Of all my years spent watching RUclips videos, this video is hands down the best damn thing I've ever witnessed. It literally has everything I want in one video. From crafting, storytelling, trippy scenes, and a fully choreographed dance and song about a man's fear of revenge sibling sex. This is peak entertainment.

I made a better one a few years back but I threw it away and burned the footage of me doing it cuz I figured no one would be interested. I'm kinda kicking myself now though after seeing how many views and likes this guy got. Part of me is thinking that I should make it again but then people would claim I'm simply copying this guy. "Admonition to Dickie" is definitely my favorite Michael Jackson song.
I really thought that was a Michael Jackson song until I started listening to the lyrics, and then I thought "this has to be a parody or spoof of one of his songs" but even then, it doesn't seem to be the case. It's just a completely original joke song that sounds exactly like Michael's work and that alone is impressive enough. The whole process of meticulously sculpting everything and putting it all together is so amazing, I can't even wrap my head around how long that must all take to do, on top of the additional editing and filming for everything else surrounding making the video. I'm blown away by all of it, keep up the great work.
It's much like Weird Al's song that was a pastiche of Devo, which prompted the following reaction from Mark Mothersbaugh: "I was in shock. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard. He sort of re-sculpted that song into something else and... I hate him for it, basically."
Wierd Al calls these "style parodies," and he has done them throughout his career. "Germs" is a style parody of Nine Inch Nails and "Trigger Happy" is a Beach Boys parody.

The moment I finished writing this, it transitioned into the "Dicky don't fuck my sister" music video. Mr. Fingers, you contain multitudes and they're all absurd.
I would argue these are a bit more than shitposts though they share gag styles. They are, to me, a reminder that these abusive men are just piddly humans and do not deserve to be protected from the consequences of their actions.

The Divine Comedy was written partially as a fuck-you to Dante's political rivals and professional enemies. Several figures in the paintings on the Sistine Chapel were people that Michaelangelo disliked and thus put them into Hell. Georges Perec wrote a whole novel without the letter E just as a flex, and Joyce wrote Ulysses both to show off his education and to flummox readers and critics. One may both shitpost and achieve high art.

I rewatched that part so many times to try to see if this guy actually sawed his finger for a RUclips video. It also looks like the edge of the acrylic sheet in the next shot is a bit f'ed up from getting kicked by the saw, but I can't tell if that's a hint or just a visual glitch.

This video feels like mental ASMR, obviously it’s relaxing but the way Bobby goes in and out of random tangents seamlessly while talking about his creation keeps my brain captivated the same way I’d stay in an ASMR video for the sounds. Not to mention the ridiculously gorgeous camerawork and effort on the build. This channel is an absolute gem in the uninspired world of RUclips with those over stimulating Mr Beast imitations.

This has quickly become my favorite youtube channel. The mix of cinematic shots and craftsman ship that goes into one of these videos is just amazing, especially when you consider the incredibly niche subjects of Bobby's videos. I have to say, as a life long fan of the rubberbandits, I find it both fascinating and comforting that even though the two lads from my home town that got me through hard times with laughs arent making content together its still lovely to see the two show off their individual skills. Blindboy with his writing and podcast and mr chrome with his hypnotising and awe inspiring special effects. Fair played to the both of ye. Hopefully we'll see ye again for a chat one day but if not, I just wnat you to know that i have never, since the age of 7, not been a fan of the two of ye. I selected this video on a whim. This is the first Bobby Fingers video I've ever watched. Within the first 10 seconds I was enraptured. I watched the entire video without blinking, despite the uneasy, voueuristic feeling that I shouldn't be witnessing anything that intimate.
