Also for the popstars video, Madison is singing for the girl with the circular sunglasses, a character called Evelyn. Ahri (fox girl) and Akali (neon ponytail rapper) are voiced by kpop artists in G-IDLE, and Jaira Burns sings for Kaisa (girl with space buns and sick dance moves). They have more music videos by those girls that I would recommend, especially MORE by KDA and Villian by Madison and Kim. I LOVE league of legends cinema's; I hope you guys watch as many as you can because they're all worth it!
The GODS mv is actually about a player named Defts story. It shows all of the times he lost throughout the years (it animates the actual people he lost to, thats why you see the actual names on everyones back) and how he went from everyone doubting him to winning the world cup. There is s scene where his teammate Keria blocks an attack for him, resulting in him dying, and then later shows how Deft had to fight against Keria because they were on opposite teams. I really like all the references in it and its super cool, I recommended watching a vid explaining it if you get interested.
i have a long list cinematic the climb - season 18 awaken - season 19 warriors - season 20 the call - season 22 worlds legends never die - worlds 17 rise - worlds 18 phoenix - worlds 19 burn it all down - worlds 21 heavy is the crown - worlds 24 (is about to start, you should check it out, is the biggest e-sports event in the world) music videos (league of legends has its own bands and groups, and the singers/musicians are represented by the champions in the game with skins) kda - more kda - villian (just madison for the guys) kda - the baddest pentakill - mortal reminder (they have just one music video, but two whole albums and even an interactive album experience) true damege - giants heartsteel - paranoia
As someone who's been into Kpop for nearly a decade, K/DA is so accurate, the creators really did their research into kpop music videos, because the choreography, the concept shots, even the laundry room shot, all felt straight out of real kpop music videos to me
You guys should react to the video “Hall of Legends: Faker”. It’s a 37 minute mini-documentary on the game’s best and most famous player, that’s fascinating whether you’ve played the game or not. It’ll really give you the scale of how important he is in eSports, and he shows up in many League Cinematics, so it’ll pay off a lot when you guys know who he is while reacting to more. Pretty please!
Fun story, Arcane didn't get the final approval and had to go back to the drawing board but in order to keep Fortiche Studios open (the studio that does Arcane as well as other vids for RIOT), they pitched an idea for a K-Pop group and thus, K/DA was born. Without that hiccup, we wouldn't have gotten K/DA. Edit: K/DA also released an entire CD with videos as well. Hope you get a chance to look at all the songs. For Still Here, the quote is from Kindred: "Tomorrow is a hope, never a promise." Kindred is the personification of death, she is the Lamb (Bow) and the Wolf. The Lamb offers a peaceful death, the Wolf offers a violent death of a warrior. There are three different scenes: 1) The PAST: Morgana (purple angel) and Kayle (white angel), twin sisters fighting to save the Demacian refugee camp against Aatrox, a Darkin (demon) with a living weapon. "As a last resort, Morgana tapped into dark magics and summoned magical chains from the ground to restrain Aatrox. While restrained, Kayle fired a blast of holy flames at Aatrox, seemingly defeating him and his army." Aatrox though, can never die because he's a darkin. Kindred's image shows itself in the flames of Kayle's firey attack. 2) The (possible) FUTURE: Starts in a burning attacked town in Ioxia, an aged Yasuo (you saw him in Awaken/tornado samurai) fights against looters. BUT he is tired of war ergo he has no sword and if you look closely, he does not kill the attackers but knocks them out with the power of the wind. He pushes the final 'boss' attacker out of the way of the barrage of arrows and 'accepts his death.' You can see the Wolves' eyes in the forest and the main arrow that is shining is Kindreds. 3) The PRESENT: Tryndamere awaken in the 'death realm' to fight against Kindred AND the Wolf, Kindred shoots to offer him a peaceful death but he denies her. Then his eyes glow red as he goes into Berserker mode aka WILL NOT DIE which confuses Kindred (this also has to do with Tryn trying to fight Aatrox but I won't get into that). She then lowers her bow realizing she cannot take his life and that is when he wakes from 'the death realm' to reality and you realize that he was actually fighting off his attackers. Ashe (his future wife) appears and shoots her 'Hawk Shot' into the air to reveal more enemies approaching. The entire video is about life and death. Edit: If you want to actually know the lore, check out Necrit's channel.
Middle guy, since you love Arcane, the POP/STARS music video was also made by Fortiche, the French animation studio behind Arcane, mid-production of Arcane, they decided to go a different direction so Riot needed something for Fortiche to do, so Riot Music stepped in and offered Fortiche to make the MV.
For the final video, when the guy in the snowy area was fighting the wolf. The guy (Tryndamere)'s ultimate stops him from dying when at 1 hp for a certain amount of time. And he was fighting Kindred who is the character that represents death. Showing him literally fighting off death during his ultimate.
Whatever that "All LoL Cinematics" compilation video you saw was, it's lying. LoL has WAY MORE cinematics than the compilation has that it would go past 30 minutes. The game has been around for more than 10 years now. Naturally, it would have at least a few hours of cinematics+music videos+teasers.
Due to delay as Arcane was gearing up, Riot asked Studio Fortiche to do some other small projects including Pop Stars. In those smaller projects, Fortiche was able to iron out some techniques that made Arcane even better.
In my opinion, Awaken, Warriors (2020) and The Call are also must watch cinematics. Tales of Runeterra cinematics are too, if you wanna learn more about the world of League of Legends and it's different regions.
The creature at the end of still here is Kindred the manifestation of death in the league lore universe aswell as a playable character in the game. every character you see is either a champion or player with a backstory.
For those who wonder why it looks like Arcane's art, well, simply because the Arcane characters are part of League of Legends, so obviously the art style will be similar, plus League of Legends has its animated videos where part of the story is explained, and another thing, the characters that appear in the MVs as protagonists are representations of the League players.
My favorite thing about the last cinematic is in that last fight the guy, Tryndamere, actively strikes 4 times. He hits Wolf a few times and cuts an arrow from Lamb. Then his wife Ashe fires 2 arrows as he is pulled out of his fight with death, the Wolf and the Lamb. He is originally surrounded by 6 warriors. So he is both fighting the manifestation of death itself and 6 brutally trained warriors. Also I love the head tilt from Kindred when he breaks the bow and barely misses her with the sword. Looking at him like “You nearly killed me, Death. You came that close to killing death, no one’s done that before.”
The strong dude fighting in the snow was battling the twin aspects of death, The Kindred, which is comprised of the Lamb (whose arrows grant a swift and peaceful death) and the Wolf (who offers a warrior’s death in battle). This dude was so angry *he fought them off*.
There are so much more League Cinematics, I would love if you could react to more of them! (like The Call, Warriors, the KDA songs...) Also reacting to a Worlds Game would be fun too
Fortiche animation studio in France did the animation for both Arcane and for Pop/Stars. They actually did the music video while they were waiting for approval to proceed with Arcane. Madison Beer is Evelyn, the redhead with the glasses. Jaira Burns is Ka'isa, with the shoulder guns and purple hair buns. Miyeon and Soyeon from G-IDLE are Ahri (the nine-tail fox) and Akali the rapper, respectively.
Little Lore for you guys, the lamb and the wolf are literally death in the LoL universe. You can see glimpses of them through out all 3 of the settings. In the end the guy in the snow Tryndamere, is quite literally fighting death and won.
Ahri (9 tail fox) is voice by Miyeon (vocalist) and Akali (the assasin that has paints kinda thing) is voice by Soyeon (main rapper and leader) both girls are from (G)-IDLE, YOU SHOULD CHECK THEIR MUSIC ITS A BOP!
its worth to watch finals of the Worlds. Opening Ceremony is a big show and the stage is the biggest. Also Madison is in another KDA song called MORE and also in KDA "Villain"
Definitely yes for more LOL content. You should react to the world's 2023 opening ceremony (with gods by NewJeans live) and well world's 2024 are starting tomorrow with a new song out!
God shows 2022 winners and the main character was "Deft" he is know to have been in the same school as Faker (the most succesful League Player ever) but never could beat him. In 2022 Deft faced Faker again in the World's finals and finally won. That's why they dedicated this to him and painted him as the underdog. They started in school and them you can see Deft going through several losses with different teams and even has to face old team mates to win. (Spoiler: In 2023 Faker won the Worlds Finals for the 4th time in his career) also this is not a newjeans song they’re just singing it their songs sounds nothing like this if you like this style you can check more league of legends music :)
For the last one, the man is Tryndamere and one of his spell is that he can't die for a certain amount of time. He is fighting Kindred who symbolizes death. Then Ashe arrives and saves him.
Bear in mind, cinematics for "Worlds" in league of legends tend to focus on the stories of previous "worlds tournaments", so they may include the players playing as their champions. And cinematics that were released for start or end of the season are about LORE and contain only the champions in their respective stories.
Tldr summary of the last part, the lamb and wolf are the incarnation of death, and in all three scenes are coming to reap the characters in scene. In the first, she just watches, because the one she’s there to claim is immortal (Aatrox, the demon looking guy). In the second, the lamb grants yasuo (old sword man) a peaceful death via her arrow. In the third, she works with wolf (who comes for those who refuse lamb’s arrow) to claim tryndamere, but he, because of aatrox (that’s another story) also cannot die, and during his “undying rage” is fighting death itself, but is actually fighting the remaining soldiers from the beginning of the video, that surrounded him. The illusion was broken when his wife, Ashe, killed the last two soldiers… he had killed the rest during his battle with death.
I have my own ordered playlist, of all the League related videos Riot Games has produced, link attached to the bottom. It's comprehensive with all things related to the game's champions. Generally, it has all short-form teasers, trailers, and cinematics they've created in there. Skin-related and Esports-related contents have been omitted as the original intention was to maintain an in-universe lore-related playlist. Exception is only if they are a tie-in to an actual champion reveal/lore (ex: 🌸 Spirit Blossom and Yone ). Checkout the playlist description as well! I've added extras in the playlist. Such as - 🗣[1] Some BTS commentary from the creators giving more details about champion cinematics further expanding on lore knowledge, concepts, & perspective. - 🎶[2] Champion Themes : Out of everything I'd say, the Champion Themes are the most skippable if that is not what you are looking for. (Music Videos are not the same as Champion Themes). As the ones with lyrics are specifically written to give more understanding about the champion's lore, in addition to some having art, skins, & other visuals about their (re-)development process, I would still say they are worth a watch/listen. Could be for fun off-camera - 🤖[3] Some umbrella videos that are about side mediums such as Arcane, other games (Legends of Runeterra, Riot Forge, etc.), & writings (comics/books) 📝Note: At some point in the mid/late 2010s, Riot began incorporating the in-game engine into their champion teasers/trailers. They have been included because they give insight about who the champion is and their personal traits (abilities, ideals, voice lines, etc.) Even with this playlist, there are many champions that lack dedicated or are featured in official videos! From a long-time player since 2011, have fun enjoying the series and the world of League- possibly esports if you end up deciding to! ruclips.net/p/PLjvHaArRR1jqhuVRHfhiVtolopeyhWphb
Well the first part at 4:26 is “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” by Panic! At The Disco, but the second song at 4:43 is from a movie music called The Greatest Showman
I don't know if it's already been mentioned: In the third video the theme is DEATH. the "big monster" dies fighting, the guy with the sword accepts death. Closing his eyes and the last one he "wins" over death. The red eyes are part of his story Basically he becomes immortal because of the fury he carries. And it wouldn't be the first or the last time he faces Kindred (death) the wolf for those who want to fight against death and the "sheep"For those who accept. If you're interested in this concept, I recommend you watch the video that has all of Kindred's lines of dialogue. It's very deep and beautiful.
The wolf and lamb are known as kindred together. They represent death, in the final scene the dude (tryndamere) fighting is actually him fight real mean, kindred is just what he sees. If you watch it back you can see that, at the end of the first scene, lamb's shadow appears in the flames. In the second scene just before the arrow hits, you can see wolf's eyes in the tree line. Both symbolize death.
Very fun video guys, it's a treat seeing you get so excited about both the songs and videos. I think the fandom would jump at reactions to any of League's massive video library of music videos and cinematics. We LOVE seeing new people react and fall in love with the music and world. If you are at all interested in the lore, which is massive as Arcane (just a very small part of it) can attest to, then checking out Necrit's videos is the way to go.
the 2023 theme song for LOL Worlds is still my favorite to date- they just released the MV for the 2024 Worlds..but the narrative of the MV and the song did not give me chills as much as 2023's...although, Linkin Park is the artist chosen to sing for this year.
that mv is story of the underdog player in championship and every character on that mv are real pro player.. and thats fight from lastest world championship
I shall be the paragraph person and explain what’s happening I’ll be including some short hand KR = Korean Team LPL = Chinese Team EU = European Team NA = North American Team JPL = Japanese team VCS= Vietnamese team (yes they have their own region don’t ask I too don’t understand but god if it isn’t hilarious how much they throw a screw in everyone’s gameplay) OCE = Oceanian Team LLA = Latin American Team PCS = Pacific team GODS (New Jeans) The main character is Deft, ad carry (role) for Dplus Kia (team) at the time. The antagonist is Faker, midlaner (role) for T1 (team) basically this is one of the songs made for the World Series. It basically goes over Deft’s story (Korean high school where he went to the same school as Faker albeit I believe he’s younger than Faker and therefore not in the same year or class as him irl), deft was good at the game (see also him playing Ezreal (character) and fighting blue buff (epic monster)) but not nearly as good as Faker (playing Zed (character) fighting Baron Nashor (Global neutral buff)) so while Faker went to worlds, Deft had to sit at home and grind since he wasn’t nearly good enough to become a pro yet, he’s finally gotten to the stage, on the team Samsung Galaxy Blue (SSG Blue, KR) but he’s up against the sister team Samsung Galaxy White (SSG White, KR), Deft playing Lucian (character) is getting hunted by PawN (player)’s Jayce who eliminated Deft in Worlds 2014 Next scene: Deft is playing Sivir (character) with his buddy Meiko (player, support) on Thresh (character) on Edward Gaming (EDG, team, China) in 2015 Worlds. However they’re up against Rekkles (player, ADC) on his signature Kennen (yes I also know that’s weird since Kennen is not normally a botlane but 2015 was a different story)(character) and is knocked out by Rekkles and his team FNATIC (EU) Deft then moves to KingZone DragonX (Team, KR) where he’s playing Senna (character) getting hunted by Invictus Gaming (Team, China)’s Ning (Player, Jungle role) on Graves (character) and Rookie (player, Mid role) on Syndra (Character) the dude jumping in is DRX Doran (player) on Jax (Character) and the guy jumping in to protect Deft is Kiera (player) on Braum (character) respectively playing Top and Support, this takes place during worlds 2019 Unfortunately after this elimination Deft hits a tough time and is considered “washed” or basically no longer in his prime (why he’s falling through a glass surface) and is drifting around on different teams, before being picked up by a new version of DRX and travelling to Worlds 2022, first opponent is Meiko, still on EDG, playing Renata Glasc (character) versus Deft’s Draven (character) whom he win against, next up is Doran on GenG (team, KR) playing Renekton versus Deft’s Varus (character), finally, in the finals, Deft is facing off against Keria, the support who saved his life earlier, on Karma (character) and Deft is on Caitlyn (character) now Keria is playing for T1 (remember how I said Faker is the antagonist? Yeah this is why) Faker on Viktor (character) drops in and kicks Deft in the face only to get counter punched/ganked by BeryL (player, support)’s Bard (Champion) portalling in all 4 other members of DRX, first to go in is Pyosik (player) on Hecarim (champion who rushes forward, knocking Faker off balance, he’s followed up by Kingen (Player) on Aatrox (champion), a distraction is created by Zeka (player) on Azir (champion) for Deft to land the killing blow, ending the finals series and giving them the victory Welcome to “I spend far too much time watching professional league of legends while hardstuck EU silver 4” Also the final scene is a preview of 2023’s worlds where more players are hunting for the trophy, we see Ayu (player, LLA/Brazil), Azhi (player, PCS) and Levi (player VCS) at least name dropped, I am sorry if I missed others KDA: Pop/Stars The girls here are playable characters in game, they’re Ahri (fox girl) Akali (Ninja Girl) Evelynn (Sexy dommy mommy demon) and Kai’Sa (girl with shoulder pads) STILL HERE: Welcome to the weird story, Kindred (character) who’s basically the in game version of Death is hunting for their victim (how does kindred work? Kindred is a two part being, one, Lamb, guides the souls who accept death kindly, whereas Wolf hunts those who try to run) We open on Tryndamere (character) in a clearing pretty badly wounded and outnumbered, he’s a bit of a special boy so we get back to him later, but not before we see a figure with a bow watching him We’re now watching the early days of Demarcia (region) being founded by the sisters Kayle (blonde hair) and Morgana (purple hair) but they are at war with a demon thing known as Aatrox (dude trying to punch the girls) he knocks them both to the ground where Morgana uses her ultimate in game (Binding Shackles I believe it’s called) to pin him to the ground and Kayle kills him via her passive (yeah idk how that works either, welcome to the cinematics not making sense video game wise) when Aatrox is burned we see a figure standing in the fire, on one leg with a hoofed foot and a bow (this is lamb, watching from afar) Next scene: we’re in Ionia (region) a group of bandits have clearly burned down a city and a young woman is fleeing the carnage only to trip and fall, an old man steps up to defend her, against the bandits, this man’s name is Yasuo (character) who’s a samurai who uses wind magic, he’s now old and has been on the run for a majority of his life (he is currently in the lore, this is a vision of the future and how he will die) before getting pummelled by arrows we see Wolf watching from the trees, this makes sense because Yasuo has been on the run for the murder of his master for the better part of 20 years by now (league came out in 2009 and he’s basically been running since then) even though he didn’t do it Back to Tryndamere in the forest (this is in Freljord, region) my man is straight up fighting death, this is where we get a good look at both Wolf and Lamb, he’s doing it during his ultimate in game (Undying Rage) due to an encounter with Aatrox, Tryndamere has the ability to get so angry he can’t technically die? Idk how that makes sense either, but once the rage wears off, Kindred transforms into Ashe (character) Tryndamere’s wife, who came to rescue her husband, video ends with Ashe shooting her hawk shot (e) into the sky to alert her tribe to their location Yes I have way too much time on my hands
The Still Here song, 3 stories one of past present and possible future. The past is Morgana and Kyale vs Aatrox. Before Demacia was built, Aatrox was going to destroy it but the two sisters managed to push him into a retreat, but not without Kayle hating Morgana for using magic that Kayle deemed below them. The possible future was Yasuo which could happen if he stays on the path he is on right now. The present is Tryndamere fighting Kindred (death). Tryndamere was kind of cursed by Aatrox with blood magic so he wont die in his undying rage, hence the red eyes. Ashe saved her husband (Tryndamere) by killing the enemy soldiers behind him
Please watch more league stuff. The cinematicts are just awesome and the world songs just create so much hype and set a nice mood for the games. Of course to anyone who has not watched arcane. Go watch it. In my opinion it is the best series i have seen. Not just animated series, the best overall. You don't need to know League of legends or any of its lore to watch it, yeah there are some eastereggs for people who know but i think sometimes not knowing some facts is an even better experience in this series. Some side notes about the animation. Fortiche is the studio that animated arcane and they have also animated a lot of the music videos and cinematics (i beleive Pop stars being one of them) they have been working with Riot (the company behind league of legends) for quite a long time now (for example arcane season 1 took ~6 years to create) and i think everyone is very happy about this partnership.
YES to more league content !! finish up the mvs-- league songs are genuinely really good; watching yall react to worlds without knowing about the game would be entertaining too, def watch the finals if you're going to make a video on that
you guys should definitely react to more league of legends contents, there are multiple cinematics and musics that are worth watching even for non players
So, I do strongly recommend continuing to watch and explore these music videos. It is kind of funny that you're pointing out similarities between these videos and Arcane, because the production studio behind these and Arcane is quite literally the same production studio. Their music video quality is off the charts, and my favorite thing about the songs is that they really have such a powerful "overcoming adversity to achieve greatness" energy to them. I massively respect that, and there is a reason I have a "LoL Inspirational" playlist XD Now, of these three, Still Here is probably the most interesting, because it is very in-game-lore driven. Necrit has done a very good breakdown of all of it. Just as a little teaser, in the third scene, the spectral wolf and the white-furred archer are literally that world's embodiments of death, and the character fighting is someone who goes into a berserker rage whenever he's close to death. But yeah, even the song itself just gives me chills, because, in my personal life, I've had a lot go sideways over the last several years, and the whole energy of "I'm not giving in, I'm still here" just hits very hard.
If you're interested in the lore, be sure to watch Necrit's videos. The one he did about Still Here was great. Also the video Gods is about Deft, a legendary pro player, winning the Worlds 2022 trophy. It's the story of his career, him having to face his former teammates in the 2022 championship and finally winning after 10 years of playing.
There's a lot of LoL content. I would suggest breaking it up into categories or interests. Arcane Season 1 show, Cinematic trailers, K/DA, MVs, Gameplay videos, Live Worlds concert videos, Lore videos, gameplay footage, Legend of Runeterra videos, Wild Rift videos, Teamfight Tactics videos, Bridging the Rift (after watching Arcane Season 1), Oldest to newest; there's too much content to fit into one reaction, so pick your poison. You don't have to pick everything, but there is tons to choose from.
Just for some context: the guy is Deft, a player that started since teen to play LoL, but his classmate Faker was better (In fact nowadays he's the greatest of all times of League of Legends). He then started the competitive career but without world cup, year after year with different teams. In 2022, he joined in a "underdog" team called DRX, and in the Worlds 22 Deft challenged all his former teammates who were in various teams. In the final they met T1, the team with the most world titles currently and which has as players his former teammate Keria and his former classmate Faker. The final ended 3-2 for DRX and Deft finally won his first world title.
The third video you reacted to is one of my favorite cinematics Riot Games has put out in a minute. The storytelling is following direct lore from the League of Legends Universe, and I won't do it justice but I can try. The quote from the beginning is from a character called Kindred, who is basically this universe's Death, and consists of the Lamb, which represents peaceful death, and the Wolf, which represents violent death. You're shown Tryndamere at first, who seems to be at the end of his rope, and as he gets up to fight his vision goes black. Then you get the story of Kayle and Morgana, who are sisters and celestials. In the video you see the moment Morgana gives up her celestial powers to tap into mortal magic and bind Aatrox (think Ares, the God of War) in order for her sister to strike the killing blow on him. In a blink-and-you-miss-it shot of the shadows, you briefly see the silhouette of the Lamb. The next scene is of a village in Ionia being raided by bandits, only to be stopped by an old Yasuo (think of a classic Ronin) who utilizes all of the skills he possesses to drive out the invaders. In the last shot of these scene, you see a final volley of arrows fly towards him, and shadowy face of the Wolf looms in the trees as an arrow finds its mark. The final scene brings us back to Tryndamere, who has the ability to manifest his rage to become immortal for a few moments. In the moments after he blacked out in the opening scene, we now see him fight the physical manifestations of Death, the Lamb and the Wolf, as he fights to stay alive and not give in to death. You see in one of the final moments that Lamb pauses and hesitates to fire their shot, as Tryndamere is returning to life, and in the next moment the Lamb is replaced by Ashe, his frost archer wife. This cinematic is cool in that it confirms that every single time Tryndamere uses his ultimate ability, he must subconsciously fight Lamb and Wolf in order to survive.
Fun facts! GODS tells the story of a player named Deft. In the first few seconds, in the classroom scene, we see him looking over to another boy in the same class. That guy is Faker, who would become arguably the best League player in the world and a national celebrity in Korea. We follow Deft as he struggles to make his own way to the top, and eventually faces off against his former classmate Faker and his team in the Worlds finals. The video is full of little easter eggs for those who are into the competitive scene. POP/STARS in particular looks like Arcane because it was animated by the same studio, Fortiche, during a break in production of the series. They also made the animation for the Worlds 2018 song, Rise.
reacting to the opening ceremony 2024 would be better than watching the tournament ;) funfact: the MV's popstars and RISE were both animated by Fortiche - the same studio that did Arcane Watching League seasonal cinematics always feel like watching a whole movie accompanied by great music. They have a very engaging way of story telling - the visuals and lore are the focus here. For the virtual music groups and music videos on the other hand they focus on the music accompanied by great visuals. For worlds songs the great part is that they animate real players into the video which is a big honor for them (the winning team also get a skinline designed dedicated to them). GODS is a story about a korean underdog team "DRX" which participated for the first time that won worlds 2022 in the final against the team "T1" who previously won the worlds cup already 3 times. The video tells the story of their road to glory. If you like cinematics of this caliber League is for sure great to react to but also WOW and Diablo cinematics from Bizzard - thematically for spooktober I would highly recommend Diablo cinematics ;D
It would be so good if they could actually get someone who knows the league champions and some of the lore to actually explain some of the things going on, especially in cinematics like Still Here. It would add that extra understanding and appreciation.
Welcome! xd Each cinematic has content for the Lore of the league, cinematics are not the same as music videos or World Cup videos. the cinematics, perhaps not so much the first ones, but a little bit before "Awaken" 2019 the lore of many of the characters begins to show. I would say that it begins in "Climb" which is the cinematic of 2018, previously the cinematics were more a sample of the game and the champions themselves. You should definitely watch them all and you should definitely watch the "Still here" video explanation. Greetings from Argentina.
New jeans is a kpop girl group and KDA has two voices from the K-pop girl group G-IDLE, soyeon and Miyeon as well as Madison Beer, and Jaira Burns

Also for the popstars video, Madison is singing for the girl with the circular sunglasses, a character called Evelyn. pentakill - mortal reminder (they have just one music video, but two whole albums and even an interactive album experience)
true damege - giants
heartsteel - paranoia
Pentakill has three albums. (1) Smite and Ignite, (2) Grasp Of The Undying, (3) Lost Chapter.
YASSSSS
yessss they should
God I fucking cried at that video. Faker deserves allll the accolades. He's really persevered and been through so much.
yes, and afte that react to the 2024 worlds song "heavy is the crown"
Faker 5-ти кратный чемпион мира 🔥
11:31 no its soyeon of gidle rapping 😅 maddison only does the highnotes for the chorus and a part after soyeon
There are three different scenes:
1) The PAST: Morgana (purple angel) and Kayle (white angel), twin sisters fighting to save the Demacian refugee camp against Aatrox, a Darkin (demon) with a living weapon.
That explanation video from Necrit is a must, the whole cinematic was packed with lore details
2:32 the song “GODS” is from a girl K-pop group called NewJeans
Whatever that "All LoL Cinematics" compilation video you saw was, it's lying. LoL has WAY MORE cinematics than the compilation has that it would go past 30 minutes.
The game has been around for more than 10 years now. Naturally, it would have at least a few hours of cinematics+music videos+teasers.
Worlds 2024 starts tomorrow!! and this year's anthem comes out in a few minutes
Been years and i still couldn’t get over POP/STARS
The first song you reacted to, the girls who sang it are from Newjeans, a kpop group.
btw the first music vedio is by new jeans a kpop girl group in the same label with bts.
you guys should react to "villain", honestly its the best league of legends aong in my opinion 🌚
Due to delay as Arcane was gearing up, Riot asked Studio Fortiche to do some other small projects including Pop Stars. In those smaller projects, Fortiche was able to iron out some techniques that made Arcane even better.
they literally just released their new song for this years world championship !
In my opinion, Awaken, Warriors (2020) and The Call are also must watch cinematics. Tales of Runeterra cinematics are too, if you wanna learn more about the world of League of Legends and it's different regions.
4:44 my guy, that’s from The Greatest Showman 😂 Panic did a cover, but it’s not their song
Madison Beer sings for Evelynn. The rapper is Soyeon, the fox girl Ahri is Miyeon both of (G)I-dle and very worth looking into.
The creature at the end of still here is Kindred the manifestation of death in the league lore universe aswell as a playable character in the game. every character you see is either a champion or player with a backstory.
well G-Idle and newjeans are famous kpop girls groups u should react to them
Please do react to G(idle) they are great . React to Oh my god, Tomboy, Nxde, queencard, super lady etc
i have never seen anyone spell (G)i-dle like that 😭
New jeans and gidle from the first two videos you watched are kpop groups. You should check them out on your other channel
For those who wonder why it looks like Arcane's art, well, simply because the Arcane characters are part of League of Legends, so obviously the art style will be similar, plus League of Legends has its animated videos where part of the story is explained, and another thing, the characters that appear in the MVs as protagonists are representations of the League players.
i think riot makes the best game cinematics especially their league seasons cinematics
(like The Call, Warriors, the KDA songs...)
Also reacting to a Worlds Game would be fun too
React to NEW JEANS - "SUPER SHY" and (G)I-DLE - "NUDE", please!!
More League of Legends please!
Little Lore for you guys, the lamb and the wolf are literally death in the LoL universe. You can see glimpses of them through out all 3 of the settings. In the end the guy in the snow Tryndamere, is quite literally fighting death and won.
a new vid just got released heavy is the crown on the league page
Thanks for checking out NewJeans
Ahri (9 tail fox) is voice by Miyeon (vocalist) and Akali (the assasin that has paints kinda thing) is voice by Soyeon (main rapper and leader) both girls are from (G)-IDLE, YOU SHOULD CHECK THEIR MUSIC ITS A BOP!
K/DA's 2018 "POP/STARS" are legends
its worth to watch finals of the Worlds. Opening Ceremony is a big show and the stage is the biggest.
Also Madison is in another KDA song called MORE and also in KDA "Villain"
Warriors is my favourite league cinematic. The music just hypes you up soooooo good.
Definitely yes for more LOL content. You should react to the world's 2023 opening ceremony (with gods by NewJeans live) and well world's 2024 are starting tomorrow with a new song out!
League of Legends is goated in terms of animation and music. They've nailed it for the better part of a decade at this point.
you guys needs react to performance of the first song, is really good
Idk why POP/STARS gets me choked up, I think it's because of the talent (artists, musicians, etc)
The first song is from Newjeans a kpop group i think yall should check their music in your other channel
Yall say this like gods is a newjeans song smh
@@deftbestboybut it is, it is a collab, so since it’s a collab automatically this song is from newjeans
Such as
- 🗣[1] Some BTS commentary from the creators giving more details about champion cinematics further expanding on lore knowledge, concepts, & perspective.
Could be for fun off-camera
- 🤖[3] Some umbrella videos that are about side mediums such as Arcane, other games (Legends of Runeterra, Riot Forge, etc.), & writings (comics/books)
📝Note: At some point in the mid/late 2010s, Riot began incorporating the in-game engine into their champion teasers/trailers.

4:23 that is not panic that is fall out boy im crying HAHAH
It’s neither 😂 the ‘haven’t you ever heard of’ is, but ‘ladies is gents’ part is from one of the songs from The Greatest Showman
10:02 hell yeah
The wolf and lamb are known as kindred together. They represent death, in the final scene the dude (tryndamere) fighting is actually him fight real mean, kindred is just what he sees. If you watch it back you can see that, at the end of the first scene, lamb's shadow appears in the flames. In the second scene just before the arrow hits, you can see wolf's eyes in the tree line. Both symbolize death.
The funniest part of this reaction was them always asking if Madison Beer was singing during the Korean parts 😂😂 since when does Madison know Korean?
Very fun video guys, it's a treat seeing you get so excited about both the songs and videos. I think the fandom would jump at reactions to any of League's massive video library of music videos and cinematics. We LOVE seeing new people react and fall in love with the music and world. If you are at all interested in the lore, which is massive as Arcane (just a very small part of it) can attest to, then checking out Necrit's videos is the way to go.
You guys need to watch the worlds 2019 and worlds 2023 opening ceremony.
You will enjoy their live performance on stage
You guys should watch the live performances for these videos it’s so good!!!
the 2023 theme song for LOL Worlds is still my favorite to date- they just released the MV for the 2024 Worlds..but the narrative of the MV and the song did not give me chills as much as 2023's...although, Linkin Park is the artist chosen to sing for this year.
A whole cinematics series is coming in december I think it was. Was announced during gamescon and I am so freaking excited about it!!
You could react do Linkin Park "Heavy is the crown". It was released yesterday and is also for League of Legends worlds
id love to see a video of you three playing your first LoL game, that'd be great. also a reaction video to WORLDS would be amazing!
that mv is story of the underdog player in championship and every character on that mv are real pro player.. and thats fight from lastest world championship
12:42 , Soyeon from G-Idle! Goosebumps
❤❤❤ queen
21:50 whoever made these videos knowing Riot probably got laid off immediately after the video was uploaded.
I shall be the paragraph person and explain what’s happening
I’ll be including some short hand
KR = Korean Team
LPL = Chinese Team
EU = European Team
NA = North American Team
JPL = Japanese team
VCS= Vietnamese team (yes they have their own region don’t ask I too don’t understand but god if it isn’t hilarious how much they throw a screw in everyone’s gameplay)
OCE = Oceanian Team
LLA = Latin American Team
PCS = Pacific team
GODS (New Jeans)
The main character is Deft, ad carry (role) for Dplus Kia (team) at the time. The antagonist is Faker, midlaner (role) for T1 (team) basically this is one of the songs made for the World Series. It basically goes over Deft’s story (Korean high school where he went to the same school as Faker albeit I believe he’s younger than Faker and therefore not in the same year or class as him irl), deft was good at the game (see also him playing Ezreal (character) and fighting blue buff (epic monster)) but not nearly as good as Faker (playing Zed (character) fighting Baron Nashor (Global neutral buff)) so while Faker went to worlds, Deft had to sit at home and grind since he wasn’t nearly good enough to become a pro yet, he’s finally gotten to the stage, on the team Samsung Galaxy Blue (SSG Blue, KR) but he’s up against the sister team Samsung Galaxy White (SSG White, KR), Deft playing Lucian (character) is getting hunted by PawN (player)’s Jayce who eliminated Deft in Worlds 2014
Next scene: Deft is playing Sivir (character) with his buddy Meiko (player, support) on Thresh (character) on Edward Gaming (EDG, team, China) in 2015 Worlds. However they’re up against Rekkles (player, ADC) on his signature Kennen (yes I also know that’s weird since Kennen is not normally a botlane but 2015 was a different story)(character) and is knocked out by Rekkles and his team FNATIC (EU)
Deft then moves to KingZone DragonX (Team, KR) where he’s playing Senna (character) getting hunted by Invictus Gaming (Team, China)’s Ning (Player, Jungle role) on Graves (character) and Rookie (player, Mid role) on Syndra (Character) the dude jumping in is DRX Doran (player) on Jax (Character) and the guy jumping in to protect Deft is Kiera (player) on Braum (character) respectively playing Top and Support, this takes place during worlds 2019
Unfortunately after this elimination Deft hits a tough time and is considered “washed” or basically no longer in his prime (why he’s falling through a glass surface) and is drifting around on different teams, before being picked up by a new version of DRX and travelling to Worlds 2022, first opponent is Meiko, still on EDG, playing Renata Glasc (character) versus Deft’s Draven (character) whom he win against, next up is Doran on GenG (team, KR) playing Renekton versus Deft’s Varus (character), finally, in the finals, Deft is facing off against Keria, the support who saved his life earlier, on Karma (character) and Deft is on Caitlyn (character) now Keria is playing for T1 (remember how I said Faker is the antagonist? Yeah this is why) Faker on Viktor (character) drops in and kicks Deft in the face only to get counter punched/ganked by BeryL (player, support)’s Bard (Champion) portalling in all 4 other members of DRX, first to go in is Pyosik (player) on Hecarim (champion who rushes forward, knocking Faker off balance, he’s followed up by Kingen (Player) on Aatrox (champion), a distraction is created by Zeka (player) on Azir (champion) for Deft to land the killing blow, ending the finals series and giving them the victory
Welcome to “I spend far too much time watching professional league of legends while hardstuck EU silver 4”
Also the final scene is a preview of 2023’s worlds where more players are hunting for the trophy, we see Ayu (player, LLA/Brazil), Azhi (player, PCS) and Levi (player VCS) at least name dropped, I am sorry if I missed others
KDA: Pop/Stars
The girls here are playable characters in game, they’re Ahri (fox girl) Akali (Ninja Girl) Evelynn (Sexy dommy mommy demon) and Kai’Sa (girl with shoulder pads)
STILL HERE:
Welcome to the weird story, Kindred (character) who’s basically the in game version of Death is hunting for their victim (how does kindred work? Kindred is a two part being, one, Lamb, guides the souls who accept death kindly, whereas Wolf hunts those who try to run)
We open on Tryndamere (character) in a clearing pretty badly wounded and outnumbered, he’s a bit of a special boy so we get back to him later, but not before we see a figure with a bow watching him
We’re now watching the early days of Demarcia (region) being founded by the sisters Kayle (blonde hair) and Morgana (purple hair) but they are at war with a demon thing known as Aatrox (dude trying to punch the girls) he knocks them both to the ground where Morgana uses her ultimate in game (Binding Shackles I believe it’s called) to pin him to the ground and Kayle kills him via her passive (yeah idk how that works either, welcome to the cinematics not making sense video game wise) when Aatrox is burned we see a figure standing in the fire, on one leg with a hoofed foot and a bow (this is lamb, watching from afar)
Next scene: we’re in Ionia (region) a group of bandits have clearly burned down a city and a young woman is fleeing the carnage only to trip and fall, an old man steps up to defend her, against the bandits, this man’s name is Yasuo (character) who’s a samurai who uses wind magic, he’s now old and has been on the run for a majority of his life (he is currently in the lore, this is a vision of the future and how he will die) before getting pummelled by arrows we see Wolf watching from the trees, this makes sense because Yasuo has been on the run for the murder of his master for the better part of 20 years by now (league came out in 2009 and he’s basically been running since then) even though he didn’t do it
Back to Tryndamere in the forest (this is in Freljord, region) my man is straight up fighting death, this is where we get a good look at both Wolf and Lamb, he’s doing it during his ultimate in game (Undying Rage) due to an encounter with Aatrox, Tryndamere has the ability to get so angry he can’t technically die? Idk how that makes sense either, but once the rage wears off, Kindred transforms into Ashe (character) Tryndamere’s wife, who came to rescue her husband, video ends with Ashe shooting her hawk shot (e) into the sky to alert her tribe to their location
Yes I have way too much time on my hands
I massively respect that, and there is a reason I have a "LoL Inspirational" playlist XD
Now, of these three, Still Here is probably the most interesting, because it is very in-game-lore driven. Necrit has done a very good breakdown of all of it. Just as a little teaser, in the third scene, the spectral wolf and the white-furred archer are literally that world's embodiments of death, and the character fighting is someone who goes into a berserker rage whenever he's close to death. But yeah, even the song itself just gives me chills, because, in my personal life, I've had a lot go sideways over the last several years, and the whole energy of "I'm not giving in, I'm still here" just hits very hard.
the characters in the mv are actually the pro players using the skills and weapons of their main champions in League
You guys can watch legends of runeterra videos as well, same universe of league of oegends but those videos are for their card game
Two of the girls from the first song are actually from Australia!!
Sooo many games makes their own music now which is so amazing bcs we get to feel the game better. Just like how anime music industry too
The third video you reacted to is one of my favorite cinematics Riot Games has put out in a minute.
Yes Yes Yes! More league content please.
just watch the worlds moments and memories of 2023 and 2022 to see the hype of league of legends esports hype
The rapper is Soyeon from gidle and she’s amazing also produces all of their music !!!
reacting to the opening ceremony 2024 would be better than watching the tournament ;)
funfact: the MV's popstars and RISE were both animated by Fortiche - the same studio that did Arcane
Watching League seasonal cinematics always feel like watching a whole movie accompanied by great music.
Im looking forward to yall reacting to more league content
Do "a new dawn" "awaken" and "the call"
Next they're all league of legends cinematics
Can you react to Seventeen its a kpop boy group💎❤️❤️❤️
It would be so good if they could actually get someone who knows the league champions and some of the lore to actually explain some of the things going on, especially in cinematics like Still Here. It would add that extra understanding and appreciation.
Ya'll need to watch the Awaken video, that was one of the best league of Legends music videos
The first video is about a League player Deft and his journey fighting other professional players to finally win the Worlds 2022
New Jeans 👖❤
They should react to more cinematics, there are incredible
In my opinion "awaken" is the best their cinematic. I love all content from riot but that video is the most exciting for me
Welcome! xd
Each cinematic has content for the Lore of the league, cinematics are not the same as music videos or World Cup videos. the cinematics, perhaps not so much the first ones, but a little bit before "Awaken" 2019 the lore of many of the characters begins to show. I would say that it begins in "Climb" which is the cinematic of 2018, previously the cinematics were more a sample of the game and the champions themselves. You should definitely watch them all and you should definitely watch the "Still here" video explanation.
Greetings from Argentina.
Comparing newjeans to panic at the disco is crazy 😭😭
