My Perfect Picnic | Greek Salad and Sparkling Lemonade

- There are a few small details that make up a perfect picnic for me. I prefer something bubbly to drink, french bread to rip with my hands, and a dark chocolate bar for dessert. In this video I show you how to prepare a simple greek salad and how to enjoy it picnic-style on the grass in the park.

A lovely way to reflect and relax without technology for a while.
Salad, baguette, a selection of cheeses and a bottle of white wine for a lazy park concert picnic. That mixture of juice and sparkling water is awesome, I like it too :)
Definitely need a bottle of wine for my perfect picnic, but all of this looks amazing and healthy! :)

+Abby K I guess if you are very sensitive to onions, but no self respecting chef would EVER do this, it changes the texture and flavor, believe it or not but many people actually like onions, but Dot seems like she is friggin alergic to them, especially with the whole In&Out burger onion smell!!!!!!, she should probably just omit them.
Timothy Gil Not everyone is a chef nor cares to be one. I'd rather make food the way I want it rather than how people say it's meant to be done. There aren't rules to it honestly.

Looks like you had an elegant picnic with real plates and silverware. I really want to try the strawberry lemonade. Nice touch with the basket. My picnic would consist of burgers, hotdogs, chips, potato salad, slaw, brownies. I would use paper plates and cups. When we go to wine country, we have assorted cheeses, hard salami, crackers, chips, and wine in wine glasses. Terri

My husband and I usually do Subway for picnics. we'll just get a sub to go and go on a hike and eat it halfway
I love having handheld food for picnics like sandwiches, meat pies or tacos. A perfect dessert would be cupcakes or mixed fruit (in a jar for easy handling).

I've traveled in Greece, and that salad ("Horiatiki") is actually available all over the place. They serve it with pita & tsatziki, but French bread would be fine too.

+kalabac Yeah you're right. Chopping up a few vegetables and mixing some 1.99 sparkling water with juice is so over the top and snobbish. A bed sheet? Pssh..no one has one of those lying around. Too much effort for a date with someone I love. Better to just take em to McDonalds & GET ER DONE in the 4X4.
