for really spearheading the on-set direction. I have to say these channels made a perfect trinity of videos in their own style and everybody nailed it. Much love

Don't get me wrong, i love the normal vids of Adam building, modifying, fixing things, but seeing Adam back “in the field” with something that felt so much like a new Mythbusters episode made me so happy.
we are lucky to still have you around on youtube adam, loving the collaborations with some of the best youtubers. feels very mythbusters to me. just like old times!
Really cool hearing adam talk about the slowmo guys as genuine experts. I feel like their branding is much more 'two lads got an expensive piece of tech' but it rules that behind the camera they're very much experts in their field.
A dude I used to work with was hit my falling "dead" canadian goose. It hit the lens of his shoulder camera and broke the viewfinder off with his face.. knocking him out. It was fantastic!
My son was born just about the same time Mythbusters hit the air and I spent many an evening tending to him, and later my daughter, watching the show. Later we watched together every week. Now they’re in college, and this was like a nostalgia bomb going off.
my favorite part of this video is how fanboy excited Adam gets meeting and colabing with other artists and youtubers. Like dude, you're Adam freaking Savage!
Its hard to explain the nostalgia from hearing Adam yell 3 2 1 then some weird wild stuff happening. I wish I could go back and watch all of Mythbusters for the first time again.
OMG the nostalgia! I didnt realize how much I actually miss the Mythbusters. I expected The Hyneman to show up every moment. The show still have relevance.
Watching all your excitement and enthusiasm makes me so freaking happy, Adam. Mythbusters had a huge effect of me growing up, and the slow mo guys were probably the very first youtube channels i ever got hooked on. To see you guys working together puts a huge smile on my face. Also I wasn't aware of Bobby Fingers until today, and considering watching diorama builds on youtube is a huge pastime of mine, I'm so happy to have found him. Guy is absolutely hilarious, and the editing on his videos from what I've seen is incredible. You guys have all made my day.
See this is why these collaborations are so amazing. Grew up watching mythbusters with my grandpa and went through my teenage years watching gavin screw around in games, on podcasts, and in slow motion. And now you guys have introduced me to Bobby Fingers, who im going to go check out now. I truly hope you guys make more things happen together, even if its some random video again, Adams engineer brain could come up with some awesome stuff to help with Gav and Dans demolition shoots or just something with guns or air compressors. And i would LOVE to see that old school mythbusters mentality of always ending it with the biggest possible bang!
Poking in on all three of you because this brought a beautiful smile. can't stop smiling with just the energy and excitement.Thank you all so much. A dream of mine to see you all working together!

That opening was the most mythbusters-adam clip I've seen on this channel XD
The mutual respect of each others' craft is heartwarming to see. I'm so happy you guys got to do this and equally happy *we* got to see it too.
any time you’re able to collaborate with Gav and Dan in the future would be such a true delight, much as this meeting was.
both of your penchants for sweet chaos and silly “oh! that was great, but what if we…?” moments are such a beautiful match for entertaining content.
even if you never collab with them again, a genuine thank you for saying yes to this one; it’s instantly special and a meeting of worlds for me, as I grew up watching MythBusters as a kid and young teen, and spent my teenage into young adult years watching Gavin on his various productions with SloMo and RT.
Cheers! 🍻
just tacking on to say I had never heard of Bobby before your and SloMoGuys’ videos today. what a fantastic way to be introduced to a phenomenally talented creator, this video is just filled with greatness!
So glad you finally got around to hanging out with the Slowmo Guys.
I got a little emotional seeing Adam in this setting. Brought back memories of the old days.
1:28 "...feels like the old days of making the show. It's a lovely feeling."
This made me tear up. I miss Mythbusters more than I can put into words. Thank you Adam and Jamie, truly, so much for everything you did. You brought science and engineering to us in the best possible way.
2 englishman, an Irishman and an American walk into a quarry.
Ha!
And a bunch of fake birds!
I could watch a slow mo guys/ Adam collab weekly juss sayin. This brought me so much joy. This is so mythbusters I love it!
I'm just watching an old Mythbusters right now, complete with then-amazing slowmo footage, wondering (as I do when I watch MB lately) when the Slowmo Guys are going to collab with Adam. And today's the day I get to be really happy.
"it's just best if they're unconscious"
One liners like that one remind me of the old days of Mythbusters.
Thank you Adam for really spearheading the on-set direction. I have to say these channels made a perfect trinity of videos in their own style and everybody nailed it. Much love
Here binge watching over 20yrs of bobby fingers career.the most under appreciated irish person ever.he is art, sattire, comedy, story telling everything he has done in 20yrs has made an impact in my life, keep doing what ye are doing ❤❤ hope to see a museum or art gallery of bobby fingers some day❤
As fan of all 3 channels, this is indeed the dream collaboration. It was especially great to see all parties enjoying this, making it best kind of video: enjoyable for all parties. Adam, you have geniuenly been an inspiration to numerous people across the world!
That’s awesome! I’m so happy to see Mythbusters and Gavin from slowmo guys doing a collab!!!
Bobby Fingers is absolutely the best channel on RUclips!
cant get much better than a colab with the Slow Mo Guys, Gav and Dan are the best
I feel like their branding is much more 'two lads got an expensive piece of tech' but it rules that behind the camera they're very much experts in their field.
man when bobby made that bezos boat i knew he was gonna blow up. glad he's getting this sort of exposure.
A dude I used to work with was hit my falling "dead" canadian goose. It hit the lens of his shoulder camera and broke the viewfinder off with his face.. knocking him out. It was fantastic!
How much of a fan Adam is of Bobby just made my year. Dude is under appreciated.
I'm glad that for this shoot they got Adam Savage, pneumatic bird launching expert.
My son was born just about the same time Mythbusters hit the air and I spent many an evening tending to him, and later my daughter, watching the show. Later we watched together every week. Now they’re in college, and this was like a nostalgia bomb going off.
Best team up since Avengers!
Ha!
So much Mythbusters in this video. Looking forward to watching all three channels versions.
Such delicious nostalgia ... can't believe it's been 21 since mythbuster's first aired
This HAVE to be a recurring thing, "new mythbusters" with Adam, Slow Mo Guys and Bobby!
my favorite part of this video is how fanboy excited Adam gets meeting and colabing with other artists and youtubers. Like dude, you're Adam freaking Savage!
Its hard to explain the nostalgia from hearing Adam yell 3 2 1 then some weird wild stuff happening. I wish I could go back and watch all of Mythbusters for the first time again.
I have wanted a collab of this for so long. Thanks, Adam, for joining the team that brought me to RUclips, The Slow Mo Guys. This was so much fun.
Adam....OMG you were the responsible person of the group! This was just hysterical. Thank you so much! ❤
Bobby's is the most under-rated channel on RUclips, SO glad to see this collaboration with such natural pairings!
Can I say that the very first shot of Adam in the quarry with a giant air cannon and a ballistic gel bird brought on a wave of nostalgia
I love knowing that, for as much as Gav and Dan and Booby are fans of Adam, he is just as much a fan of them. And that's so awesome!
One thing I love is RUclipsrs being big fans of each other and then getting together to make something awesome
It’s really lovely when people working together have a mutual admiration and respect for each other and their work.
10:26 "I nailed it on the first try." Well, hey - it's ALMOST like you knew what you were doing, Adam!
He was seriously stressed about it.
I think it's funny that the hairless Fabio silicone face looks just like Matt Parker from Numberphile. That shoot looked like it was an awesome time and I'm happy it brought some Mythbusters nostalgia for you!
A trifecta with Adam Savage, Slow Mo Guys, and Bobby Fingers.....it just can't get any better.
Also....so touching and amazing knowing what you achieved with the mythbusters crew meant as much to you as it did to us. You guys really did something special. And RIP Grant.... 🙏🙏🙏
One of the rare times I hear the Slow Mo Guys curse, and it's on this channel. One of the rare times I hear Adam curse, and it's on their channel. I love it.
I'd love to see more collaboration between Adam and the Slow Mo Guys. It's worlds colliding in a perfect way.
im SO glad all 3 channels have their own videos of this i love all of you guys so much
Adam, I watched the slo mo guys vid first and was so happy to see you there. Such a fan, you make these things so enjoyable to watch and at the same time, educate the rest of us. Thanks.
Thanks SO, SO much with the collaboration. Amazing
This brought some serious joy and nostalgia. An unbelievably cool collaboration.
So glad you feel that way! So fun for us
The collab we always wanted
Oh this is great! Two of my 3 favorite channels doing a collaboration. Way to go, Adam!
When 2 worlds collide. Been following Gav since the early days of Achievement Hunter and Adam from the beginning of Mythbusters. Never once thought I'd see both on the same screen.
Awesome! Been hoping for this collaboration for years!
This is the dream collaboration i never expected, and am thankful I am here to see.
Three of the greatest creator channels on any medium
Ngl if these guys all came together and made their own mythbusters episodes for youtube I would watch the hell out of that.
