I always tried to make the parties my kids were invited to, because one, my parents taught me it was rude to spurn an invitation, and two, because I always felt if we attend yours, you will attend ours

I agree with the mom about her child. I homeschool. Not to be different but because I can teach my own children. I know how the learn best and how to reach them. I teach them about real life and to have values, and to apply the bible to life. She's teaching her child through life. And that's the best way in my opinion.
Did your children have any structure when you homeschooled or was it “free school” as she described it?
@@bennystake We started off as free school. This helps the child get out of the normal school like mindset. Structure comes later, but sometimes I just say "no school today, we're going on a field trip to target " We go to target and they learn to budget and about money (if it's age appropriate).
