I will never forget when a man told me on TikTok that I have a few more years before it’s all “ over for me “. I was 26 when he said that. Now I’m 28. I’m in a relationship and men were approaching me when my man and I went on a cruise even though my man was standing right there. One guy even tried to dance with me while my man was across from me recording me dancing. Of course I said no but yeah I’m just making a point that women don’t stop getting hit on when they are close to 30 or when they turn 30. Even my grandma who is in her 70’s still gets approached by men around her age. Ladies don’t listen to these delusional men online. I feel like I’m in my prime now at 28. ❤

These men need to work hard and afford their wives a kitchen with an open floor plan and an island. That way they can both be in the kitchen and watching football at the same time.😁 Or pay for a small tv or ipad in the kitchen. There's options. Laziness isn't one. My man cooks. That was a non-negotiable for me because growing up seeing my dad do absolutely nothing irritated me beyond belief seeing as my mom worked even more than my dad.

Do you think this phenomena is a Western thing? I'm a 50+ year old American. my dad would cook when mom was in school. When she graduated and went to work, they shared the responsibility, along with me and my brother. I say that to say, this phenomena is new. and it is getting worse.
I’m not sure where it really started but I’m noticing it in a lot of cultures that I’m around. So glad that was not your experience though

I told my bf (we live together) that if he wants me to do all the things of a stay at home partner, he needs to make me a stay at home partner. I told him, take over my bills and all of the household bills & I'll do it all....but until then, we share all responsibilities here booboo.
Unbeknownst to him tho, I would NEVER be a stay at home, I need to make my own money, always & forever.
