as a dancer, i think half of the comments don’t realize how technically challenging this dance is. it’s hard to get all of the isolations clean, and it was executed extremely well. the formations were on point too! this was iconic.
I know what you mean. As a CG artist now imagine trying to get all those motions to a CG character without making look too robotic. I bow to all te team, dancers, singers an artists, programmers that make possibly this.
The Pop/Stars Choreo was insane already, this just delivered the same level of awesome choreography. The level of body coordination is insane, as any dancer will tell you.

@@owo4470 agreed. i dont dance but something just seems to be missing. the main problem for me is, it seems like choreographers from overseas prefer doing technically difficult choreographies that don't really enhance the song, but rather just show off their talents so all the parts look like a k/da dance off rather than a group performance (which is the main charm of kpop choreographies - maybe it's not that technically difficult, but it brings extra flavour to even the most bland songs and looks pleasing enough). the 1m choreo is not any better too. it's fast paced and complex but it's too aggressive. the song is supposed classy/royal and cool at the same time and none of the choreographies show that off :/
when the dancer that represents Seraphine enters the stage, she and Kaisa's dancer do a little ballett routine together, because Kaisa is the one with classical dance training and i just LOVE that detail
and many MORE details including that evelynn's lashers moment, ahri's nine tail and charm sequence, ahri and seraphine's cute interaction and oh i just love this choreography ^^

The animation did NOT DO THIS CHOREO JUSTICE OMG, just from Akali’s part in the beginning I knew this wasn’t going to be an easy choreography. AND THE CHORUS!!! The slow, small, controlled hand movements and suddenly SUPER FAST, BIG WHOLE BODY MOVEMENTS. It’s such an intricate dance I’m 😍 HEAD OVER HEELS 😍

i wanted to see the live version of this choreography so much! the girl that danced as akali perfectly captured her and soyeon's energy when dancing, and i love how seraphine connects with members one by one during the bridge, ultimately taking the center position during the finale. i will definitely try to learn some of the dance!
Idk why people are comparing this with 1millions, they're both great. This is the version that could be easier to learn for the fans and was probably also easier to translate into the animation required for KDA. Love both versions and the dancers are all 🔥🔥🔥

Well I'm gonna trigger you and compare them and say that this one is better because it captures the essence and personality of the characters perfectly. 1M's version has nothing to do with the characters. Cool moves, but it could fit almost any song you dance the choreo to.
Not only was this done so well, but the woman in place of Seraphine was just so into it that I feel it made the whole thing. Those smiles in the final Chorus were so genuine, it actually gave me goosebumps. Kudos to you, whomever you are. You have won.
Editing because people really misunderstood my comment and think I was criticizing the M/V when i'm doing the opposite: I originally thought the animation for the "more" gesture (at 1:04 in this video) was awkward in the official M/V. But after watching the choreo, I think the animators captured it really well. I thought the movement was a bit rigid and unnatural in the m/v, but now it seems like that's just part of the actual move in real life. It's a little stiff but on purpose. Or at least, it's unavoidable as it's not a move that can really be done softly. People don't really understand how difficult it is to model characters doing simple things like sitting or breathing, let alone dancing - let alone MULTIPLE models dancing. Watching the choreo lets me appreciate both the dancers (in real life) but also the work of the animators.
