Who is the keyboard player in JoJo Live? He has white shoes and stripe multi-color shirt? Boz sings “Look out behind you, JoJo has his gun.... “ as Boz dances and sings behind Piano Player. Very underrated singer, songwriter and musician of the mid to late 70s and early 80s. Thanks Boz for making my high school years and my early days in the military so enjoyable with some great jams. You're the best.
My Dad introduced me to Boz Scaggs. I remember the album cover where he’s wearing the dark pink blazer. I was 10 in 1976. I grew up with the best music of the Bay Area. I never realized how much him and SRV look alike. listening to this music brings back great memories of my youth. I was thinking about it the other day that people in my age group saw some of the fastest shifts in society through technology. I literally went from being the youngest kid of 5, having to get up and adjust the TV😂 to today. The weird fact that Back to the Future has pretty much happened, no pun intended, minus the flying car and time travel. 🙄❤️
IN the 70s, music was becoming free of racial boundaries. Whomever sang a good song no matter genre, was appreciated, accepted and cheered, if they did it right. Boz Scaggs was at the right place at the time on his record contract for a white boy singing like a soul brother!

That is some serious 2am Vegas, the Strip, Saturday night, a dark smoky lounge, a beautiful woman slow dance music. Smoother than the finest bourbon.
Nailed it brother!!!!
I love the sound of that
Damn this is killer sounding. Boz got soul!
THE SEVENTIES OLDIES MUSIC WAS THE BEST MUSIC COMPARED TO TODAY'S MUSIC THAT'S Played ON THE RADIO Facts ❤❤❤❤❤
Jojo was from 1980 but your statement is true nonetheless.
Very sadly I miss truly my beloved year & want to go back to 1980 & before, best times and carefree innocent life great again
real musicians - with real instruments
From Toto
That's right!!!!😎🎸🎵🎶
This is Carlos Vega on drums...and Randy Kerber on piano...I think they were touring with Boz at the time. Jeff P. was on the album.
These days of music mastery are long gone....😔
With real imagination. The song takes you into Jojo's life as you can envision it as if you were there. Now that's creativity at its best!
The one and only Boz Scaggs
I saw him at the Ryman in Nashville a week or two ago. At 75, he still sounds like he did in him prime - awesome!
Damn his music was SMOOOTH! Love it!
I saw Boz Scaggs in concert last month. The guy is almost 80 and he’s still got it. Great musicians with him. He showcased and gave kudos to his band several times. He’s a class act.
I missed him when he was here in Chicago a few weeks ago. I found out after the fact!😢
I love his voice & he was so handsome in his younger years.
San Francisco days..
Ah 1970s...He knew Everybody..
Introduce Yourself..
BOZ, A REAL COOL DUDE, LOVE THIS VIDEO.
I remember this well, it was one of my girlfriend(now wife) and I favorite songs back when it first came out - great to rediscover it here on RUclips. I love his interactions with the other artists.....he's one great performer. I added this video to my channel's "Awesome things that interest me" folder.
WONDERFUL
Saw him in 79 at PPAC prov. R.I.
Was awesome then, and still love his music.
Very underrated artist !!
I was in Newport on Bellevue and heard him at the Tennis Hall of Fame in the 90s
LOVE me some BOZ ALWAYS!!!! He is still the BOMB!!
Really love the soul sisters on back up vocals. Just perfect 👌
