- Important: If you want to upgrade your laptop make sure you check the product page to check for compatible ram modules. For the lenovo ideapad gaming 3 - 15ARH05 in this video we use a samsung 8gb ddr4 sodimm with 3200mhz clock speed and 22 cas latency.
First I show you how to upgrade the laptop with a second 8GB of Ram. Later you can see the upgrade into practice, comparing 8gb vs 16gb of ram. 16gb is really the minimum nowadays and can give you a bunch of needed extra FPS, also allowing you to use extra applications while gaming such as discord or videocapture software.
The 15ARH05 model supports up to 32gb of DDR4 SODIMM ram, using 2 sticks of 16gb.

which is better 8gb ram but only 17ghz or 6gb ram but only 2.60 ghz
If you have to choose between those I would go for more ram with slower speed. I don't understand though how these examples can relate to this specific laptop.

Would the ram Kingston FURY Impact DDR4, 3200MHz, 8GB work on this laptop?
I believe it would work as it is the same size and speed. Make sure the cas latency is identical too. Look up the laptop models' parts on the lenovo laptop website to know what to look for.

I feel like it would be good enough for graphic design. However the screen quality, brightness and colours might not be.
Lemme answer, no. The display only has 45% NTSC which around 55-65% sRGB. At least go get a 100% sRGB display or 72% NTSC.

For sure the rtx 3050 combination. About 30% performance increase. There should be no significant bottleneck with the processor.

This one has a 60hz display. The lenovo ideapad gaming 3 comes in many different options.
I don't understand how then why the msi fps meter is showing more than 60fps
@@kedharnath9876 The game itself can play at a higher fps than the screen. However you will only see it at 60fps on the screen. Still even if your screen only shows 60fps a higher game fps will lead to a more fluent and reactive gaming experience.

For the RTX version, you have 120hz for R5 5600H and 165hz for R7 5800H variants.
I recently got this laptop (8GB model) - I am trying to play Call of Duty - MW2 ,, All i keep getting is different error messages upon launching the game- would upgrading RAM to 16gb fix this at all? - legit tried everything possible on the actual laptop and still nothing seems to get it working

is 80° above temp ok ?
Graphics card temps up until 92°C should be ok. Above that you get thermal throttling. Haven't had any of those issues myself so far.

As the rule of thumb, never let it exceeds 90 oo C plus. You can also use the cooler pad.

get the 3200hz not the 2400hz if your laptop can go at the max 3200hz or more use it when you use lower ones it degrease the pixels and everything

This not ram problem if u playing on low sitting u dont use full power gpu if u playing on high sitting u use 100%of gpu

I dont know how is this posible. But i have same Laptop same specs. And at full Hd resolution in Cod whit stock dual 8gb samsung cl 22 i have Fps avg 90/140 locked if i run unlimited hit Avg 190 but i dont recomend that is hard for masine. Then i have Much beter temps Gpu Never pass 60/62c and my Cpu Neva go over 80/81 c after 3/4hours off playing Cod WarZone. So i dont know what u show but or i got beter chip or u didnt set up laptop nice. I see i need to make video to help people, whit laptop in this Mad Price time. So if i put 16gb or 32gb my gonna be even beter. Lower your temps brother shot down termaltrottling in registy editor,and change values for Gpu,few more stuff.gonna get Much beter score. Turn Radeon Boost to 50%,Gpu scaling Anti lag. And this is must for Gpu 1650 use driver 471.12 is still Best for Fsp and stability and for Amd 21.8.2. Salute

Yeah same here seen loads of cp2077 benchmarks ryzen 1050ti for example and my ideapad pull at least 10-15 more fps mine is intel and gtx 1050 4gb only added 8gb ram and 2.5" 500gb ssd dont know how?
