- In an outspoken and critical interview which will upset the BJP government and enrage its supporters, Tavleen Singh has repeatedly compared the Narendra Modi government, its legislation and its attitude to muslims to Nazi rule in Germany in the 1930s. She called the Citizenship Amendment Act “India’s first Nuremberg law”. She repeatedly speaks of Modi’s attitude and treatment of muslims alongside Hitler’s treatment of jews. She says just as Hitler’s Nuremberg laws singled out jews and treated them differently to other Germans so, too, does the Citizenship Amendment Act single out muslims and treat them differently to other Indians.

It's simply really: tell the news publications to grow a pair and report actual news. Bhakts have to get their news from somewhere just like the rest of the people; the only issue is that most of the prominent news publications are shackled by the balls by the government, so you'd have to be fairly discerning in order to call bullshit when you see it. Seeing as India's education system isn't going to turn into that of Singapore's or Finland's overnight, nor are the hundreds of millions of people who are already grown adults going to learn how to think critically overnight, fixing news dissemination is the most effective way to fix them.

Anyone who claims to have covered RSS extensively and against the backdrop of 2002, hoping Modi would strengthen India positively, seems hard to believe.
Lastly, the shining comet on a dark sky and the reason that PM in UPA government was controlled by Chairperson of Congress is pretty dumb thing to say in the context of Indian politics. Are we to believe Modi controls RSS and its not the other way around? Didn't we see Vajpayeeji spend his political capital in keeping a leash over RSS? Congress was running a coalition and the chairperson of the largest party in the coalition will be a key decision - maker on policy matters. Didn't Balasaheb Thackerey loved remote control. Isn't NDA and Modi run the administration via a remote control, euphemistically speaking?

On occasions, Karan Thapar pretty much takes words out of Tavleen’s book and feeds thoughts back into the interview, instead of asking questions & seeking Tavleen’s explanations; He sometimes pre-empts the discussion!
Under any circumstances, Tavleen has more balls to than most Indians; to actually say the truth! Comparison to Nazi Germany may not be too misplaced! Good on you Tavleen!!

I respect Tavleen Singh and appreciate her opinion. 1) PM Modi is still living like a hermit in his residence, without bringing even his mother. We don't see the ugly sight of 83 family members staying in the Presidential Palace as a Congi did. 2) Though demon had a solid reason (Rs.4000 Crore counterfeit money coming for terror funding) it was a bit of a hasty decision. But the wonder of wonders Sh. Modi got the full support of the masses and implemented it successfully by trial and error. Subsequent jump in tax collections is the measure of success (Did these two lose big chunk of money?) 3)Advisors, economic or otherwise, should understand that their job is over when they give the advice. Accepting it and implementing it is the PM's prerogative. 4) Is there any problem with our economy? Did any Govt in the past gave more importance to infrastructure than the present Govt? Are we not well off in comparison with many rich countries? 5) Imagine Pappu at the helm of affairs at the time of Covid. What would have happened to our country? India achieved 150 crore jabs today, all free of cost. 6) I agree tourism sector need more reforms and initiatives. The Govt should pay more attention. 7) Lynching of one man in a country of 130 Crore a big deal? Why put the blame on Sh. Modi and not on Akhilesh Yadav the CM and his coteries in U.P? Two lynching happened inside a Gurudwara few weeks before and everyone is silent in Punjab including the CM. 8. PM put Thapar in the right place and his anger is understandable. His attempt to put words into her mouth is obvious. It is a discussion of two frustrated people. I fail to understand the frustration of Tavleen singh.
