you've made a Walschaerts Valve Gear, but have you ever tried any of the other types of valve gears? Like the baker valve gear or stephenson valve gear. If you can make those that could open up more compact designs.

@@Jotrain if i recall from looking at the builds you've made you've effectively made both walschaerts and Stephenson Valve Gear because of your locomotive with the interior valve gear using stephenson valve gear or atleast a very similar
i was planning to build to piston powered locomotive type engine on a landship will this engine help me move a ship or do i need more powerful engine cuz i need help im new to this type of concept
When I played Scrap mechanic I used to make a simple basic version of this mechanism. Even two pistons can move giant building.
