The Mind Electric [WARRIORS OC ANIMATIC)

Strikestar, driftkit, adderstrike, and heronsight
Better description- hello hello! This is a video about my new warrior cat OCs I’ve been cooking up! Meet driftkit, his father is adderstrike and mother is heronsight. Adderstrike had sadly passed away before he was ever born, and heronsight got brutally mauled by a rogue only a week after given birth.
The orphaned kit in the clan was soon adopted by strikestar, but even though his parents are there in the real world. They visit him frequently in his dreams, being visited by his father who was wrongfully placed into the dark forest, and visited by his mother who just wants to be with her love once more. The kit walks through both walks of life, both Starclan and the dark forest he is free to walk in while he sleeps
However unknown to everyone, his parents included, it is taking a toll on his body, being such a young kit, he is ill prepared to visit such worlds. But while he’s able to escape these worlds during the day when he’s awake. it seems he’s starting to get visions while awake now too..
This creepy ghostly cat follows him around, showing him signs and prophecies that confuse the young Kit. It is unknown what this spirit cat is, does it belong to Starclan? The dark forest?
Or neither?…

MAN I love this! Not only is your simple use of color really effective, but I love how easy to follow the story is. A lot of times oc pmvs/animatics are hard to follow if you don't know the lore, while here the lore certainly adds to the context, but without it you can still clearly tell what's going on for the most part. Serious props on this!

I really love the concept of the kit being able to visit his parents while sleeping, in the Dark Forest or in the Starclan. The way you draw catsssssss aaaaahhh_

Dead parents that love each other with shared custody in heaven and hell?!?!? Are they both secretly evil or is the one in the df actually good? Regardless, it's a great dynamic, I don't think I've ever seen df and Starclan cats that love each other.......typically it ends in death.

The one in the darkforest was wrongfully placed in there! He was accused of something he never did but Starclan being poopy whisked him away. Both parents are good people who just miss their only child 🥲 I finally put a description down so that explains it a bit! (I forgot when the video came out whoopsie)
